The gentleman who served us was both informative and had a sense of humour. He pointed out the best buy for us in tumblr dryers.

Good product selection at a reasonable price. Staff were not pushy and when we did ask for help the store assistant was very knowledgeable and helpful.

In past years when I have gone to Curry's the staff have been extremely helpful however I cannot say of my recent visit. The member of staff who dealt with was very helpful and, is seemed to me, the main motivation was to get rid of me asap.

Item was delivered to local curry’s a day earlier than stated

I have on many occasions, for many years, purchased from Currys.
This time my experience was the worst ever.
I wanted some luggage trackers which worked with both i-phone and Samsung.
Unsure of what I needed I phoned the Blackburn store number, but presume i was through yo a call center.
The call taker seemed somewhat uninterested and lacking in product knowledge.
After a time he said the right products were available and he could have them sent to the Blackburn store for collection in around one hour.
I asked if I could collect and pay when I was sure they were correct for my needs.
I was told that i would need to pay at the time of the call to enable them to betaken to the store.
Reluctantly I did.
On collection I was told the goods were in store all of the time.
I was in a rush when I collected as I was on my way to work at 7pm.
Later that evening when I looked at the goods, I had been supplied with tracker holders and not trackers.
The next morning I returned to the store and spoke with "Mebs" who agreed to take the goods back and refund to my debit card, which he attempted to do. He then said as I had paid over the phone I would only be able to obtain a refund by having the goods collected and a refund would follow.
I was not happy about this and aske to see the manager, to which he said he was the manager.
I was at this point very dissatisfied and said that this was totally unacceptable.
He then called over another employee called "Sam" who very quickly was able to arrange the refund, which has now reached my bank account.
I still have no goods and in a few hours i am leaving the country and. for safety. would have liked trackers on my luggage.
Quite frankly the initial staff member who took the call was clearly not interested in my needs, didn't listen to what I was asking for and totally lied to me.
I could have gone straight to the store to try to obtain the goods, but I phoned for some professional help which I did not receive.
Further, "Mebs" was lacking in product knowledge and also was insufficiently trained to effect a refund for me.
It's a good job that "Sam" came to the rescue. He was efficient, polite, friendly and apologetic.Up to that point the whole event was a disaster.
