I just booked my trip on the Okavango Experience through Bookmundi, and so far the communication has been great. Booking was easy and Maria has been great and helpful to work with.

Anna has been so helpful, detailed and patient with my multitude of questions ranging from voucher check with tour companies, extra nights, upgrades, which tour to choose... Honestly, she has made is so easy for me and I felt like she was my personal travel advisor from the level of service she gave.

My experience has been great so far! Anna has responded promptly to all emails addressing any questions I've had. I feel excited and confident about the upcoming trip with this group as a result of the consistence service I've received with booking and the prompt responses to concerns and questions I've posed.

I was very pleased with the services offered by Bookmundi in organizing and executing participation in a small group tour of South Korea. Our joint itinerary spanned nine days and encompassed the cultural, historical and gastronomical highlights of this charming country. I particularly appreciated the fact that colleagues in the Copenhagen office kept me abreast of itinerary changes, and checked with the hotels we would use for allergy issues. This all went without a hitch.
Our local guide, Nick Hong, was energetic, cheerful and full of good suggestions when it came to planning ad hoc meals and activities. Moreover, at 71, I was the oldest group member by far but had the stamina and interest to keep up with the daily pace and enjoy what I was seeing/experiencing.
The local tour operator was Intrepid, and they appeared quite known in the Korean tourism market.
Overall I had a great time. Small groups (we were ten) are easy to accommodate, to make social contacts and share experiences. Ours was cross-cultural and cross-generational; my fellow travelers were lovely interesting people.

This is our first time using Bookmundi. We had not heard about them previously, nor had our friends, and had some concerns, but the itinerary the Sept. timing and price were what we were looking for. There were several issues initially. Though we had requested a room for 2 people, somehow it came back as sharing with a third party. That was simply not acceptable. Our Customer Service Agent, Anna, was very helpful and apologized for the error another booking agent (for Asia) had made. Then we were told that the hotel in London was not available for the 2 of us and we would have to make our own arrangements to lodge elsewhere. Additionally the tour would be shortened to just 8 days tour ( for a discounted price) . Again, this was not acceptable and we were extremely disappointed, dismayed actually. We booked the trip because of the convenience if offered for making hotel arrangements, now it was inconvenient. However, throughout this Anna responded to our concerns promptly and indeed, ultimately the tour company moved the hotel for the tour so that all the guests would be together. She apologized for the confusion and offered us a small compensation. So far, it has not been without glitches, glitches that frankly should not have occured, but they have been resolved and hopefully things will go smoothly from this point on. We look forward to our trip.

This company is incredibly helpful and responsive to inquiries. I cannot recommend them enough. One of the members in our group needed to back out and apply for travel insurance benefits. James Harrison was so very helpful and went above and beyond to provide the documentation that was required. Fantastic!!

I have talked with others who booked with similar companies as this, and from their feedback I had the impression that I was responsible for getting myself to where the vacation location started and back home from where it ended. I thought that all transportation to the tours that were booked through Bookmundi as well as from the airport/ train to the hotels they booked would be provided. I paid $285 in travel expenses to get to hotels and tour locations plus another $160 to check 2 bags on 2 separate flights while here. This is my first trip in Europe so I did not want the stress of having to figure out how to get around. Unfortunately, it was very hard having to do so and I did not look forward to finding my way to each hotel from the airport or each tour location. I reviewed the trip I booked and certainly got the impression that I just had to get myself there and home. I suggest asking questions to be sure of what you are required to do on your end for any trip you are interested in. They give instructions on how to get to different locations, but they are hard to understand. All that being said I still would have given Bookmundi a 4 star review because of not asking questions or getting clarification on my end and accept blame for that. Most of the hotels they booked were really nice, and many of the guided tours were great. The reason I am giving a 1 star review is because I hate being lied to and that was done on 4 separate occasions on this trip. First, their website said I would be able to view Paris from the top of the Eiffel tower but Bookmundi did not include that with their tour. Second, they did not provide a walking tour in Paris. Third, they did not provide a walking tour in Rome. Both of which are stated to be included with the trip. They arranged for the tours, but I was shocked when the tour guide in Paris told me I was supposed to pay them. Seriously, they booked a walking tour that you have to pay for after you are done. No excuse for that poor business decision. Fourth, they did not provide a "romantic" gondola boat ride. My wife and I had to sit across from each other on a Gondola with other people riding with us. That was one part of our trip that we were really looking forward to, but did not get. To finish off our trip I am surprised that Bookmundi scheduled the flight to our last destination to have us get to the hotel room close to 1:00am with a tour scheduled 8 hours later. Wish we would have been scheduled to get more sleep than 5 hours sleep while on vacation. All in all I tried to be positive, but disappointed at the amount we paid, and the product we received.

