Was a little worried having read the reviews on here. Delivered when they said it would be. I went for the Stadium turf. Excellent grass at a great price. I’d recommend them.

One star is being generous if I’m honest!
I purchased the turf for our renovation property last October. ‘Thinking’ get it down in a mild October and it will have plenty of time to bed down ready for 2020 spring! Oh no... so so wrong!!
Delivery was very quick came on pallet and dropped on curb side, so we unloaded, moved it, and laid it that day. It was laid on fresh top soil, stone free (killed mine and daughters backs) plenty of sun, rain blah blah blah oh and pet and pest free as a high walled court yard garden.
After a week, strips started to go yellow. I assumed it would just sort it self out over time. Well.... come spring and I have no grass just some strands. Obviously half the turf was deased or off (I don’t know grass that’s why we go to professionals hey).

So I emailed them. With pictures and well.... fobbed off, short and ‘not our problem’ attitude was replied! Didn’t even try to get to bottom of it or Call me to discuss it ... NOTHING!
I won’t be leaving this here! I’m taking this to trading standards as they are selling dodgy grass.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY! Dodgy batch street, deased company with a clever website!

Angry and annoyed, that I have now got to take it up and re do it! Wasted my money and time. PLUS got such a blasè response!

Delivered to kerbside (I.e. blocking a neighbour's car) as their forklift 'couldn't lift up' the 6cm to footpath, despite me seeing it do exactly the same lift to get it off the truck. I explained I was a female taking delivery alone and couldn't lift it all but couldn't leave it on the road until my husband got home due to traffic restrictions. Delivery team really didn't give a damn.

Turf arrived on time. Looked really healthy,
And had worms in it!
I took 10 days to lay it (because I'm slow), i just kept it moist. Watered as instructed once layed. Really, really, pleased with my new lawn. All green and healthy.
Aftercare is great too: got a reminder saying when to mow.
Definitely would recommend this company for turf.

Luxury turf supplied was contaminated with redthread fungus...

My Team supply to multiple.golf courses locally. As a rule I normally seed my own lawns however proximity to xmas and functions pending i took a chance. Wow what a mistake. Failed to deliver on three occasions. Upon delivery the turf rolls turned up covered in grit salt. When my PA contacted the supplier. They stated " so what, it will be fine and literally put the phone down" please do not use.

Useless - they also trade under several different names - very dodgy!

My 75 year old mum ordered a pallet of turf - their sub-contracted driver dumped it off so it was blocking her garage so she cannot get it through the house.

I called to complain and the first answer was "we are not going to do anything about it". They could not give a sh!1t about their customers.

Poor quality turf. Their website says it comes pre-fertilised, which I guess they weren't lying about, as it came smothered in cow dung!

Absolutely terrible company from start to finish. I chose BuyTurf quite honestly as it was cheaper than many of the other companies I saw. This was of course my downfall, as I ended up with a sub-par product and ended up losing my money anyway. The turf I received had brown patches. I looked on the FAQs on BuyTurf's website which said that some browning as normal and it would recover. I continued to monitor it and it continued to go brown in patches. I called around a week later and was told it was normal and would pick up once it settled, keep watering it etc. So, i did. It's now 5 weeks since delivery and I've got dozens of brown patches which are clearly spreading. The FAQs on BuyTurf's website described 'fusarium' which is a fungus which kills grass. It also says it can be brought in on the turf or already be living in your soil. We have a large garden, the majority of which is grass. We removed some outbuildings and so, only turfed around 30 square meters. The area where turf was applied is the only area that has this problem. No other part of our garden has this so called fungus and our grass is thriving. I emailed BuyTurf who said that 5 weeks was too long after ordering and that they weren't willing to refund my money. So, now I'm left with the same area needing to be turfed again as BuyTurf have taken my money, sent a sub-standard product and likely infected my soil! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Really happy with our purchase! The grass is amazing quality. Got the exact amount. Bought some from b&q last year which was terrible. The delivery was on time, grass is full and consistent. Great value! Thank you :)

Ordered luxury turf from buyturf.co.uk after reading excellent reviews on their website.. but those feedbacks were fake as turf received was scorched, mossed and with many patches. They are cheaters..don't order anything with this them.

I ordered 80m of LUXURY grass, LUXURY
It was defenently not it went down fine but i was shot due to damage dispite alowing ove 10% extra .. so i purchested some local cheep turf and it puts the LUXURY to shame and makes you see just how bad it is i rang to voice my opinion that they had just sent normal grass and was fobbed off i also left a bad review on their website witch was not posted !

All reviews on their website must be either fake or just positive ones listed, hence leaving on here? My LUXURY turf was far from. Ordered 40 rolls and nearly every one either had thin patches,holes and stones (easily removed but inconvenient) in or all 3. One roll even had small potatoes in one and few others rather raggy (if a word)? Felt i was given budget turf instead of luxury. I didn't order enough rolls so ended going to my local garden centre which were far far superior at over a pound less!!! A fair bit of tlc will be required to put right. Never will order again online!! AVOID!!

Six months after laying the turf, it looks awful. I contact BuyTurf and got the same lack of customer service as when i first bought the turf.
Basically the answer was, it is not our problem. So again, I can only say that I regret I ever did business with this company and would advice everyone against it.

Different types of turf supplied
I ordered 195m of which 75% was fine but the other 25% was completely different turf, it is a different colour, has way more rye grass and grows at twice the speed of the rest of the turf.
Response from the company was it all came from the same field. Unless they are using completely different seed in the same field this can't be the case.
I'm now left with a patchwork lawn that grows at different rates, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid by ordering it all together.

I'm really happy with my purchase. The turf was great quality. The order was easy and delivery company they use was really professional. Aftercare was brilliant. I received an email after the second week to explain that it's time to cut the grass and what to check. Great service all round.

I ordered the economy turf from Buyturf.co.uk. It came completely dry and I was considering to return it as it was that bad. We layed it nevertheless since I had people organized to lay the turf. It recovered since, but I previously had far better quality from a different provider at a comparable price.
You will also only see positive feedback on their website. I had submitted the 3 star rating on theirs too, but of course it didn't show up. So I guess it is questionable if their ratings are really that good...
