The "Meet and Greet" parking is a rip off.
We booked this as one of our party is disabled.
Ive used meet and greet at other airports before and have been met by a driver who takes your car away.
On return the car is returned to you.
The so called "Meet and Greet" in Cardiff has none of this.
You park your car and walk to a portacabin then have to que up to hand in the keys.
Upon return, again you have to get in a que to collect your keys. Which is not ideal at midnight when you are on crutches.
You then have to drag your suitcases across the carpark to find your car.
Do yourself a Big favour...dont pay "Meet and Greet" prices for standard parking

Cardiff is a small airport but still has everything you need whilst waiting for a flight. Security was a breeze with no queue at all. We had to take the lift up to security as we had a pram and it wasn’t clear which floor we had to go to. It was rather disappointing to find Greggs wasn’t inside the departure lounge, so you would need to buy your baked good before going through. Inside the departure lounge you’ll find a Costa, bar, Italian restaurant, WH Smith’s and a duty free shop. There’s also places to fill your water bottle which is handy. Most of the departure lounge is bright and airy, although the bathrooms seem quite dated.
Airports can often be stressful places, but everyone we dealt with was friendly. Our flight was delayed and a lady from Costa did offer seating space in Costa without needing to buy anything, purely because the seats are a bit more comfortable.
I would say that the gates need updating a bit. A bucket placed out for catching leaking water in the air bridge isn’t a great look.
Overall all it’s a great airport. Hopefully the number of airlines and destinations increase over the coming years!

Small airport, easy to navigate, friendly and helpful staff. There are places to eat and drink, enough choice before a flight. Check in was efficient. Airport car park was close and convenient. The only downside is the road leading to it isn’t that well sign posted, that should be easy to improve.

Not enough staff at any of the catering outlets . Dirty floors , tables left uncleared . Shunted to departure gate only to be kept waiting like cattle in hot ( no air con) holding area !

My daughter was stopped on her way home from Cyprus and her suitcase was damaged and they won’t replace it absolutely disgusting

Had a great holiday then we landed at Cardiff airport.
Miserable rude staff member at end of walkway off the plane and then the baggage issue.....
Suitcase zip broke at some point, I imagine when unloading. Suitcase was new and in tip top condition.
As I drag it off of the conveyor belt at baggage collection I notice the suitcase is open at the top. As I pull it off the belt the whole contents fall on the floor.
How did it break? I can only put it down to lack of care with our baggage. Plus the case was put on conveyor belt totally insecure. No effort to secure our belongings!
Very poor experience.
Not much care at Cardiff airport from my experience.

No breast feeding facilities and was told by manager to go to the toilet to feed baby! Manager had food stains on top too.

In ladies toilet there was no soap, tap didn't work and toilet didn't flush, in gents the hand drier didn't work. After getting through passport control a man went to help his disabled son who was having difficulties and he was shouted at very rudely several times even after explaining what he was doing. Another person got through when the gate opened even though there was a big red cross on the screen. I'd say hygiene and safety are issues that need to be looked at.

Why on earth when disembarking the plane onto the tarmac do you have to climb 2 flights of stairs then walk a long way only to go down 2flights of stairs, the baggage claim said one belt then another belt started, then another long walk to the long stay car park luckily it wasn’t raining, trying to wheel suitcases over uneven ground proved difficult, and as for the car park it is not well signposted. SHOCKING.

Beats Bristol Airport hands down!! Relaxed, organised and most of the time no delays. Unlike Bristol that has no baggage handlers, rip off restaurants and bars and useless silver parking area. Every time we have traveled from there we have had long delays because of bad management.

All I can say is what a shambles this airport is. Delays and incorrect gate number stated on way out. Delay wasn’t even shown on board but was on internet. Oh and don’t wear a lanyard unless you are elderly because they won’t help you, but they will pick up any money you drop accidentally onto the floor and put it in their pocket. Use Bristol airport instead.

Our liquid bags were not accepted as they were too large and could not be sealed. They insisted our boarding passes were placed in a tray to be inspected. Our boarding passes were on our phones.
They were struggling to cope with the number of passengers even though there were very few flights, Bristol Airport next time

Love this airport - so stress-free. Flew from Cardiff to Dublin and back with a toddler and everything about the airport experience was easy, quick and convenient. No queuing and no delays. Defintely planning on using Cardiff airport whenever possible from now on.

Took off from Cardiff a week earlier. And that was OK. No rush to check in and the baggage drop was excellent. Landing in,in my experience is always very bumpy. This is 3rd time landing at Cardiff and I don't know why it's always very heavy and sharp, as if the pilot doesn't know the run way is coming up so quickly and it makes for a very scary landing. After that it's almost plane sailing, just need a few more passport people to make it quicker.

After a bumpy flight & several failed landing attempts due to bad weather we diverted from Bristol to Cardiff. Wanted to say big 🙏👌 to the Cardiff ground crew including Lee who patiently helped us with transfers etc Thank you.
Great customer service & welcome from Barry & Di with a cuppa & 😊. Thank you folks. Happy new to you & yours 🥳

Amazing hospitality shown by staff after our flight was diverted here when we couldn’t land in Bristol. Friendly faces and a helping hand when you need it most. In particular Barry, Di and Lee were so lovely.

It makes my job feel better and others I'm so proud of myself for doing all the reps and calls also waitressing

A big shout out to Curtis came home from holidays to find two flat tyres helped me out big time thanks for taking the time

First time using Cardiff Airport for a few years. First of all parking. I paid for premium, which was not clearly signposted or laid out. Member of staff had to "create" a space by moving cones for me Check in was a debacle. Wizz Air queue was actually for TUI flights, self check in machines had been turned off. Finally directed to a TUI desk for a wizz air flight. Only 3 staff covering all desks, who were unpleasant at best
Security was haphazard. Whilst staff were relatively friendly, they were a mismatch of "trainees" or on loan from The Phoenix Club. Wouldn't have used the term professional. Departure lounge was OK, although considering the small number of flights it did seem very busy. I think more work is needed to entice me to regularly use this Airport.
