Absolute shambles of a company.

In debt 7k just before lockdown and got told a iva was the best thing to do, no letter, alls, peace of mind etc.

First few years were fine monthly payments etc, then a year ago i got told my iva was suddenly changed to 7 years!! So i rang them and got told its because your oay has increased at your job!!

So i decided to pay my iva off, told in febuary i could do this and they will work on the certificate, since then my monthly bill has went from 81 a month to 296, even after paying the final settlement. I was told they were working on my certificate of completion, and then in july i get told they still need to speak with creditors theres a 50/50 chance they wont approve the ending of your iva and imcstuck tillcmarch 2027 and still have to pay 300 a month, when ive paid everything!!!

Not only that, i keep getting told multiple stories from different emails, and if this review goes well on 13th august, i then have to wait 6 more months for a certificate of completion.

Heres one piece of advice. If your 7,000 or 8000 in debt, avoid a IVA and this company, as the communication dosent exsist and they lock you in for as long as they csn robbing as much as you can!!
The final settlement letter they sent off 4.5k was paid to my creditors, over 1,750 pounds was paid to the supervisor for sorting my case out. So they are just Money Grabbing Bastards!!

They are not able to be registered from my opinion for a person loan. They are very poor în experience. Customer communications are like a s**t.

If i could put zero stars in would! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THE MOST INCOMPETENT COMPANY I HAVE EVERY DEALT WITH. DO NOT USE THEM OR FREEMAN JONES AS THEY WILL TRANSFER YOUR CASE TO THEM WITHOIT CONSULTATIO N AND YOUR STUCK WITH THIS CRAP COMPANY. 6 months and counting trying to settle the debt and still getting nowhere. Hundreds of emails and official complaints and just fobbed off

Credit fix are not helping at all
They are totally ignoring my situation and yet they are not responding to my emails

I have said that I am not able to pay £635 per month, got told that July payment was £267 instead they tried taking £635

I have offered £350 per month from August until December this year but they are clearly refusing my offer

Do not go with Credit Fix they are the worst company ever to get help from with your debts

They are also trying to get me to go bankrupt

Have had an IVA for over 3 years now and can count on one hand the amount of times I've actually had any communication from them! Calls to them are usually led to me sitting on hold until I can't wait any longer (over an hour on many occasions) or being put through to an Indian call centre that can hardly understand what you are saying and vice versa and I've left the call being non-the-wiser. Had my review last year and they said they needed to speak to me regarding it, after trying more than 7 times to contact them I have now resorted to emailing them, but as of yet, no answer to them either. The online "Portal" is a waste of space as well, nothing of interest or use is on there and it hasn't been updated by them since the account was set up three years ago!

Avoid like the plague. Communication is awful, random replies at 3am in the morning. When its time to complete annual review you are treated like a criminal. I was asked if I'd like to reduce my payments during covid which I did, and then they reviewed my income and said I didn't qualify and increased my payment despite being on furlough. The reduced payment was only in place for 3 months. The le gth of my agreement increased to 6 years, I am now 6 and half years I, apparently still have 3 months left to pay on a debt that should have been paid off 18 months ago. I have paid over double what my original debt was. I cannot wait to be done with the cowboy company.

Total administrative failure by David Rankin's team. They issued an IVA Closure Statement on 11 August 2025 after my mother's estate paid them directly in January 2025.
Then they messed up completely and sent an Annual Review notice in March 2026.
Their senior team emailed me to admit that the creditor deadline has passed and no one else has a claim to my money.
They then called me and verbally admitted the overpayment is around £2,500—yet they refuse to put this figure in writing or transfer the funds.
They are forcing me to wait indefinitely for cleared money they admit belongs to me and my IVA is still current on the insolvency register.
Case reported to the Insolvency Service Gateway for willful withholding of client property and refusing to provide a written financial breakdown.

I've paid into my IVA for 6 years and 1/2. My last payment was in July 2025. I'm still waiting for the Completion Certificate. They said it could take 6 months, well, it's been a lot more than six.... I've emailed and called. I will start an official complaint soon. The annoying thing is that before entering the agreement I asked and they reassured me I will get the certificate... It's really annoying. If you can sort your problems elsewhere, do so...

I would give zero starts if I could. The lack of respect for there customers and the zero response to emails is a joke I have been hung up on, passed from person to person, told that they will call me back and they never do. This has been going on for a Year now

Do not trust this company they are terrible

I would say the customer service is bad if they actually had any!
I really wish I could start again and find another agency! They prey on you in your moments of desperation and then once they have you you are ignored! I never get any response to emails and never had any of the really important issues explained properly!
I would definitely recommend finding a different company to help you!

I paid every payment on time throughout the IVA for 6 years. I knew about the closure process taking between 3-6 months the last payment. That payment was 30/9/25. No closure cert yet, despite several calls. Just off of the phone to be told they're waiting an update from creditors who they emailed on 11 March 2026, which could be upto 22 Days. Told I'll get an update by 10 April. Absolutely rubbish. The service is good whilst getting your money but then in doing the bit after the service has been shambolic.

Dishonest process. Avoid & choose an alternative company.

Very helpful at very difficult times. Struggling to make ends meet due to loss of job so payment break put in place. Very understanding about my situation

I spoke with Martin McGougan, who really made the process easy and stress free for myself, he dealt with my enquiry quickly and professionally showing great empathy and found a solution.

Creditfix have always been consistently brilliant from the beginning of my IVA to 41 months in. I cannot find any faults with an excellent service from start to the point I'm at now. Well done for a service that has been very good always creditfix. Special thanks to Martin.

Huge thanks to Martin McGougan for his speedy and knowledgeable help in getting my card updated and ensuring that my payments will be getting through as they kept bouncing due to the system. Credit fix are a good company but unfortunately do have certain staff which do look down on you and other staff who are generally very nice and understanding.

Always have a great experience on the customer line setting up this agreement and it’s nearly finished
