Great customer service and friendly helpful staff. Always in contact with me when I was buying my car and felt truly valued as a customer. They didn't try to hide any issues with car. Everything was explained and shown to me in well lit area of the showroom and with bad experiences from other dealers I can't say bad word about this place.
Fair honest and very professional. And a great car for a great deal. 5 star service

Bought my first car here the guys went over the top to make sure the car is spotless and ready for a full year with fresh mot! Would recommend highly and probably will be back when I'm able to afford something fast. Thanks again!

Cumbernauld Car Sales is complete fraud. Avoid buying vehicles from this dealer. I bought a Vauxhall Mokka from them which appeared ok at the time i picked the car. But the car developed serious engine problems before i drove it home. Cumbernauld car sales have been tossing me back and forth since them. They are con artist. I will be taking legal actions to get my money back no matter how long it takes. -Segun Nuga

Was interested in the beginning, then realised it was a Cat d, advised I am no longer interested as it’s a cat, reply was “ Yes it is a cat, not a dog” rude !

Went here to look at a car for my grandson ,who had just passed his test, the car he choose looked the part, a Peougot 206, and even drove well, so he put a £300 deposit down on it.Then the salesman told us the car had been "categorized ",which in effect means its been in an accident,written off,bought back from the insurance company by the owner,who got it repaired,and sold it too these cowboys .We stupidly didn't review the company until we got home OMG,what an error on our part.I phoned them on the Monday morning too cancel the sale and ask for my grandsons deposit back ,no chance, I said did he want this experience to be my grandsons first ,and lasting impression of buying a car ?,his reply was "such is life mate",a total heartless conman ,DONT BUY FROM THEM.

We went and put deposit on a car with good faith. After 2 weeks of chasing the car after being told 3 to 5 days we got told its still not ready. They knew we had to sell out own car and only reason we went with them was to get it quickly. We chased and chased to be told tomorrow and so forth. 2 and half weeks later no car so we had to rent a vehicle and finally had to purchase elsewhere. Week later still no car and told no deposit refund will be given as they had to get car ready. They were willing to sell a car that had paint work issues right in to the metal. Car needed to be checked before anyone was able to drive it but said the money was for that. They say all cars are bought in, checked and made good to go. Its not the case. They want you to pay deposit first so they can con you over. I didn’t listen to reviews and now they have my 350 deposit and still no car. They said if I want to chose another car they will put deposit on car. Really look at reviews on here and fb. They are con men who don't care. They will sell you a bad vehicle or not even get you a car but take money. Something has to be done to stop this from happening. Owner has multiple business and it won't surprise me if he's conning innocent people in to his other business.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
bought a car from them, faulty from the moment we got it back home. Took it to a local mechanic (we live 500 mile round trip from Cumbernauld) found several faults including ones that where major advisories on the previous MOT yet where not on the MOT given to us by Cumbernauld car sales. Also, a major issue with the gearbox making the car unroadworthy! Email and called their show room and customer services, absolutely no help whatsoever, stated my consumer rights to which they completely ignored now taking legal action to recoup some of the thousands it’s going to cost to get the car back on the road!!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

Called to enquire about a vehicle and ask for viewing, was told by the salesman that he would need a £50 refundable deposit to hold the car and that if we didn't want it, there would be a full immediate refund. I have 3 witnesses to this conversation.

Noticed £300 had been debited, called to query to be told his boss told him it had to be £300.

I informed the salesman I didn't agree to that and that I was no longer interested and to refund my money.

I was then told there would be no refunds on deposits (even although I was promised it was refundable and he took more than was agreed).

I later found out the car in question was a Category S write off.

Utter scammers. Beware.

Very disappointed. Bought a car and nothing but problems. Mechanic staff have some amount of cheek. The majority of the sales reps are just as bad. Wouldnt advise getting a car from here unless your looking for a project or to drive about like Fred Flintstone 😒

Having looked at the reviews on this company I decided to not buy a car, I was in contact with a member of the company but on receiving a call back who laughed at me when I stated that I had changed my mind due to the reviews and said that he would refund my £200 on his return from vacation, which the company hasn’t done and refuse
to answer my calls or send refund but reading the WhatsApp messages. UTTER SCUM

This company still ripping people off take them to court I did also if you look at the many court cases they have are shocking also check Scotland Scammers and Cumbernauld Community Page on Facebook and see the hundreds of people they have ripped off also report them to trading standards as hundred have are under investigation

Since buying my car from Cumbernauld Car Sales, I have experienced nothing but issues. Their Mollinsburn Showroom has provided me with the worst ‘customer service’ if that’s what it would be considered to be. After nearly 6 months, I have still not received my V5. I tried contacting the DVLA for help but they pointed me back in the direction of the garage I’d bought my car from, as they’re the one who were supposed to have sent off my V5. Upon calling the Mollinsburn Showroom asking for help, I was greeted with nothing but a poor attitude from the person on the other end of the phone, who offered no help in the slightest. Cumbernauld Car Sales are happy to help you up until the point they have received your money, and after that, they want nothing to do with you if you’re in need of help. Would not recommend the company to anyone.

