Unfortunately we had no choice in the matter, our insurance company used this firm to carry out a desk based assessment of our claim for repairs to a broken sewage/water drain in our garden. Despite being 400 miles away, and never having seen the garden or repairs, they came up with a figure well short of the cost of the repairs. We obtained a copy of their report but it is useless because it does not tell you how they came up with the figure and the firm refused us that information.

Claims Consortium Group have been totally professional throughout my claim. They have provided contractors to sort my household renovation, (after a water leak in a tank) who provided an excellent service with a high standard finish. CCG constantly provided updates through excellent communication and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend them! A big thank you to all the staff who helped with my claim and made the whole process stress free!

The team were thoroughly professional and polite. When they left the site, it was mor3 tidy than when they arrived ! The team clearly explained what they were doing throughout the work they were doing. I would certainly use this company again.

So I took Gold cover travel insurance last June 2024. Before travelling to the formula 1 in Spain.

I took SVT (heart condition) on holiday and was administered to hospital from the airport before getting the flight home. I had to have my heart stopped and reset in the airport when my heart rate was sitting at 204bpm.

I missed my flight, had to book another and a hotel for my friend and myself. Let's face it he wasn't going to leave me lying on the floor of the air port!!!
It was my issue, so I paid for it. Costing £400 plus food etc.

One year later, the insurance company STILL DID NOT PAY OUT! I rang them and said I need this sorted ASAP. They paid out a measly £168, not even the full amount of my half, after wanting all details of me and my friend.

Absolutely disgraceful insurance company! My advice, AVOID CLAIMS CONSORTIUM AND ROGER RICH & CO AT ALL COSTS!!!

I have been very impressed with the way my claim was dealt with. At all times I was kept fully informed, tradespeople were efficient, came when expected, and the whole process was hassle-free.

Very polite. And prompt action.

"Cowboy builder" is the term I'd use to describe the type of repairs they carried out.

From the chap who did the original investigation to his two colleagues who carried out the repair the service was excellent.
They were polite and helpful and ensured I was aware of what needed to be done and clearly knew what they were about.
I would happily recommend them unreservatly

I wrote a 1 star review a month ago when this group sent an assessor to look at my wall which had blown over in the recent storm. If I could I would change my rating to zero stars. They rejected my claim. I appealed to SAGA my insurance company. Within days I received a phone call. the SAGA agent said they could not understand why consortium claims had recommended rejecting my claim. Records showed that we had storm force winds that were classified as structurally damaging and that was why my wall blew down. He offered me £150 in compensation for my upset and a settlement for 50% of the cost of rebuilding the wall. The settlement was almost identical to the settlement my neighbour got from his insurance company with no drama. SAGA is an excellent insurance company and they need to dis associate themselves from this mob before their reputation gets tarnished.
