Had to share my current ongoing experience with this awful company in the hope it saves at least one person being subjected to the same torture.
Purchased a Ford Kuga at over £16k within a week the door failed due to bad spot welds on the catch. Quick google shows it's a common fault and Ford US have recalled all affected vehicles and fixed them FOC. Ford EU haven't done the same meaning owners are being stung with the cost of a new door. Whilst on the Ford website we discover the Kuga is also subject to a recall on the battery and is not to be charged past 80%. We purchased the vehicle for the 40 mile EV range so obviously that's another problem. Losing 20% (8 Miles) of that is not how the car was sold to us. CLEAR REJECTION.
None of the above is Big Motoring World's fault, they get the cars at auction and send them out in large volumes so obviously some vehicles will have issues. I accept that.
HOWEVER the customer service we have received from them is nothing short of astounding. 3 weeks later and we are still being subjected to a complete lack of responsibility from anyone within the company. This is a simple consumer rights 30 day rejection however we still have a car we can't use on the drive and no end in sight. Soon I will have to contact the Motor Ombudsman which will force them to accept the rejection but will drag out this process even further.
Long story short, the cars are cheap but just hope you don't have any issues or their "Big Assist" hold music will haunt you in your sleep! They will continually pass you around departments and tell you there is nothing they can do to help. Even in a simple case like this.
Our case is now on the desk on the rejections manager but apparently she has such a backlog it could take weeks for her to approve it. When I told them I would be calling every day to check for progress they told me it would go to the bottom of the pile each time! ASTOUNDING!!
We are of ageing years and the stress this has caused is unfathomable. BMW sort out your customer service or you will soon be out of business.

Purchased a new car at the Sheffield dealership, and from start to finish everyone who we dealt with was helpful and ensured that every option was explored before deciding on a new vehicle. The sales representative Josh was a huge help throughout the process, and because of his help on the first visit, more than encouraged us to return for the second visit and to complete the sale.

I recently bought a car for cash from this company in Sheffield and was dealt with in a proficient manner by the Sales Executive Mohammed who spent a lot of time with us during the process.
Even more time was spent trying to sell us products that I didn't want but that was what the salesperson had to do on behalf of the company.I left my deposit and returned 2 days later to complete the transaction which went smoothly. I was dealt with on this occasion by Lucelia a Handover Advisor who was very professional and dealt with me quickly and efficiently and I was able to be on my way within 40 minutes.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Mohammed and Lucelia for the professional way they dealt with the transaction.

This is my 2nd review with still no solution. 5 garages later, 4 diagnostic reports last 2 saying the same thing car needs a new engine. This has been going on for nearly 2 months now and no resolve, have been waiting since last Wednesday for and update as to what happens now, every phone call we are still reviewing it. Not acceptable at all, have asked numerous times to speak to a manager only to be told it dosen't warrant speaking to one. You try driving an unsafe car because it's your only mode of transport to work knowing the car could stop at any moment, oil consumption ridiculous check oil light on every other day. Full warranty but unable to get courtesy car as a garage needs to diagnose the problem, 5 garages all different towns/citys telling them the same thing. Awful awful service either fix or replace car it's that simple at this point.
I got a reply from the last review, my details haven't changed.
Update this morning still under review even though new parts will cost more than the car!!
Not sure why it's taking so long for someone to make the right decision to replace the car.

Very disappointed with my experience purchasing a car from Big Motoring World Sheffield.
I collected the vehicle on Wednesday and drove it home without issue. The following day, after being driven for only a couple of minutes, an engine fault warning appeared and the car went into limp mode. We were barely able to get it home.
We contacted Big Motoring World immediately and were referred to Big Assist, who arranged for the RAC to attend. Diagnostic checks by the RAC and and checks by our own garage identified several faults on the vehicle.
This experience has completely shaken my confidence in the car, particularly as we were assured that it had passed a 200-point inspection and had an excellent service history. Having a vehicle develop serious issues almost immediately after purchase is extremely upsetting and has caused a great deal of inconvenience and stress.
I am now pursuing my right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and am awaiting a response from the company who don't seem to care that I have been without a car for over a week. There has been no offer of a courtesy car or any form of compensation for our inconvenience and nobody seems in a rush to help as they work through their ticketing system at a leisurely pace.
Update: Following my original 1-star review, Big Motoring World contacted me very quickly and accepted my request to reject the vehicle. The car was returned the following day, which I appreciate.
However, I am still waiting for my refund. I have been told it could take up to 14 days for the money to be returned, despite the vehicle already being back in their possession.
Unfortunately, this means the inconvenience is continuing. My family has been left without a reliable car, and with two young children this has had a significant impact on our day-to-day lives. I have already found a replacement vehicle, but I am unable to even place a deposit to reserve it because my money is still tied up with Big Motoring World.
I hope the refund is processed as quickly as possible so this matter can finally be resolved. I will update this review again once the refund has been received.

I had a great experience with the team at Big Motoring World Sheffield. From start to finish, the whole process was straightforward and hassle-free, and I was able to drive the car away the very next day.
Jibran was excellent throughout - friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood all the options available and where the best value for money was.
The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the final preparation of the car before collection. When I picked it up, I noticed the centre console still had a black, oil-like residue on it, and the TPMS warning light, which we'd asked to be checked the previous day, also needed resetting again. To their credit, both issues were dealt with immediately without any fuss.
However, after getting the car home and having a closer look, I noticed the final detailing wasn't quite to the standard I'd expected. There were a few minor dirt spots, some streaks from washing, polish residue on one of the wheel hubs, and the speedometer display was still a little dusty. None of these were major issues, but a more thorough final valet and quality check would have made the experience a full five stars.
Overall, I'd definitely buy from Big Motoring World Sheffield again. The sales experience and customer service were excellent, and with a little more attention to the final preparation of the vehicle, it would have been perfect.

Whatever happened to the good old days when you went to garages, and on the car they clearly displayed the Price, age year and mileage?, now you have to faff about and scan each car just to find out how much it is, put the price on the window and save everybody's time, instead of this messing about scanning everything just to find out its not in your price range, its a complete wast of time and i wouldn't be rushing back any time soon..
