As usual, we had a wonderful experience with Kia for our car seat fitting. I have returned to Cariad Babi many times over the last four years, from sling fittings to car seat fittings, Kia always offers the best support and advice and always gives you the time you need to feel confident with the product you are purchasing.
On this visit we were having a car seat fitted in a grandparents car and Kia very clearly explained and demonstrated the installation and supported them in having a go for themselves, prompting and advising where necessary until they felt 100% confident with how to install, and remove the car seat, as well to safely fit my son. I’m sure we’ll be back again for the next baby who’s on the way!

I booked a session to check whether the car seat for my 3 year old grandson was fitted correctly. The only other place I've come across which might have done this - Halfords - wouldn't look at it as it wasn't a model which they sold, and in general weren't very helpful in their manner. After extensive searching online, and learning that in the US there are people whose job is to give child seat safety guidance, I found Cariad Babi. There was good communication before I attended the appointment ie they contacted me for more details about my grandson and the make/model of car seat, (which I hadn't been able to give at the time I completed the online booking form) to ensure they would be able to help and save me a wasted journey. Even though their focus is on rear facing car seats they were still able to check, andadvise me about a Belt Collector which I have now ordered to address the problem of my grandson being able to wriggle his shoulders and arms out of the harness straps. Definitely this sort of service needs to be more widely available.

Louisa was fantastic, really knew her knowledge, explained everything & took the time to try all the seats possible for my car and my mums, she actually recommended an alternative that unfortunately they didn’t have in stock, so I’ve ordered it and waiting for its arrival to head back to get it fitted.

Also the big bonus point is that they had toys available to keep your toddlers entertained!

Leah was so lovely and helpful. She fitted a car seat to try in our car to save us buying a new car because my older child's car seat is a bit too big to be behind my partner if he drives. The one we wanted isnt in stock but the same size as one they had, there was no pressure to buy one of their seats, but I will be booking back in to get it fitted when ours arrives. The shop is lovely with toilet, toddler sized toilet and changing table. There are toys to keep kids occupied too which is nice. Leah was lovely to my daughter too, making her feel very welcome, which is always nice. I saw all the lovely slings/carriers they have too, i would definitely come back to hire one if i needed to, but i currently have my own.

We had an absolutely fab experience when we were looking to find an alternative carrier to the one we were using. Kia had so much knowledge, compassion and kindness! Kia knew exactly what kind of carriers to recommend and Archie is absolutely loving the lenny lamb hybrid carrier!

I had an appointment with Kia yesterday to go through how to use our sling. Kia was brilliant and went through how to use it step by step. Kia has given me so much more confidence in using it, thank you.

She was so kind and helped me when I was having sensory issues when I came into the shop. Her and her staff was patient and caring and took their time with me and my Sen child. She helped him into the seat and talked about the rules he needed to follow and talked me through everything, making sure I understood etc. one staff member took said car seat out and installed it for us too. We spoke about next steps/seats so I will be 100% returning. I messed up and pressed a wrong button, rang the store and they were lovely and calmed me down and said I could return so they could look at the seat and reinstall if needed. I can’t thank them all enough and will recommend everyone to go here!

Kia did a fabulous job with our new car seat. As always. We have now purchased 3x car seats from Kia, over the past few years. Every time we have had top class service and been happy with our purchase.
We have also been back to have the seats refitted every time that we have had a new car, or wanted to swap positions around, as I value knowing that the seat is correctly installed.
We have also hired and purchased slings, as well as purchasing a range of other items.
Kia's values and business ethic resonate with me, so I support her business and vision wherever I can.

Leah was very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a difficult car to get 3 across the back, but she managed it straight away without even needing to put the other minkid on the drivers side.

Kia was very knowledgeable and helpful during our appointment and we quickly figured out the sling wasn't the problem - I was! We were able to try an alternative and she gave me good tips on how to use it and increase my confidence with a slightly less straight forward carrier. Would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Leah was lovely, she helped us choose the perfect seat for us. The service was excellent. There was no pressure to purchase. 100% recommend using Midlands Car Seat Centre. The customer care is beyond exceptional. We were given so much information, and asked so many questions. There is nothing bad I could say about our experience.

Another amazing experience at Midland carseat centre (Cariad Babi). Having purchased a carseat a few months ago from them, I now needed an additional set of tethers fitting in a second car and a fit check to make sure the seat was installed correctly, as I had swapped cars since Kia first installed our seat. Both Kia and Leah were brilliant. Both are super friendly and knowledgeable. Leah checked the install in my car, which gave me much-needed confidence that I was installing it correctly. Kia fitted our tethers (which I could never have done by myself due to location of anchor points). I wouldn’t go anywhere else for car seats or advice now, and I recommend them to everyone. The cost of the appointment is worth every penny for tailored one-to-one support, fitting and advice. You are getting someone who is probably trained, and they genuinely care, and not about profit, which makes them even more unique. Thank you again for your time yesterday.

We were very impressed with the one to one service we received. We were recommended by our son and daughter in law who had purchased a car seat from Cariad Babi. Kia was excellent in going through all the safety features etc. We purchased a different seat to that of my son but did not have any problems in fitting it and our grandson has had his first journey in it. The dog also sat in it for a journey !!

Great value one to one education for new parents when it comes to car seats and the right wat to fit them in your vehicle. The team is delightful to talk to and most importantly full of experience based knowledge to pass on. We learnt so much and left clear on the set up we need to keep baby safe :-)

Wonderful 5* Service. We came to buy a car seat and get it installed in 'Nans' car brilliant didn't take long at all to fit it. We asked if we could get my partners car seat checked as we purchased our seat from another retailer. They checked it and the seat was very loose and the safety leg tab hadn't been pulled out (we weren't even informed there was a tab) We came back a week later to get them to check my car seat as well and also had the same issue luckily Kia reassured us that now ours are both fitted correctly. Thank you so much it was well worth the 3 hour round trip. Nothing is worth risking your child's safety. We are so glad we visited and got them checked over and Kia reassured us if we needed any help even online that she will do her best.

Kia and her team were absolutely fantastic and helped us get 3 kids seated safely together in the back of the car (previously had one in the front which isn’t as safe)
They were so helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy in the slightest. In fact they actually saved us money twice and told us we could save on the cheaper seat which was just as safe. They sell Swedish tested car seats which are tested to a much higher standard than the UK and my two year old loves her new pink axkid seat and is clearly more comfortable than in her old one as hasn’t tried to get out or asked to forward face.
Really recommend visiting here if you are upgrading your seats or have a new car etc. They are a wealth of knowledge and also have lots of eco products for sale, rent slings and advise on breastfeeding support etc if needed.
They are non profit and clearly care and try to make a difference.
So glad we found them and we will definitely be back, thank you ☺️

I had an appointment to perfect the fit of a ring sling. Staff always friendly and very Knowledgeable. Made to feel at ease. 2nd time I have booked in with them. Would definitely recommend
