Fab make up
I booked the experience last minute through the app. I was really pleased with the make up that Manabu did for an event. He was a total professional. He came to the hotel I was staying in which made it very easy.
(The only reason this isn't 5 is that the pricing wasn't as clear as it could have been. I wanted to book hair and make up as a combo and was only able to book makeup which then impacted the price after the booking.)

Great Haircut at Home
The pro was on time and after the initial consultation we got cutting. Ruby was checking in with me to see how I liked the cut and if anything else I would have liked to get done. The service was quick and efficient without feeling rushed and for the first time I liked my cut right after it was done!

Booked to have my hair curled
Booked to have my hair curled - i have had this done many times before - no styling product was used and i was told i did not need it - stylist later lied and said she did - she was curling my hair for one hour 40 minutes and in the end i had to tell her to stop. Curls dropped straight away and my hair was burned - it still smells. Was offered credit note.

Great therapists, very bad App
My therapist (Laura) was incredible. Clean, professional and efficient.
On the other hand the app works very badly.
I wanted to chat to my therapist to give her direction to enter the building, impossible.
I wanted to call her,
Impossible.
I wanted to chat with customer services, impossible.
The app has so many bugs it’s really negative for the business.

If I could give zero stars I would.
My appointment was at 1.30pm. I received a notification at 1.35pm to say that the stylist was on her way. I tried contacting her but she didn't reply to my messages through the app. I contacted customer service, someone replied to say they have tried to contact the stylist and then despite me trying to contact customer service again, no-one replied to me or reached out to let me know the stylist wasn't coming.
I waited around for ages and was devastated to have to turn up to a party without having my hair done.
This company is unreliable. I have tried to contact them since but my emails have bounced back. There has been no communication as to how I am to receive a refund and the booking has been deleted from the app.
It seems Blow Ltd only respond when they receive a bad review through Trustpilot. Shame on them for offering such a shoddy and unreliable service.
I would tell everyone not to rely on this company-if you have an event and need someone who is guaranteed to turn up, find another company.
As an update on 7/12/22

May I ask why I was able to be in touch with a representative while I was waiting for the stylist to show up if your emails weren’t working? She replied to me to say she was looking in to it but then never responded. She could have at least messaged or called to let me know not to wait around for the stylist to arrive.
In addition to this, the stylist updated the app to say that she was on the way to the appointment. If she was so ill, yet managed to tell me she was on the way, surely she could have cancelled the appointment instead.
I think the response given is a template that Blow use to reply to every complaint on Trustpilot.
Also-
I have yet to receive a refund. Which is disappointing but I’m not at all surprised.

I was to sincerely apologise for the miscommunication with you about your booking. We had issues with our email and call system on the 28th and 29th which meant we missed emails and calls. I'm so sorry this happened and please be reassured this has now been fixed.
A member of our customer delight team has responded to you last week to resolve, so please email us at customerservice@blowltd.co.uk if you didn't receive this.
Please also be assured that we have followed up with the professional, who unfortunately was very unwell, to ensure the correct processes are followed when informing us of any cancellations.
Once again, please accept my apologies for your experience and I am so sorry we couldn't help you on your night out.
UPDATE 7/12: Thank you for your reply Esther, I have emailed you from our customer service email to follow up with you, as our refund was processed on the 30th November.
I can also see that we had emailed you on the 27th with an update, however didn't receive a reply back so assumed the professional had arrived. This was during the time we starting having issues with our emails, so I'm sorry if you didn't receive this or replied and we never received that.

Easy to book. Service depends on the stylist. Had a fantastic experience and below average experience with a stylist turning up late, rushed and not a great result. Worth trying so that you can find a good stylist to rebook but wouldn’t risk on a big event
