Poor fit
We ordered a versa liner for our car boot. We ordered the correct car model, however the item does not fit properly - it is too wide at the inside across behind the rear seats. This model of car has a metal clip on each side of the back seat and if they are protruding the fit is even worse. We are going to have to cut holes to allow the clips to be used. I feel this should have been allowed for. When we reported this to the company they were less than helpful suggesting using the velcro for a better fit. We sent photos and they did reply however no -one picked up the phone to discuss. Not pleased and this was an expensive item. I have seen a better fit in other car models so I believe ours was not made properly. Very disappointed. I gave up contacting them as it would have been too difficult to return and costly> I suspect they know this. I shall not be recommending this product to my doggy friends.

Our phone lines are open Monday - Friday but a few attempts may be necessary during busy periods. We are very sorry that our lines were tied up at the time.
With regard to returning unwanted items, we include a returns form with the order and provide all courier info to do so. The return process is very simple and easy. This option to return an order is open to all customers who wish to return an order for any reason.

I have purchased 5 items over the years, great to get free posting on last order. I think my previous boot bumper guards were slightly sturdier but still a robust product.

Boot Buddy Tesla model Y (2025) - mixed opinions
Kind of mixed opinions on this one. The fit itself is actually incredibly good, my problem with it is the Velcro supplied didn’t hold up for even one journey, the split floor design to allow access to under floor storage is a good idea but leaves several spaces for dog fur to fall through and one of my dogs legs even got trapped between one of the side pieces and the floor piece, leaving her with a small cut on her leg. I also think the price point for this product even without the expensive extras is too high.
Overall I think there is a lot of potential for this product to be excellent, it just needs some refinement.

We’re glad to hear that you were happy with the fit of the product, but we’re sorry to learn about the issues you encountered with the Velcro and the split floor design. Your dog’s safety is very important to us. We have never encountered this issue before and we always recommend one of our Anti-Slip mats which would cover the floor gap. In fact, this model is one of our best sellers and one of the models our customers love the fit of most. We are sorry to hear that this was not the case for you.
We appreciate your comments about the price point, but we do feel that our products are competitively priced when compared to what else is on the market.
Customer feedback helps us improve, and we’ll be passing this along to our design team.

Great fit and really practical.
We have a dog that enjoys muddy walks and moults a lot and the rigid sides of the boot buddy mean no slippage so any mess is contained.
We've had 3 boot liners over the years but this one is by far the best.

A brilliant bit of kit
A brilliant bit of kit. They really do save the back of your car looking like a kennel, and if it does get muddy just take it out and hose it down! I’ve had them in my last 2 cars now and admittedly for the second I just cut it in half and taped it back together so it fit the new car. New car now though so time for a new buddy.

I booked an appointment to have my Boot Buddy modified slightly. From the first contact, consultation and fitting everything was faultless.

Although it didn’t work for my model of car I would deal with this company in a heart beat as the customer service was 10/10.

Excellent quality product and kind staff
The staff were so lovely and offered me a design that wasn’t available on the website yet, made the car guard whilst I waited and kept me updated throughout. The guard is exceptionally high quality and is very sturdy in the car. Can’t recommend boot buddy enough, thank you!

Great Service
They were really particular with the fitting, making sure that it fitted perfectly. Friendly and professional, I would recommend them to anyone who has a dog, though it would probably help with a fair few other things needing to be shoved into the boot.
