Currys - Brentford Anmeldelser 

After years of being a loyal customer, I am shocked at the horrible customer service I experienced at the curry’s Brentford branch. Refused to replace a faulty product purchased last month and repair takes minimum 4 weeks, leaving me no option but to purchase a replacement elsewhere. No interest in resolving the issue and rude staff.

Good customer service

I have used my local Currys for iver 40 years. My laptop refused to work,they told me it was dead, zi am not a technician but in my job dead means dead so was pointed to buy a new one,which I did,mid care sakesman went home,none of the staff knew how to proceed so had to return the next day. Then the technical place phoned me to say my computer was repairable,this posdibility was never spoken about.
There is not enough staff & not properly trained,only wish for a sale

AWFUL rude extremely disrespectful & unhelpful staff !! Currys Brentford gets a thumbs down from me & I will never set foot back in there ever again !!

I'm so happy I bought this chest freezer Logik L95CFW23, it was reasonably priced and the size was perfect. It's very quiet.
Great customer service in store and follow up communication. Delivery was within the timescale given.
The delivery Driver was very polite and very helpful.
I would recommend Curry's to my friends and family.

We spoke to the manager, that our assistant Daniel who had given us the wrong size; lied to us that the size would be small as one of the other laptops. The manager had instructed us that unfortunately nothing could be done as we had opened the package, which I think is absurd as how can we verify the size of something WITHOUT opening it.

In our receipt it says that refunds are ALLOWED yet the female manager said under company policy this was not allowed.

We felt as though we've been mislead by Brentford Curry's PC manager, and her justification that, she won't give a refund as it is difficult to sell an item once it has been opened is quite frankly absurd. If this was you, and you bought an 800 quid item, then get accused that you are lying about Daniel's behaviour, when you are not, how would you feel?

At the bare minimum, at lease give us some sort of compensation, it's not fair on the customer that we should be compromised because of staff liabilities?

We requested that this behaviour be logged, to which the manager responded word to the effect of "we have not heard any complaints about Daniel for the past 20 years". We don't want justification and dismissiveness, but accountability.

Do not purchase ANY items from this particular store in Brentford as to us, the service provided felt dishonest and caused unnecessary stress and anxiety.

We were not informed about the size and that charger's do not come as bundles.

You have lost a family as a customer. Such a shame, as we've worked with this business before, but the staff experience in September 2026 was an immense let down, and know we have negative-place perception of this store.

I'd encourage whoever is reading this, do not do your business here.

There is no any help with customer support , when you buy any thing it was very easy, but when you need help no one can help you, either when you speak to the management they give an email for the head office to raise your complaints,, this email is not working and phone number when you use it it’s an AI answer then you ended by nothing. That’s the way they making their money.

Salesman not professional. Didn't show different options.

I was in the Brentford store looking for a laptop/notepad and needed help.

Had to wait a while for my pick up from Curry’s as no one at the collection desk.

I got served by Antonia
He was swift, helpful and thorough. Listened to what I needed and gave me all the additional info I needed for the laptop.

He offered the upsales of extended warranty and the like, but didn’t push it. That normally makes me walk away, so I appreciated his approach with me.

I ordered a smartphone for collection at the Brentford branch. On arrival I had to wait at least 5 minutes at the Click and Collect desk before anybody came over to help me. It's not that the staff seemed especially busy - there were more staff than customers! Just that they didn't notice me (despite my being accompanied by a bright orange bike because there were no bike racks outside in the car park). Once someone did attend to me, he very quickly found and gave me my new smartphone. Then I asked if someone could help me transfer my data from my old phone to the new one. He pointed me to the two guys in the nearby mobile phone section of the store. However, even though these two weren't busy with any other customer, they pointed me back to the Service Desk. Here a woman was busy dealing with a customer with a laptop problem. I waited there for 10 minutes but no-one else came to help me. So then I gave up and left, very disgruntled.

The Manger of the store was very helpful and so was the lady who finally served us.
But my first interaction was with a member of staff who was extremely rude, and had a bad attitude.

Minesh provided exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond to help us. We arrived a little late, but luckily we met Mr Minesh, who approached us calmly, professionally, and with a genuine willingness to help.
He took the time to understand what we were looking for and patiently helped us choose the right product. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made the whole process much easier and less stressful.
I really appreciate his professionalism, patience, and excellent customer service. It is not often you come across someone who genuinely cares about helping customers. Minesh is a real credit to Currys, and we are very grateful for all his help.
