Poor experience
Visited the branch in Cheltenham on Feb 12 for the first time, swayed by the sign that said they were “award winning”.
Cappuccinos were bitter and the froth, such as it was, very flat. We disliked them so much we had to leave them on the table unfinished.
Was not keen on the ambiance of the cafe either with hard wooden chairs and small tables. Not somewhere to relax, just drink up and be gone.
Will not return.
Disappointing for all the hype
Went inside for the first time not expecting much but hoping to have a nice experience and feel welcomed. I asked for a iced caramel frappe. After looking at some of the options I came to realise the choice. Not much gluten free items. The inside looked nice from the outside. But inside is dingy and they just went for tables rather than a nice experience. Prices are almost the same as Costa. And id rather pay 20p more to get the same drink but 10x better quality. The caramel tastes like it's watered down honey.
So many staff members behind yet I was waiting 15 to 20 mins for a drink when there was only a few people in front.
As for the brick wall inside. An elderly blind women could have done a better job at building that brick wall then what's been put up. It's an eye sore. And it's straight as u walk in. Appalled by the lack of natural light (let alone any) being blocked by a bar in the center of the shop.

A bit grimy and tired
Most of their cafes seem to be getting a bit grimy now, everything is a bit sticky in there. Also they allow dogs everywhere which is a real pain as there’s always one barking or trying to jump up. They need to up their game, there’s a lot of very good alternatives.

Stratford upon Avon branch
I love this coffee shop (Stratford upon Avon). My dog and I are always made welcome and the staff are just some of the best in the world of coffee shops. Keep it up Stratford!!
Stafford Branch!!
Went to the branch in Stafford. Lovely service, the store is kept in immaculate condition. Had a barista called Mia, she was amazing. She works efficiently and to a high degree. 10/10 would go again and recommend to family and friends!!
Steer clear of the Bromsgrove store
Steer clear of the Bromsgrove store. They sent me an email offering a voucher for a half price coffee if I bought one at full price. I did that. The voucher never turned up. I went back in to complain. The staff didn't want to know. I shall just stick to Greggs and Costa in future. Never received bad customer service from them.

takeaway cups again at Leamington shop
Leamington shop has now been using takeaway cups for in shop service for nearly 6 weeks and charging drink-in price. According to the CEO Bruce Newman this was because of a drain problem and the dishwasher cant be used and that they would treat it as a matter of urgency. 7 days latter still not fixed. Urgent?? They had the same fault last year again there was an excessive repair time. Try trust a trader there are lots of drainage engineers listed. Being cynical I wonder if it will get fixed when all the Christmas takeaway cups have been used up?

We ordered a matcha with oat milk and white chocolate syrup.
Firstly we were questioned on every element, and when repeated to the barista, there was a hint of sarcasm!
The drink itself was awful, and ended up leaving the drink.
Customer service definitely not up to the norm, and felt very disrespected.
Always our go to for coffee, very disappointed.

All about profit and not a about customer experience
Imagine spending 15 minutes standing in a queue, to have some poncey barrista ignore you,when you enquire about an order to make..3 people running a store full of people. Obviously your company puts price before consumer opinion.. charging over the odds for a shoddy little tiny drink which you pay £3.90 for, you instead don't employ enough people to make drinks. You have the bare minimum to console your profits. Never using your shite over priced premium coffee service again. I will use Costa Next time..
The app is a scam
Me and my wife went to the new Northwich one as we saw there was an offer on the app for a free coffee. We wanted to try it first to see what it was like before coming here a second time and paying the full price which keep in mind is £3.95 for a latte (higher than prices in big cities). We both downloaded the apps onto our phones and it took 15 minutes to install and verify both of us only to be told that our numbers were already in use when we went to claim the final offer. We tried multiple different things on the app and nothing worked. We were stood there for 20 minutes in total looking like idiots. When we went to ask the staff for some suggestions they looked at us like idiots. I would really suggest saving your time and patience and going somewhere else. It almost ruined our morning.
Forget the Taunton store
Takes an absolute age to get what you want in the Taunton store, we always say never again but end up going back in and again saying never again. Rule of thumb if there's more than 3 other customers in front of you it's going to take around 30 mins before you get served. Finally reached our final never again the other day when a junkie pushed to the front of the queue and asked for a spoon, yes a junkie asked for a spoon, the member of staff handed over a wooden spoon to which I thought good work, the junkie then said he needed a metal spoon and the member of staff just handed it over, couldn't believe what I'd witnessed, I'd already been waiting 20 mins with only 2 customers in front of me, I just turned and walked off, vowing never to return again and this time I won't. Hope that junkie didn't bring the spoon back!
Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. Partner queues for 20 minutes (at least and not exaggerated) to get to the front of the queue to be told “sorry, we’re taking a break and not serving now”. Having served the person in front of my partner and with no indication whatsoever that anyone behind that person wouldn’t be served is just unacceptable! There were also many people behind my partner queuing too! It seemed staff were not at all concerned that people should wait in line for an age before being turned away! This isn’t the first time, at lunchtime the coffee shop just stops! Run by teenagers who clearly have no customer service skills, I’m amazed this place is still running at all. The server said there was a notice at the door. When we arrived, the double doors were both open and no notice. This would have been done after joining the lengthy queue (it’s always a really slow service). It won’t be a place I will go to again. For reference, this is Leamington Spa - avoid!
Coffee#1 in Street
My recent visit to Coffee#1 in Street was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Despite arriving during an exceptionally busy period, the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, offering a thoughtful apology for the slight delay – a rare and much-appreciated gesture. The atmosphere was wonderfully comfortable, making it an ideal spot to unwind, and I was particularly impressed by how welcoming the café was to dogs. My canine companion and I were made to feel right at home, which added a personal touch to an already pleasant visit. Coffee#1 in Street combines great service, a cozy environment, and dog-friendly charm to create a standout experience.

I have visited this coffee shop several times. The coffee and cakes are great. Unfortunately sometimes the service is not . The staff are very slow to respond to a customer if it is not busy. I have walked out twice because of the waiting time for someone to decide they would serve.
