I had the most horrible experience at Bunnings Bundaberg. Customer service is zero. At Bundaberg the staff do not care. I have always been a long and loyal customer and my business relys on products from Bunnings but since 2018 Bunnings Bundaberg has become a disgrace, lack of staff and products. Then yesterday i was totally disregarded, i sat waiting for 45mins before i dropped everything and left.
Totally dissapointed with the lack of care. The management do not care, not interested in caring and will never take customer service seriously and if you read other reviews this will show the same. I am very distressed from my experience and have lost the will to live. I would rathed die from a horrible firey death than have to walk into Bunnings Bundaberg again. Bunnings now owes me compensation and i will endure to destroy Bunnings Bundaberg by any means. Shame on you!

Without a doubt the Doncaster Bunnings is a lesser store in the Bunnings universe. First off I visit the pet supplies section. What happened here? It looks a cluster bomb scattered the product range far and wide. I can't find what I want. Where are the allegedly helpful staff - all in the cafe having a peaceful coffee together. Uh oh - I need the toilet. What happened here? Did a cow with explosive diarrhea enter the cubicles? All of them are absolutely disgusting, think I'll wait until I get home. Ok we've got most of what I need. Oh no! What's that in the car park? An enormous lump of excrement - was it a Great Dane or a now very relieved human who is now a few kilos lighter. What third world hell have I descended into? The horror, the horror.

I bought some roofing iron to be delivered the next day from Bunnings Carseldine, Brisbane. Was served by a young kid (18 years old?) who had no idea about she was doing. Didn't bother to check if stock was available and if delivery was possible the next day.
Waited all morning the next day, rang and was told no stock so delivery was to be from Virginia the following day. A Sunday. Wow...nice one Bunnings. Also dont bother trying to ring them. No one answers the phone. Took 20 mins before I got an answer and then got transferred for another 10 mins wait.

The Bunnings online purchase experience is appalling. After placing an order I didn’t hear anything from them for a week so followed up via their chat service. They’d cancelled my order but didn’t advise me. Still haven’t received a refund so asked them again when I might receive my money back. Was told up to another 10 days. Buy elsewhere. Not recommended at all.

If I could give Bunnings a MINUS stars, I would. Did you know that they have an internal blacklist. If they don't like you, they will mark you as NO Rehire!! You will NEVER work for them!! I thought that was illegal???

I attended the Frankston Bunnings store late yesterday to buy some pavers and Dean from the garden centre was extremely helpful.He went out of his way to locate the size pavers I was after which were not on the racks. he tracked them down and provided great customer service.
Please ensure that Dean is advised of my appreciation for his service.

Very expensive, if you want to diy, this place is so ridiculously marked considering they say lowest prices on commercial, it's deceiving, i am in bunnings off cowpasture road now, not happy

Today I went to purchase some packing items that have been located in aisle 51 and are being moved to aisle 9. The person doing the work in Asile 51 told me to go and look in aisle 9. I replied I can see what I want can you just pass me on packet of the lables. Answer. NO go and find them in asile 9, off I go, get to aisle 9 and guess what not there. Again asked for assistance and was told to go back to 51 and get the staff member there to assist me. GAVE UP!

Ordered an item from Bunnings Market Place, and so happens they use Aramex delivery service which are the worst couriors in Australia... if you live in a town house or complex STAY AWAY from Bunnings Market Place. On several accasions Aramex has made faulse delivery messeges thats its been delivered... Then they put my sensitive parsel 1 metre away from the curb, which is a hot spot in my area for missing parcels. Every other courior puts it at my front door. Be Worried

Products on shelf’s with no price
Products on shelf’s in wrong spot wrong price this is frustrating especially waiting in line on checkout and to find out the prices is more than what the ticket said on the shelf.
Plenty of staff no one is sorting these issues

Went into Bunnings Northam today and was served by a guy in the trade shed (young, black hair, name starting with N). He was loading the sandbags into the ute and left after putting 3 in. Said another staff member wanted something. They waited outside the trade shed until we had finished putting them in the ute and then came back in smirking because in my opinion he didn't want to load them into the ute. They put the other 3 boards in and walked off laughing. I now have a sore back as they were too heavy to lift by myself and my brother who's disabled and was trying to help using just one hand. They walked off laughing as we drove off. The other staff member has ginger hair. Even if the other staff had of wanted help, he should have finished serving me first as l had already paid and I was first in line. You don't just walk off because you don't want to do your job. Absolutely disgusting service.