The dodgiest car sales out there, my wife bought a 2013 fiesta that was Cat S which was fine if repaired correctly. When I had a mechanic look over the car there were significant faults including the dual mass flywheel knocking, the radiator held on with tie wraps, and the bumper not held on correctly(this was advised to be rectified when collecting the car) but was not, Heated front screen not working which was one of the features my wife wanted the car for, Missing parcel shelf and wheel well tools. After seeking legal advice I notified the company that I would be rejecting the car as this was in the first 30 days of ownership. The owner turned out to be the nastiest piece or xxxx that you could come across saying that there are no faults with the car and as it has a current MOT there was no comeback, I would have pursued it in the small claims court but my wife needed a car due to her work so left with rectifying the faults myself. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - The cars may look ok from the outside but will be a headache for you to own.

I had seen a car that they were advertising on their Ebay showroom, october last year. It was advertised as £6995, when i phoned about it, they took a £300 deposit, then sent an invoice for £7695.

When i called them to ask about the price on deposit, they told me the car was £7995. I asked where that figure came from and they said thats what was advertised. I mentioned it was on Ebay and Gumtree for £6995. They then told me all their pricing came through Poland and if i was not happy to take it or leave it. They man i spoke to was very aggressive and came across as a complete dick!

They told me about their deposits being non refundable and it was in their T&C's, i asked if i could see them, and then they sent me a screenshot of a google search engine mentioning that deposits from car dealers were non refundable......which is clearly not the case. They then sent me a link to their own T&C's which did not work. I started getting abusive messages from them when i asked about my refund.

I paid my deposit through my credit card, which I am glad I did. I called my credit card company, told them what was going on, sent all the relevant email trails, txt messages and even the reviews of their garage.

Needless to say, I recieved my refund from my CC Company. I was absolutely gutted after Started reading their reviews, and spoke to a couple of friends who are car dealers in that area, who started laughing about Cumbernauld Car Sales and saying they were a terrible company to deal with, and why did i not get in touch with them instead of going to Cumbernauld Car Sales.

If you are reading my review, please take heed of my warning and stay away from them. They have the worst customer service, the worst cars and should be closed down completely by trading standards and the managers banned from owning a company and prosecuted for the distress they have caused so many pepole.

Disgusting company and customer service - avoid at all costs. I met with a male car salesman on Saturday when looking for a car and put down a £200 reservation fee for a car after he verbally reassured me that if for ANY reason the sale was not completed that they would refund my money as “we don’t keep your money if you don’t buy a car from us, we’re not like that” .

Anyway after considering the car and the reviews from other people with the clear nature of dangerous cars we decided not to complete the sale.

On Monday I called and spoke with a female who told me that she would advise the salesman I was dealing with and get him to call me back to arrange refund.

Fast forward to today (a week later) I called and managed to speak to him again and he denied all knowledge of the conversation that we had, reported that he never said this and that they do not refund any deposits.

This is atrocious customer service and a disgusting company.

Poor experience when i phoned to enquire about a car for sale - which I had called about the previous evening.
I arranged for a friend to collect me to drive to the garage but when i phoned to get directions first thing the next morning they told me that the car has been sent to the garage and is getting fixed. Alarm bells began to ring!
They couldnt tell me how long the car would be in garage and whn i could visit to vie (I was in urget need to purchase a car for family reasons) and when I communicated my dismay as to why they couldnt have told me that the evening before, they put phone down on me.
My instinct says avoid this place.

Cat N car .. the repair may have looked ok on first basic glance .. whilst on ramps , the repair was basically tie straps and glue .. what might seem like a cheap buy will turn out more expensive. They don't bother to reply .. Avoid like the plague

I had a very bad experience dealing with this outfit. I paid deposit for a car and less than 2 hours later I called to cancel because I found some discrepancies on the car details which I originally didn’t know about and was blankly told my money can’t be refunded. I wouldn’t have an issue with this if I was pre-informed that deposits are non-refundable. They allowed me to pay and expected me to find out after giving me a receipt. Who does that? I called the manager and everyone I could talk to to make them see reasons as to why my money has to be refunded but one of them told me that they were protecting themselves from those who just come to test cars and leave thereafter (to me this was rather fraudulent). I don’t deserve that trauma. I should not be pinned to a car because I test drove it. Shouldn’t anyone be entitled to buying something worth their hard earned money or something reliable? Why was I not asked to pay before testing the car then? I was left with many questions as this was my first time dealing with a company with a hidden no refund policy. The once “very nice” manager become really rude. I left them with my deposit that will not be refunded and I left with no car. I better have no money than get a faulty car
