Dr Vinay is amazing + Delivery times are incredible.

I have been with Candor for over a year now. Sometimes you can be left in the dark with what is happening but any worries are resolved promptly in 1 of 4 chat sections they have. The phone call is easy and Vinay is very understanding and has a good understanding of their products too.

The prices are great and I am never worried about overpaying. Delivery times can be 1-2 days sometimes and everything is done online.

I can't complain, give them a go. Yes you have to pay a consult fee every 6 months but with the prices they have this doesn't matter.

Will not be changing from Candor anytime soon and I recommend you just give the consult a go before trying other providers that push AI ads and stupid nonsense on Facebook. Some of these other providers charge crazy amounts for consults just to put you on the most expensive flower.

On my second day of trying to receive a check up call I paid for. The service from when I first started using candor years ago has plummeted from a cliff. For a medical company with people organising medications and other appointments and health care around what has been booked with candor, there are significant knock on affects. 24 hours after my appointment time I have had one reply and no solutions.

EDIT- Received a call explaining problems with the booking service and hopefully resolves the issues. Doctor Vinay helpful on the phone and understanding. Hopefully resolves the issue for future use after which I would consider changing the star rating

Very long wait times once they make you pay upfront for appointment
Changing scripts that cost double for their profit
Taking payments for products they know they don’t have and knowing they can’t get
I’m looking into if they have broken any laws by taking payments for products they know they don’t have or can get have proof of that
Avoid this business
We are here for our health and wellbeing
It’s a shame Candor don’t have our best interest at heart

Say they improved, they haven’t.

I made this account solely to keep you away from this company, you have been warned. Suckered back in with an email from candor expressing that they had improved especially in vital areas like response times and communication. Trusted that and got discharged by my previous clinic to cross back over and see if they had gone back to their old standards prior to the cross over period they had with CDA. Long story short it’s been over 24 hours since I spoke with the doctor during our consultation and he expressed he wasn’t happy with the discharge letter I provided because it didn’t include an ABN number which is a small administrative issue and actually is still compliant. I was told he would promptly follow up with the nurse an after following up myself 3 times in over 24 hours and I’ve gotten nothing back. I’ve stated I can provide any additional info and just need communication but that basic formality isn’t even respected.

Unbelievably bad service. Take heed of the bad ratings everywhere.
They screw up and there is no support (as in they dont respond), there is no phone number available to call for help even. So you sit without medication and theres nothing you can do about it. I'm reporting them to the TGA

Great!

I've been with Candor since around 2022. Had a medication break due to cost of living. Restarted with no issues. Doctor was very friendly, understanding and thorough. She made the process simple.

The nursing staff were also great, helping make the process smooth.

Less than 48 hours to make an appointment, was not overbooked and easy to pick a time that suited me.

After appointment, scripts sent and medicines dispensed through partner chemist via Startrack.

All up a great experience as it always has been, for me anyway. Process started Monday, finished by Thursday, medication on Friday.

