Cambridge Baby sells Comazo underwear under the Living Crafts Brand, but their product is cheap and their claim that ladies briefs are made from organic cotton is misleading. The briefs feel like cheap polyester and their claim that elastic around the waist and legs is covered in cotton to prevent chafing, is patently untrue. The elastic around the waist and legs is thin and as sharp as a razor, so you will be taking a chance by wearing these. Avoid buying any product from Cambridge Baby that claims to be made by Comazo.

Apologies for the delay in responding to this review. It was unfortunately missed when it was posted in April, and we have only picked it up while reviewing some older customer feedback.
We’re sorry that you were unhappy with the briefs, but we do need to correct a number of points in this review.
As we explained to you several times during our correspondence, these are genuine Living Crafts products manufactured by Comazo for Living Crafts. A product made by Comazo to Living Crafts’ specification does not necessarily have the same construction or specification as underwear sold under Comazo’s own brand.
You also described the product to us as a “cheap knock-off”. We explained more than once that this is not the case, and that Living Crafts and Comazo have a longstanding business relationship. We also made clear that either company would be able to verify the manufacturing relationship if you had any remaining concerns about authenticity.
The suggestion that the briefs are polyester is also incorrect. Cambridge Baby does not sell polyester clothing at all. The fibre composition stated on our website is the composition specified by Living Crafts and shown on the product labelling. A fabric feeling synthetic to someone is not evidence that it contains polyester.
We fully accept that you did not like the feel or construction of the garment. That is a matter of personal experience. However, it is disappointing to see allegations that we are misleading customers about the composition or authenticity of our products repeated publicly after these points had already been explained to you several times.

I have purchased 5 pairs of the
Adult's Classic Scandinavian Organic Wool Socks
and in three of the pairs the socks have separated under the heal at exactly the same place, where the blue wool joins to the off-white wool. I was given one pair in replacement, but for more to go wrong is unacceptable. This cannot be an accident, it has to be a design fault. I wash these socks at a low temperature and hang them up to dry.
I purchased a couple of mens wool long sleeve underwear t-shirts, wanting something that wasn't active wear but for everyday use. They seemed very nice at first but immediately upon washing began to lose their shape. Ironing helped a bit but they both became so mishapen after another couple of washes that they were uncomfortable and utterly ruined,not even any use as sleepwear. I wrote a review about this which did not appear on Cambridge Baby's website, despite following the link provided in an email. It seems they didn't want a negative review to appear. To clarify, I had asked them not to show my first review
as I had accidentally submitted it with my full name as the form was not all visible at the same time, but my subsequent review is not up either, after several days. My first purchase from them was of a washing product and that was fine but this last experience persuades me to not purchase from them again. The clothing is of poor
quality, despite the price, and I'm not happy with the customer service, having received no response about my review difficulties or my evident dissatisfaction with the products.
Edit: finally a response after a year and a half. I know how to look after wool items, having pieces up to 15 years old which are still in good condition. I have since purchased very similar items to those reviewd, using certified organic wool, which have not become quickly ruined. Using the same washing regimen these items are still comfortable after several months and have not lost their shape - either in the fabric panels or the seams, as the review items did. My use of an iron to try and salvage the review items was a last gasp, after a very short period, and one which should not have been necessary to attempt. The items, washed as per many other wool pieces I've had over the years, deformed immediately and permanently, rendering them useless in extremely short order. My attempt to leave a negative review was unsuccessful, and engendered no response from Cambridge Baby. I was left with two useless items and a total loss.
The response from Cambridge Baby is both hopelessly tardy and disingenuous. If they had shown any interest at all in doing anything about my experience I would have mentioned it in my initial review, but there was no response at all until the one you see below. This loses them a further star. Needless to say, I have and shall not purchase anything from them again.

Please accept our belated reply. We’re sorry the tops lost their shape and became uncomfortable, and that you were left without a response about your reviews.
Wool needs gentle care. Incorrect washing can cause shrinkage or felting, and stretching shrunken garments when wearing them again can put strain on the fibres, potentially leading to weak spots and holes. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, including the recommended water temperature and a suitable wool detergent, is important.
Ironing would have been the main factor of the product being very mishapen by the end of its life due to thermal shock for the keratin. The dramatic temperature fluctuation triggers irreversible structural damage to the fibres, thus the garment.
Wool often needs washing less frequently than other fabrics, and many of our customers find that just airing their garments between wears keeps them fresh for longer.
We also understand your frustration about your replacement review not appearing after you asked us to withhold the original for privacy reasons. We’re sorry this wasn’t clarified at the time.