Sarah at Arundel gets my 5 star review for her over and above customer service.... she came to my assistance getting 3 x 50L bags of soil on to my trolley, wheeling it to the checkout and then to my car and loading into the boot. So impressive, thank you Sarah

Generally good but the amount of times I go to buy something and it’s out of stock locally is annoying

An item I have purchased was supposed to be delivered today. They said it was to be delivered between the times of 7am to 7pm. They have just called me to tell me they can’t deliver the item and might be able to 2moro, which doesn’t suit me because the concreting that I’m getting done 2moro requires the item so they can position it and form it up correctly. Now my concreting will have to be delayed because of this.
Not happy especially after notifying me at 3pm today. I have wasted my entire day waiting on this item.
Very poor service and recommend you go elsewhere.👎

Great for both in store shopping and delivery. Has everything. Much more than a hardware shop. Always arrives fast.

I bought two skylights a week ago. I got an order confirmation for one but have heard nothing about the other one. I have sent multiple emails to customersupport,bunnings.com.au. over the entire week about them but had no reply. I tried the online chat. One time I had to wait for an sms that never arrived. The second time I chatted with Bunnings Virtual Assistant Transferring you to a Team Member who will be able to assist you...

I contacted the sms today to say I wanted to pick them up tomorrow (tuesday) instead. I got an sms saying to ring them. When I rang them I spoke to Phil who didnt know anything about anything. I then got handballed to Matt who also didnt know anything and then proclaimed the reason I had to call them was to remind me to pick them up. I told him about the multiple emails to customersupport.bunnings.com.au and got blank replies in response. I then told him I was coming to pick them both up tomorrow. Now it seems they havent even ordered them. It has been a week. Matt then tried to tell me I ordered one on the weekend. I ordered them both last week. I dont need somebody who doesnt know anything about anything telling me when I placed the orders. They were both ordered on the 10th of March 2026. Apparently I have to wait for a call tomorrow to find out what is happening. Why? I have been chasing these orders up for a week and nobody has contacted me. I told him I was going to make a complaint. I looked online and complaints are made to customersupport.bunnings.com.au. One can only imagine how successful that process is going to be. I havent even had a reply from them for the emails I sent last week. It is as if Bunnings goes out of their way to provide even worse customer service every time I interact with them. NOTE - they took the money out of my account promptly.

Furthermore, Matt also had the imprudence to tell me the reason nobody knows anything is because I rang out of hours. I rang when the SMS told me to ring. I have been following this up for a week. Matt needs to start taking some responsibility and stop trying to tell me when I placed orders and how everything is my fault. I placed both these orders on the 10th of March and do not appreciate his blame-shifting antics when I contact Bunnings a week later.

Today is Sunday, but it could be any day. We have attempted to ring all three Bunnings stores here in Canberra but staff refuse to answer their phones. Very frustrating. Huge company profits but little or no customer service by Bunnings.

Made a purchase late yesterday, online with a gift card. Was for a Makita drill which is on special for only another 6 days and while stocks last. Website says low stock. Also paid for a Makita hedge trimmer. After purchase, said THANK YOU FOR ORDER. WHICH GENERALLY MEANS, payment has been made. 24 hrs later still no confirmation so ring store. No order on their records, nor with customer service. So thinking I had made a mistake, went to buy items online again, but no, Gift card is $441 short, which was paid yesterday. Have now been told it could take days for money to be reimbursed into gift card. Asked can we pay for items before missing out on sale item and then Bunnings reimburse into our account not gift card. NO, that can't be done either. Conclusion,.... after a number of phone calls, cannot even be told how long it will take to get a reply on exact time frame for money to be put back into gift card. And girl was annoyed because I wanted that answer. Asked could that store hold those items till Bunnings decide to reimburse our gift card, NO,.... that can't be done either. Christ Bunnings, not much you want to help with when your site is at fault. Bunnings, you have left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Ordered a very simply laundry with great customer service. After care however has been absolutely atrocious. Took 7 days for me to be able to just organise delivery, took 1 visit in, 5 phone calls with no one replying or answers the phone in the store, & an ignored email. When they finally delivered (taking the day off work as it was raining badly & didnt want items left out in the rain), it was missing 2 items & one cupboard piece came in the wrong colour. Went in store once again & addressed it, was told it would be delivered the next day. It wasn’t, was sent a message of a ‘attempt delivery’ which was photos of not our items on a truck in a Bunnings store~ not at our house. My husband was home (took day off AGAIN) & it was not even attempted at our home. Pure lie. So I went in store yet again today to sort it out to be told 2 items will be delivered tomorrow (still no text from delivery company) & the wrong colour cupboard item will go as a ‘special order’ & take ANOTHER 2 damn weeks to arrive. So this 2-3 week laundry could now be close to 7 weeks.
We have cancelled our trades twice now, taken 2 days off work & still no completed order. And honestly each time I speak to someone they have barely been apologetic AT ALL. Bunnings were great to start with, got our payment & now do not care at all. This has been an incredibly terrible service, only wish we had gone with another company. Certainly not using Bunnings Burleigh again for something like this ever again.
