We used Birchall Blackburn for the sale and purchase of our home when we moved. They gave us an excellent, seamless services, communicating well. The online system worked very well but the Birchall Team we also very good at communicating directly where there was a query that need resolving. highly recommended and I would use this firm again. I had excellent support in buying my house while other parties were making it difficult. Responses were clear and accurate and I was very confident everything was being chased to support me through a very stressful process. I highly recommend. They also helped me writing a will. Having lost my partner to cancer and the hassle of not having something clear to support, I needed to ensure I made this process crystal clear and this was established through good communication.

The conveyancing team at Birchall Blackburn Law were extremely helpful during our sale process. (we had never sold a property before!)

Susan Liver and jemma hampson took on my claim for clinical negligence 3 years ago for delayed quadriceps tendon repair not getting mri scan after 6 weeks after accident so I suffered over I year then when I did get mri scan I had quadricep tear which was delayed so they took my case on fighting all the way to defendants nhs I had enough evidence they ended up owning up to liberty then I was compensated off them 2 months ago thanks to birchall blackburn law Mr rossiter.

Slow service, use of big words rather than actually explaining things, they will not answer the phones and slow down the whole process and then whack on extra charges that would have been unforrseen, i would not reccomend this company to anyone. would not trust them as far as i can throw them

Buying property for first time in ages. Initial trepidation quelled immediately. All aspects of purchasing process handled expeditiously and all communication was clear and concise. Highly recommend.

I’ve used Birchall Blackburn Preston three times now, and this is the second time I’ve used Hanna. Once again, the service has been excellent from start to finish. Hannah is always professional, approachable, and incredibly efficient. Any enquiries I had were answered quickly, phone calls were always returned, and she was always available to help and explain things clearly throughout the process.
It’s so reassuring to deal with someone who genuinely keeps on top of everything and makes what can often be a stressful process feel much smoother. Hannah is also a lovely person to deal with, which makes a huge difference.
I’d also like to mention her assistant, Ellie, who was equally helpful and always quick to respond to messages and queries.

Jessica carefully led me through the process and cheerfully took into account my concerns about clarity. She guided me through making several changes which better represented my wishes and and I am extremely happy with the result.

Like quite a few others have said, this firm or at least the team I was given are very poor.

We are unfortunately still in the process of purchasing a home using this firm, no chain either side and we are now over 14 weeks. Funny thing is, if they were a professional firm then they would want to be paid quickly so therefore do the work quickly, clearly not the case with these guys.
Asking for extra ID checks when they have all be done and cleared 2 months before, asking for bank statements again even after providing these on 3 seperate occasions.
Communication is laughable.
Halifax recommended this firm and it was not the cheapest but had high scores, I have since told Halifax to take this firm off as quickly as they can before they really damage Halifax’s brand reputation.
I would be very happy to talk to a team member after this review but I would guess they will be ignored too.

Gave the buyers the impression that I had pulled out of the sale of my property when I hadn't. By the time I found out, it was too late, and the sale fell through. I wouldn't recommend them. There was also information given to them that wasn't added to my file, which caused serious issues when it came to exchange. All under the guise of protecting me which was incorrect. As an update (21st May), I have provided my information through Trustpilot to confirm I am a customer. I received a call, called back, and left a message, but have not heard back.
