I cannot complain about the delivery as it arrived on time and the guy was polite and helpful. However the grass was awful beyond belief. The turf was actually starting to compost as you could feel the warmth as you un-rolled it and the grass had gone grey in colour. It looks nothing like the picture on the website and is certainly not luxury grass as I have purchased turf before, much, much better. Even now the grass has long straw like, straggly bits in it. Looking at the reviews it's very hit and miss and sadly for me and the turf it was a miss.

Quick and Excellent service, delivery guy polite and professional. Quality of the turf was excellent and it wasnt costly for how good it is. And it's looking good, i am so glad i bought it from Buy Turf. would recommend if you need Turf this is the place.

I bought the basic turf which arrived exactly when I was told it would, in perfect condition and in time for the rain so I was thrilled with it. It was good value and beautifully packed and a week later it is looking very healthy. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Promised delivery on saturday and delivered on Monday..turf looks pale quite logically..it was our second time buy as it was good in 2021 but will not return to this company in future.

Just wanted to write a review after checking reviews a few days ago before ordering - I was a bit worried about the amount of negative, but there was more positive ones recently so I went by that..

I ordered turf at 12pm on Thursday and it arrived by 5pm on Friday, lovely condition, good communication, really happy with the entire experience

Easy to order on the website, able to choose a delivery date. Good delivery by helpful driver. Laid our turf the same day and really pleased with it.

We bought lawn soil and turf last week.
It was great to be able to choose our date of delivery; knowing the turf would be cut the day prior really helped.
The soil arrived a day earlier - it was lovely and moist, perfect for laying the turf.
The lawn turf was good quality and excellent value.
I would recommend this company and certainly use again in the future.

Excellent quality product and prompt delivery on my preferred date. Communications and advice were good, would highly recommend, my experience was excellent and I will use again when doing my front garden.

Lovely quality turf. Easy process, delivered on the day requested and earlier than expected. Rang customer services as I wasn’t the one who signed for it (builders did) and needed to query something, and they were excellent and really lovely.
They even put it all the way up our driveway which saved carting it too far ourselves. Highly recommend them.

Great product and service. I ordered 25sqm of lawn turf for a specific day to tie in with a garden project and it arrived as specified, in excellent condition. I followed the very helpful guides on the website (also included in follow up emails) as I hadn't done this before. It's almost 2 weeks now and ready for its first cut - looks very healthy and lush. Really happy, thanks.

Having seen all of the negative reviews on here I have to say I am surprised as my experience was pretty positive.

I bought the luxury turf (25 sqm) which arrived when they said it would and was in good condition when it arrived. The only issue was that a few of the turfs I think had been damaged in shipping which meant two or three of them had holes or tears in them. However, now the lawn has been down for two weeks the grass is really healthy and I can definitely say its an excellent quality grass.

Overall I'm very happy with the service they provided and the quality of the product and based on this experience I would use them again.

I ordered turf and two bulk bags of turf soil, for next day delivery and paid £10 on top for delivery between 8am-1pm.

Friday morning I contacted customer service at 9.30 am and they said your order has not shipped yet, and said that it will only show when the load is shipped from the depot near my postcode.

They also said that I will get a call two hours before delivery - no call, and it was now 11.30am.

So I waited, and contacted customer service again at 11.45am and they called the depot who were supposedly delivering my goods, and guess what?. My delivery is not going to happen today and neither is it going to be delivered on Saturday.

The earliest they can now deliver is Wednesday 01 September, as they said they were busy due to the bank holiday.

It's Buyturf's suppliers who seem to have let me down, but this have completely messed up my weekend project. If I had known better, I would've gone elsewhere in the first place.
Why advertise a service they can not fulfill.

I have asked for a refund of my monies, which will now take another 5-7 days, until which time I cannot order anywhere else.

Totally disappointed on a first and last experience with this company.

Very poor customer service.
This is not the cheapest company to buy turf from but I was happy to pay the extra as they could guarantee a next day delivery at short notice. The delivery time slot was 10 hours with no indication to an AM or PM delivery. I waited in all day and nothing was delivered. I contacted the company before they closed to chase and they said it would definitely be delivered - it was not. I phoned again the following morning and was told I would have a priority AM delivery - I did not. Even though I asked them to keep track of my delivery and advise of any problems no one contacted me. So now for the third time I am having to call again and rather than risk another deliver that does not appear I asked for my money back ASAP as I need this to buy from somewhere else. The best they could do is 2-3 days as per policy. I was told (with a bit of an attitude) that there is nothing they could do. My overall experience with this company is very poor.

We purchased 59 square metres of turf from B&Q (we have purchased their turfs before for a smaller area which were of good quality) but on this occasion they are appalling. The grass (you cannot call it that) in fact it is meadow turf. We thought it was about 50% meadow turf but in fact since the 31st March when it was laid it is now 90% - we are fighting a losing battle - the disappointment we feel is indescribable as we hired a skip, removed the old turf, applied 1 tonne of top soil to only lay meadow turf. We have been in touch with B&Q and was refunded 50% of the overall layout but quite frankly we should have insisted on a full refund - so disappointed.

First time ordering turf and went with these guys as they were cheap, but the turf turned up when promised and seemed of good quality it was the budget level we went for. They were very polite when we spoke to them on the phone. They even through in a few extra strips for free and some fertiliser as well. The only point that let them down was communication as we had to chase them a bit to confirm when the delivery was. To be honest can't workout why all the negative reviews but seems to be for the higher level turf.

I bought 14sq metres of lawn turf and a tonne of top soil. Delivery was very good and the top soil seems to be really good quality. The rolls of lawn were very thin and poor quality and broke in your hands as you lifted them off the pallet. I bought some turf from ROLAWN in June and the quality was first class but this time around ROLAWN had a 20 sq m minimum order which I would have had a lot of left over lawn. The difference between the 2 lawns is incredible with ROLAWN being like Wembley stadium and the buy turf lawn in comparison being like the local rec. I am bitterly disappointed and don't believe the many 5 star reviews that Buy Turf has received. I will never buy from these again.

You will NOT get the turf you pay for! I bought “luxury turf” it was laid within 1 hour of delivery but when rolling out the turf it was brown Dry and straw like in 80% of the surface! The customer service is uneducated with no ability to rectify situations. You can see from other reviews this is an amateur operation that do not care if they rip you off. Save yourself the stress and buy els where. (Have photos to prove but can’t upload on this site.)