Candor Criminals

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing an urgent complaint regarding Candor Medical, an online medical service, due to serious concerns about prescription management, patient safety, and potential misrepresentation of practitioners. My experience raises immediate safety concerns that I believe require prompt investigation and regulatory action.
Summary of Serious Issues:
1. Prescription Mismanagement and Procedural Failures:
* I was previously prescribed and using 120 grams per month of Schedule 8 medication. Without consultation, this was abruptly halved.
* Prescriptions issued could not be filled before expiry, yet remained available for purchase on the platform with no mention of any limit, only a 10-day dispensing interval.
* Each attempt to process prescriptions resulted in funds being debited from my account, followed by cancellation. Some funds have not been returned, and scripts are no longer accessible.
* After 24 hours of no response from the platform, someone outside the company (an unrelated pharmacist) informed me that my new monthly limit was 60 grams; however, I was able to collect 75 grams on the first day, demonstrating serious procedural failures in prescription management and dispensing.
2. Inadequate Consultation and Ignored Medical Explanation:
* A scheduled 20-minute consultation lasted less than two minutes. During this time, I explicitly stated why I required my existing prescription of 120 grams per month.
* Dr. Vinay Patel asked only three questions, including “What do you want?” and stated he only needed one reason for the prescription, dismissing further explanation.
* When I attempted to discuss my degenerative condition, he admitted he did not know the terminology.
* Despite clearly explaining my medical needs, the prescription was altered to simply “long-term chronic pain,” showing disregard for patient safety and further serious procedural failures in clinical care.
3. Concerns Regarding Practitioner Identity:
* There is strong reason to believe the practitioners I interacted with do not match the identities listed on official medical registries (such as the medical board or practitioner register).
* “Dr. Galaxy Wong” appeared to be an Australian female no older than 20, not the elderly Asian male indicated in the registry.
* “Dr. Vinay Patel” was a male with a thick Australian accent, some might say inhabiting the yobbo or larrikin not often accustomed with Indian doctors.. They clearly are not matching the identity listed in the registry.
* These discrepancies suggest potential falsification of practitioner credentials and raise serious concerns about the legitimacy of medical oversight.
4. Lack of Support and Account Termination:
* Every attempt to contact a nurse, support team, or doctor was met with no reply.
* After expressing frustration over these failures, I was removed from the platform for “employee safety” due to abusive language.
* My account has been deactivated, preventing retrieval of any prior messages or communications.
Impact on Patient Safety:
* Abrupt reduction in Schedule 8 medication without consultation, risking withdrawal, undertreatment, or exacerbation of my condition.
* Financial loss due to debited funds not returned.
* Inability to access prescriptions when needed.
* High risk posed by potentially unqualified or misrepresented practitioners managing controlled medications.
* Demonstrates systemic serious procedural failures in patient care, communication, and regulatory compliance. Needless to say I do not recommend this product or service.

I'm overstating this heading but its true, I was a CDA customer fir 18mths there were some teething issues at the start ( communication) but that was fixed and I found the service good. Thats not the same for Candor. It started with an generic email stating that the company CDA has been taken over by Candor and they would be taking me on as a customer but there would be a waiting time b4 I could talk to a doctor as the business was transitioning and go to the website or downliad app and register as a new patient and fill out a form...this was the start of my problems. I went ahead and made an appointment for a nurse call me pay the money for the doctors appointment in 3days. Had the call from doctor with a very protracted questionaire that was ok I'm a nusre and I know about the TGA guidelines and regulations and I wanted the same product that I'd had been previously prescribed. That done I put a order in only to discover that the pharmacy listed on their useless platform was 900klm away from where I live and it was going to take 3-4 days all this time im trying to contact them to rectify this and its only on that useless platform never a real person, only generic condensing replies from staff, so when you get frustrated and criticise their business model, convoluted procedures for customers to follow, poor service, communication and little support. I must have got too them cause they discharged me lol
And they are very spiteful as they cancelled my prescriptions at my local pharmacy. Thats their business policy ....another generic email response...thank you very much 🖕🖕Go anywhere else.. Candor Sux

Go with ANY other provider!! Its a constant stuff up with this company. I pay money for scripts that they then say "aren't valid" which they are! I try and try to get im contact with this company and their replies are so slow. Ive been waiting 4 days now for a reply. I will be reporting this company for lying about the service they provide as they have wasted valuable money of someone with a disability. I dont have spare mo ey and this. Company wastes it without asking me. Im absolutely disgusted at their service, responses, and their manner of "helping".

I was honestly considering changing clinics, but I decided to give Candor one more go — and I’m so glad I did. They absolutely excelled in every way. I booked my consult, and I kid you not, within three days I received a call from a doctor and had all my scripts updated. The whole process was smooth, fast, and handled with real care.

I’m not new to this MC scene, and in my experience Candor has gone above and beyond in every aspect. I’m genuinely happy I stayed with them, which is exactly why I’m writing this review — to tell others to give them a chance. If my experience had been bad, I would’ve said so, because I like helping people make informed decisions. But in this case, it was the complete opposite.
So, to sum it up: bravo, Candor. In my books, you guys are absolutely outstanding. Thank you for turning what could’ve been another rant about poor service into an experience that proved you’re still fantastic. I’m not going anywhere — you’ve earned a loyal patient.

Good company went downhill

Our doctors definitely shouldn't be missing consults - telehealth is meant to make things easier! That's something we will be addressing with your prescribers and we will reach out to you privately if that's okay!
Our response time is something we have been trying to work on lately and it's definitely starting to get better but we know there is room to improve, so we will keep on that!
We recently had an issue with our payment platform provider - they are a third party company who process our payments. They advised that there was an issue that they have since resolved where payments were showing twice in some people's accounts. I'm so sorry about that! We worked with them to chase that up as soon as we could, but I'm so sorry it wasn't communicated well. They caught us off guard!
We really appreciate your feedback, and we would love the opportunity to work with you to address these issues in more detail!

