Always 5 star service and quality. Really surprised to read negative reviews as everything we have ordered has been of excellent quality and delivered on time.

I have to say I am really impressed with my latest order. Communication following order was great, delivery was as per my notes and the wood is burning a treat.

Just put another log on the fire and was compelled to write a review.

I am a loyal customer who has bought a lot of wood from them in recent years. My last batch was not burning well (poor burn and dirty). I tested the logs with a moisture reader. The previous batch were reading under 4% but the new batch were over 20%. I sent them photos demonstrating this and they claimed over 20% is within specification for kiln dried logs. Really? Air dried maybe but not kiln dried. And demonstrably not to their own previous standard. No solution offered and when I pressed they asked me to post them a log?!?!? And they “certainly” didn’t offer to pay for postage. Very saddened to say I will be looking elsewhere for proper kiln dried logs going forwards.

They have two website - national and local
National website has “free UK mainland delivery” BUT is £65 more than if delivered in this county !!!!
Apparently if our in local postcode should get pop up to go to other website- we didnt get it - not on mobile website perhaps
But lots of people get it working but they “usually” manually find then and sort it
Anyway bag delivered, son dutifully emptied into log hut - weird not full when previous deliveries had overfilled it.
Spoke to unhelpful customer line - no suggestions just that bags are filled equally each time
Luckily had an old bag measured side - shorter- sent photo “oh you must have smaller bag in error” no apology
Inadequate refund offered
Spoke to citizens advice who have referred them to trading standards due to their misrepresentation re free delivery -

They would only give full refund if can collect re bagged wood

No interest in meeting us half way or trying to resolve situation- despite 10 years as a customer !!!

How many other people have had wrong delivery & no way of mowing as bags not labelled with size

Really poor - do not deliver within advertised timelines, poor communication and unapologetic customer service

Oh dear, whilst the wood supplied from this company is ok, the customer service is woeful. Buggy website and on raising the issues the ‘customer service’ agent was dismissive, unhelpful and condescending, refusing to help despite a glitch their end. It seems they’d prefer to lose custom over being helpful and providing good customer service. A very peculiar approach to running a business. Sadly would have to agree with previous reviews of the staff being arrogant. Will be looking elsewhere for wood supplies as a consequence. Unimpressed.

Great Service - had booked a date for delivery, then had to change the date due to unforeseen circumstances. The pallet had already left but Certainly Wood arranged for it to be held at the depot until we were able to take delivery. So full marks for Customer Service. The product is amazing. I was willing it to get colder to justify firing up the logburner. Great solid chunks, perfectly dried that last much longer than the Birchwood we have had in the past. 10 /10

Ordered 31 August 2022..

Still waiting delivery October 4th. No delivery date yet confirmed.
Website says 2 to 3 weeks. Contacted them twice yet still nothing.

Have been happy 2 years before. This will be my last order from them.

We've ordered bulk bags of the smallest logs (25cm) for our burner for two years on the trot from Certainly Wood. We buy when there are discounts so look out for these. They are delivered on a pallet lorry on a date of your choosing and on the day you get a two hour window. We found the size to be consistent with some smaller cuts that are great for starting the fire. The logs are properly dried and so produce little to no smoke in our burner. Very happy customer.

Brilliant. Delivery was spot on despite storm Franklin. Quality was superb. Our third delivery from this company. Absolutely spot on - what a change from the usual sad misery of online ordering. Worth every penny.

Over the years the quality of wood has declined whilst the price has risen inexorably, way beyond the rate of inflation.

They screw up orders; tell you it'll be with you the next day (when you phone them to chase it). This is massively misleading when all they've done is put an order into the DPD system... DPD then takes 24 hours before they even pick up the delivery.

The quantity of wood was actually much bigger than expected, so really feel that we got well served for the price, very good quantity / price ratio.
Will recommend certainlywood for sure, and will keep ordering from them in coming years.

Good quality wood, delivered as promise. Good customer service and good to deal with.

Quite good Quality BUT there are far too many small, almost kindling pieces of wood and very small/thin logs that burn away in no time.

Classic bait and switch. Advertising Black Friday pricing today but will not honour the pricing, already showing as sold out even though you can buy same product from stock at a higher price.
Only answer from company 'computer says no'

I was recommended to use this company and placed a order for kiln dried logs, slightly more expensive than others but decided to take a chance.. Made an order however delivery never happened, so it was re scheduled and delivery did not happen again , cancelled order... this company might have good logs but need to sort out their delivery company .
CERTAINLY won’t be using this company again
