I was introduced to Brookson Financial’s in-house mortgage team, and my broker was Nick Nijjar. My situation was quite unique — I was self-employed, transitioning to a limited company, relocating to a new area, and had several additional factors that made securing a mortgage far from straightforward.
Nick was more than up for the challenge. Despite several mortgage application rejections along the way, he remained determined and ultimately found the perfect lender for me.
It truly was a journey and very touch-and-go at times, but Nick and his team were consistently attentive, supportive, and extremely responsive with communication. They were always at the end of the phone, replying to emails quickly, and ensuring everything was thoroughly explained.
As a first-time buyer, the process was understandably daunting, but Nick guided me through every step with professionalism and reassurance. I genuinely would not have the keys to my home today if it weren’t for Nick.

Shambolic. From calculating my income tax figures incorrectly and taking 6 months to sort it out, to taking over a month to respond to a simple enquiry and then again only when chased.
Avoid this company at all costs.