Started off well with lots of products…

Started off well with lots of products and decent response time.
Then took over a month for a consult with no message from any of the messaging channels when I would ask how long.
Had a consult booked to get my scripts for over christmas and was given 1 script from a $60 consult.
Doctors are extremely rude, I understand they are cracking down on things now but its not the consumers fault it wasn't done right in the first place.
If you want your experience to be easy, cheap and reliable, stay away from Candor

Unfortunately our prescribers aren't able to write scripts if they have concerns about the appropriateness of the treatment, and they can ask for more information if they feel it's for your safety and in your best interests. You're right - we aren't trying to be easy, cheap and reliable. We are trying to offer high quality care, at a reasonable price point, in a way that is convenient for our patients but is treating their health seriously. I have been with Candor for almost two…

I have been with Candor for almost two years after previously utilising CDA. I moved from CDA to Candor as CDA customer service and support was lacking - since the amalgamation of CDA and Candor, I have noticed a substantial drop in customer service.
Automated almost scripted responses, as a client, I feel they no longer care.
There is no way to contact an actual human, only via 'support' on their app.
I expect to get a generic scripted response on Truspilot that echoes their sub-par communication

Unfortunately our staff have been really under the pump and as a result, our customer service has dropped. It sounds like that's certainly been the case here too.

Change script dose without my consent

Horrible place. The doctors know less about cannabis than I do and I've never had the stuff before. I was very clear that I'd never had CBD or THC and got a prescription for a 12.5g CBD wafers. Simply because it was out of stock, they changed my script to 25mg. Any place where a doctor and company are willing to double a patients dose simply based on stock availability and not the patient's best interest is a huge red flag. They also refused to provide my prescription to take to another chemist. Total sham

Yes I got a refund after pushing for it and asking over and over for a reply from support. That doesn't change the fact that you willy nilly double doses without a patient's consent.

Since leaving candor I've learned that the 10:10 dose of the I was initially prescribed and had negative side effects, was far too high a dose for someone who's never used it before. I'm telling you these doctors know nothing.

We take your health really seriously, and I'm sorry that you don't feel that the solution that the prescriber provided was an adequate solution. Unfortunately cannabis is not a one-size fits all medical solution and our prescribers encourage you to have another consultation if you have concerns.

It sounds like there were issues about stock availability and that is always frustrating! I just want to clarify that we will never stop our patients from having their scripts released to a pharmacy of their choice. We just advised you that the pharmacy you wanted your escripts sent to was one in our network that had no stock available. We also explained this to you in the Support Chat. I'm so sorry that we didn't explain that you could still get your script sent to them if you wanted. That's something we absolutely should have explained better!

We also processed a refund for you on the day you asked for it, but we did clarify to make sure there were no other options we could assist you with first. This is because refunds take a little while for banks to process and we wanted to make sure you had the option of medication if you wanted it.

Thank for taking the time to provide your feedback. We have passed this information on to our clinical lead and asked them to make dosages and discussions with patients a priority as part of our ongoing education to ensure the best treatment plans are being put in place for our patients. Bad communication

My partner has been with Candor for 18 months, everything was fine until the last time when he tried to renew his subscription. He did manage to get an appointment with the nurse but then usually he receives a follow up call next day with his prescription. This time 10 days went by and he has not received any call, neither the prescription has been emailed to him. He did pay for the consult however he now run out of his prescription and even being a costumer for 18 months he is unable to get a call or any type of comms with the company.
Very hard to get hold of if any issues happens

Dont use this company

I've been with candor over a yr and they have progressively got worse and worse and since the merger everything has gone to total shite.
Ibwas made to wait 23days for a consult then the amount I can have monthly was backdated using the 23 days I waited for a consult, only to have Dr Patel halved my monthly amount with no notice or consultation with me! Illegal to just halve an S8 drug of dependence with no knowledge or telling me at all.
Now apparently I've gone over my 120g per month but you people included the 23 days I waited with no medication to my monthly amount.
Now I have no medication of dependence for the next 2 weeks..
Disgraceful and you can't talk to anyone that works there.
