Great!!! On time delivery, highly recommend

Bought an air conditioning unit on 8th June within 16 days it was clear it simply cannot cool the space it's supposed to. Raised a return request and was told their terms don't allow returns on commercial items. I bought this in my personal name as a consumer. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives me the right to reject a product that isn't fit for purpose within 30 days no terms and conditions can override that.

I have now sent a formal letter citing the relevant legislation. If this isn't resolved promptly I will be escalating to trading standards.

Disappointing experience from a company that should know consumer law. I'd urge anyone in a similar position to know your rights before accepting a refusal.

** So they asked me for photos which I sent to their WhatsApp number, they confirmed they had them on the phone and came out with the same old rubbish we don’t refund a commercial item. Funny how everything is done over the phone, they don’t seem to like to leave a paper trail. Then today I get an email saying Here's a note to let you know, we've closed your recent case about a return. This company are a bunch of scammers and they use overseas customer service to fob you off**

Arrived when they said and the delivery man was really helpful and pleasant, the TV is very nice too.

I bought a reconditioned freezer for the garage. It was a good price but one or two more dents than expected. But,it’s great for the garage and saved some money. It was so easy to order the freezer and we collected it just a few hours later, would definitely buy from them again.

Two guys delivered and fitted my washer a hoover h wash that was supplied by this outfit ,I am pleased with it and will happily shop with them again my only grumble is they rang me three times to check my address then just casually mention extra warranty cover which you can add when you buy the machine you just click it but I hadn't done that because I didn't want it they ask you why you don't want it but they
don't make a note of it so you get another call ,the last caller said I'll take you off the list and I've not had another call since so easily remedied and great product

Great prices and on the one occasion I've needed customer services, they were very responsive and helpful.

This is the second laptop we have bought from you in the last few months (and previous purchases some years ago). I had bought myself a Dell; this was an HP for my wife (Dells reminded her too much of work!). Both are superb value; premium devices for budget prices and almost indistinguishable from new. (There's a significant difference between 3rd and 10th generation i5s; much less between 10th and 15th.) And delivery is amazingly fast; ordered at 19.00on Friday evening, arrived 11.00 on Saturday. Highly recommended.

Ordering straight forward process. Arrived on time. Not installed in new bathroom yet so cannot comment on functionality. Looks nice.

Items delivered as ordered and as promised. They called 45 mins before delivery to confirm, and it was painless from order to delivery.

A terrible experience with their claims team. I bought some furniture and damage was caused to the property which I was blamed for. I requested compensation to pay for damages, however my emails have been ignored by Mr Monuar Rahman. Terrible and unprofessional service. Avoid at all costs

Online ordering very straightforward. I decided to collect item from warehouse in Huddersfield. It stated I would receive an email when it was ready to collect however I did not receive an email. On collection there was no staff available to assist putting heavy item in to vehicle, however a member of staff who happened to be walking through the car park did assist when we requested assistance.

I genuinely wish I had read some of the negative reviews before placing my order.

I spent over £600 with Appliances Direct and paid extra for next-day delivery because I urgently needed a microwave. Instead, I was left at home all day waiting for a delivery that was never going to arrive.

What makes this worse is that the company knew there was a problem. Despite receiving calls from them on the day, nobody informed me that the microwave had been damaged and would not be delivered. I only found out after chasing them myself.

I then spent around 30 minutes on the phone being transferred between departments, left on hold and disconnected. The overseas call centre advised that the UK head office does not take customer calls and that the only option was to wait for a manager to call back within a two-hour time slot. That callback never happened.

I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager and was refused. Once I requested a refund, I was later told that because I was no longer a customer, a manager would not be calling me. Apparently, once they had my money back in my account, they no longer felt the need to address the complaint.

Items can get damaged in transit and mistakes happen. What is far harder to accept is a complete lack of communication, broken promises, no accountability and a refusal to let customers speak to anyone empowered to resolve a complaint.

I submitted a formal complaint by email and, despite this being part of the company's complaints process, I am still waiting for a response. Given the way this matter has been handled so far, I am not confident that I will receive one.

For a company happy to take over £600 from a customer, the after-sales service was shockingly poor. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to think carefully before ordering.
