Thankfully this was for the lesser amount quoted, so even better! Thanks.”

We had a uPVC window that we could not open. We contacted Ewan who asked us for some photos of an equivalent window when open. From this he gave us a reasonable quote. Although not an emergency he came the next day. The job was more difficult than expected as it needed a part that was not commonly available. Ewan went to get a substitute part and worked at the job until it was finished. The window now works perfectly. Communications were excellent throughout.

Cannot compliment Ewan enough - he gave me instructions over the phone and the lock on my front door is now working perfectly! I had put WD40 everywhere but it needed an additional squirt in the right place.
Can’t think of many people who would forgo a call out fee and be willing to help over the phone.
Will definitely use him if ever I need a locksmith again

Had a key jammed in the front door unable to mive the barrel back to vertical to retrieve it. Contacted Ewan using whatsapp so able to get video call to show the issues and he was able to analyse correctly the problem. Was out quickly to fix the door with great detail not just retrieving the key giving a full service to make sure the lock fittings were all smooth and aligned. Extremely prompt, professional and fully explained the issues goinh forward with the locking systems

I was informed reasonably early enough of Ewan’s arrival and he was really courteous through the visit. Got the lock fixed quickly and even explained the reason for the issue (which was very useful to hopefully prevent the same issue arising in the near future).

Excellent service. Ewan did a great job. Good price, in fact the price ended up cheaper than the quoted price. He explained the cause of the failure and gave an allround explanation of all the contributing factors. Very professional. The front door deadlocking mechanism now works tight and better than it did when it was brand new.
