I had a good experience dealing with Sam and Jack at Chancellors during the process of renting my property. Jack was always knowledgeable about the properties he showed me, and was not at all pushy, which I appreciated. This was instrumental in me choosing my property. Sam was friendly, high-energy and tenacious while helping me progress through the necessary steps of the rental process. He always gave me plenty of time to talk through issues with him. From what I’ve seen, Chancellors hires good people and allows them to be ‘humans’ rather than sales machines. An infinitely preferable approach to finding your next home.

They are always proactive, quick to respond to any questions or concerns I may have and keep me regularly updated. Incredible service and speedy action.
I used Andrew and Finlay a year ago to find me a very special flat, which they did so well.
Only for me for me to see my “destination flat” on Richmond Hill in January.
Andrew and Sam secured the flat and had 2 weeks to find a tenant for my old place.
They did that, seemingly effortlessly, but I am sure moved heaven and earth.

I have been with Chancellors for over 10 years and initially was impressed with the Property Managent team (a lady called Mary?). However over the last couple of years the service as deteriorated and I wrote to the manager but have had no response.

Over the last few weeks my contact has changed and I have been impressed by Barbara Monterian. She is responsive, conscientious, follows through on actions and issues as they arise and communicates well. Given I live in Devon and my flat is in Kew, I have to rely on Chancellors to manage the maintenance of the flat and to ensure its kept in good order. Mine was a cash sale. From the off it was clear that the agent was more concerned with driving a deal on behalf of a landlord buyer rather than representing my interests as a seller. I accepted a substantial reduction in price with a quick sale promised, but there were continued efforts to soften me further on price. For some reason I was allocated two negotiators from the same office who didn’t seem to communicate with one another, leading to repetition of details, a situation further complicated as the sale progressed and Head Office got involved.