Bookmundi did reach out to try and resolve the problems I had. I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars for their efforts. I noticed the package I booked is not available right now. I'm assuming they are trying to address the issues I had before selling it to others. That is good business.

About 14 of us from Malaysia, all seniors above 60 booked the Europe : East To West tour for 21 days with Europamundo, via BOOKMUNDI. Right from the start, all of us were extremely impressed by the rapid responses, knowledgeable feedback and helpful guidance and suggestions by Bookmundi, especially James. Special mention is deserved by and reserved for James , who was courteous , quick to understand and solve all queries by my group.
During our tour, I also realised that having Bookmundi as my Booking Agent was a blessing, compared to others who had booked with other agents or even directly with Europamundo, as all my requests and needs were already informed to the tour organiser by Bookmundi, and there was no haggling or negotiating with the Guide , etc.
Once again, kudos and thanks to Bookmundi. In future, my first choice for tour bookings.

Wanted to thank James and Bookmundi for an extraordinary help with my old vouchers. Without their support and persistence I would not have a wonderful opportunity to travel to my new dream place!

In the process of going to Bhutan within the next month and very concerned when the tour operator was not responding to my email. I was anxious that my visa wouldn’t be arranged in time for entry to the country. An email to Bookmundi resolved the issue immediately when they contacted the tour company who replied promptly when they were alerted ( they didn’t get my email ). Thank you Peter, from Bookmundi, for your concern and excellent service to resolve this issue. To be honest, your quick resolution of this problem, exceeded my expectations.

My experience with Bookmundi and James in particular has been very positive. He came to my aid when we ran into a couple of glitches in the most calming and friendly way. He has been kind, thoughtful and quick in his responses. No issue seems too big or too small for him to respond in a very helpful way.

From the start of my enquires on 22/2 to current, James has been exceptionally fantastic to helping me resolve all my numerous questions.
He is very prompt and nothing is a bother for him.
I applaud him on this excellent customer service. Well done James!!

I emailed several times about a Bali and Singapore tour. Anna always responded promptly and I have booked my tour! I am hoping my tour will be as excellent.

James Harrison, customer service agent at Bookmundi gave me exactly the information that I was seeking. He replied within minutes, and his email was both complete and professional I will be booking the trip as soon as the dates that I am looking for become available on Bookmundi. I only hope that the customer service during the trip is of the same excellent level as that provided by James at Bookmundi .

It is the first time I have booked a trip on Bookmundi and I had a lot of questions. I have been liaising with James Harrison and he proved to be very helpful in making the booking easy. All my questions were answered very promptly and he offered great support and customer service. I also made request to defer the remaining payment to another future date and inquire about cost of All Optional Tours during the trip, which he responded very quickly and positively. I am very happy with the service provided, the quality of the responses and surely recommend Bookmundi to any future travellers.

Due to circumstances I am not able to do a 15 day hike that we booked. Peter was very understanding and quickly helped us with the refund of our downpayment.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I will definitely never use Bookmundi for a trip again. Their company is unorganized and their customer service team is horrible to work with. Make the smart decision and book your travel with a different company.

Here's my experience: I went to South Korea last July and now 7 months later, I get an email from Bookmundi saying they were pursuing legal action for a bill of $300 for a transfer in South Korea. I paid the entirety of the trip and that $300 dollars was never on there. I reached out multiple times via email before and during my tour to confirm this transfer and ask how to pay it since it was never added to the bill. I asked my tour director and the driver and nobody could answer my question. Now 7 months later they realized their mistake and want the money and are saying they are going to pursue legal action if it was not paid. I paid it right away, but this invoice should have never been sent because it was their mistake, let alone say they are pursuing legal action against me. Bookmundi customer service you can definitely do better than this.
