The saga continues
In reply to the company's attempt to avoid any responsibility for its poor customer service in its responses to my comments:
1. I have not confused this company with any other. I called the number advertised on its website 0845 643 6913 (is this your number Chesterfields of England?) four times over two weeks and was charged £11 by my mobile phone provider.
2. I used the link from the company's own website, (chesterfields.co.uk) to put my reviews on Trustpilot.
3. I have reported the company to Trustpilot for providing misleading information in its replies to my reviews. I have also forwarded copies of my telephone bills to Trustpilot, in order to verify the number I called and the charges that accrued.
If this company had anything about it, it would have contacted me immediately in order to resolve issues. Instead it has just tried to cover up its shameful customer service by attempting to smear a potential customer, accusing him of posting 'fraudulent' reviews.

great service and value for money
Ordered the prince of wales in blue velvet and really impressed with the sofa! always difficult when you order without seeing the item properly or being able to try it out but we took the plunge and it was well worth it. will be ordering again for the next room we redecorate.

Our chesterfield arrived today. It took 12 weeks to arrive from order but worth the wait. The quality is amazing and we will be looking to order another two seater.

We ordered 2 Queen Anne chairs and have had them for about 6 weeks now. While they do look good they are not comfortable. The seat depth just isn't enough to make it feel nice.

Quality made in England poor customer service
WE HAVE HAD TO CHANGE OUR REVIEW REDUCED OUR RATING We received our chesterfield. We waited 18 weeks because it was made to order the quality is second to none. It's beautiful leather the smell fills the house, but unfortunately the club chair and queen Anne chair were both damaged in transit but as for the quality they still deserve 5 stars. . The only thing is Chesterfield of England are going to have to make two new chairs taking about a month, turned out to be 9 weeks but these are not mass produced; they are hand-made to order. I give them 5 stars the quality deserves 5 but the customer serve deserves 2 1/2 don't expect a response with in a reasonable time, don't accept the expected delivery time to be honoured. So if you want quality but don't expect 100% customer service this is the place. Also arrange your own delivery or collect as the replacement queen Anne chair was damaged on the back and can't be bothered to wait another 9 weeks for another replacement paying to have it repaired. Both times the delivery firm tried to force through the doors till I told them to take feet off, but since they spoke very little English even that was a struggle.
Issue resolved
The sofa I ordered was different to the one which was delivered, this has now been resolved by returning the sofa with a full refund.

Fantastic service and very high quality furniture. Tracie in particular was great at helping with queries and order amendments, very quick and clear responses over email.
One suggestion would be to ditch the 3rd party call reception company as I expect you are paying a lot for someone to say “just send an email”. The couple of times I did call, it was completely pointless and better to email.
On online chat option would be much better and cheaper I imagine and certainly a better experience for customers.

We are very happy with our order (3-seater saddle leather chesterfield). The quality of the product is excellent.
At first it felt like an awkward setup - the phone helpline doesn't seem to be as helpful or connected to the business as the customer service via email.
However, once I got on an email chain with Tracie the customer service was excellent. Naturally there is a lot of negotiation and timing to be considered with products like these, and we had to change our delivery date/address when a house sale fell through. Tracie made sure that was communicated to the team and everything was handled smoothly and was no trouble.
5 star product. 5 star customer service from Tracie. 4 stars overall because of the slightly confusing start to the experience, and the telephone helpline not being as helpful or connected to the business as it could be. Hope that's helpful.

Brilliant and faultless service from visiting the showroom to delivery and we are over the moon with our sofa and chairs. They have exceeded our expectations with the quality. Could not recommend this company enough.

We ordered a Chesterfield sofa in August and it was due to arrive around Christmas week. We were delighted to learn that it was arriving yesterday! It is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful quality! I contacted customer service with a question and Tracie went above and beyond to help me! We are now tempted to buy another! I can't fault them!
Deeelighted with our choice!
We ordered our new sofas the weekend after we moved into our new home. The ordering process was easy & the choice was wide and very clear and it did not take us long to decide what we wanted. The estimate delivery time was 16 - 18 weeks and, bang on time at 16 weeks 3 days - excellent. The delivery guys were pleasant & professional and put both sofas where we wanted them in our lounge and removed all the packaging. We are delighted with our choice, they are super gorgeous and super comfy - deeeelighted!!
outstanding value for the money
It is very rare for us to buy such a large valued item online , but after a lot of research we chose Chesterfields of England .
Tracie has been an excellent ambassador , from sending a sample , to keeping us informed of delivery dates and answering an queries promptly which always installs confidence in a Company .
Delivery was in 16 weeks ,although they had supply problems .
On arrival , the delivery guys were excellent and everything from the colour , quality of leather , and craftsmanship was faultless .
We will have no hesitation from reordering from them again and telling everyone where we purchased from .Well done to all that are involved in producing a first class British product.
