Their website states they will deliver from 1-5pm. I got an email stating it will be 1-4pm. I got a text stating it will be 2-6pm, following that I got another text stating it will be from 2-8pm. I called their customer service and they gave me another number to call. The person on that 2nd number stated they work 2-6pm, They do not work 1pm. All these messages came on the same exact day.
I work two jobs. I might not be here to open the door if they come outside of the negotiated time frame.
The website is literally lying and being deceptive. They do not operate at 1pm and shipment can arrive as late as 8pm, according to their own messages.
If I knew I would be forced to participate in this drama, I would have gladly gone to another company.

Delivery
Delivery. So I ordered this couch on Thursday and paid for delivery which was scheduled to be on this past Saturday between 8am-8pm. Was supposed to get a call on Friday to schedule a time for delivery, that never happened. I went ahead and planned to be home that whole day through the time period, since I had no idea when they would come or if they will even contact. So reached out to customer service at about 2pm that day, and was transferred to the delivery company which then said it would be deliverd tomorrow (Sunday the 21st) between 10-2pm. Another day where I just waited the time frame just in case they came, and just like the previous day there was no delivery and at this point that is crazy. You would think that when a person spends nearly $1000 on a couch. that the customer service would be great and that was not the case. This is probably the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever recieved when ordering furniture. It was almost like they didn't want to deliver and could care less about the customers time and lacking what they are supposed to be doing for their job. Now it's Monday, 5 days after ordering and no delivery nor update. It's crazy that when you pay the $100 for delivery online, and NOTHING has happened. I will make sure to never recommend Big Lots to anyone and will make sure that my story will be shared on all social media platforms, yelp, and whatever else I can find to leave customer feedback for.
NO SAME DAY DELIVERY
Whew!! Where do I start? I placed an order selected same day delivery on April 11th and I am just receiving my furniture today April 14th. While I was ordering, I was on the phone with an associate from the store and she told me that if they have the merchandise in store (which they did), I will be able to get same day delivery. That was a total lie. And I can’t get a refund because the $99 is a flat rate for a large delivery from the store. Had I have known that I would not be able to do same-day delivery I would NOT have paid the extra $99 for the furniture to be delivered. I would have just ordered from a different store. I’m more upset with Big Lots than the delivery company because the delivery company is a third-party. Big Lots have misleading information on their website about delivery. So if you want furniture delivered the same day DO NOT buy from Big Lots.

Went to store to purchase product that was on sale...it did not ring sale price. I pulled up the online ad...manager and cashier refused to honor the sale. They told me to go to my car and purchase...furious I went home. I was going to order for delivery but they were in stock at store. I placed a curbside pick up for same item. Still waiting for pick up, over 5 hrs, store is now closed...

Roseville location off Pleasant Grove Blvd, CA--It is very irritating when there are more than 3 people in line, one Cashier and the wait is more than 15 minutes! After 15 minutes in line, customers should walk-out an never return to specific locations. From a professional's point-of-view, I really blame this on management NOT knowing how to manage their store-correctly. Corporate needs to revamp all their management representatives instead of sitting behind a desk. I been there, I know what management do. Im semi-retired, been there. Thank you. There are A LOT OF People out there that need jobs, why dont they hire?? Especially on the weekends and holidays where Management should already know its a legit prediction that customers will frequent stores (retail specifically) This is not good -- stores will lose customers. "Customers walk&talk." Recently, there's been a few stores closed. IF Big Lots cant manage their customers, its time for a "Management sweep." There are other stores that make efforts to help their "customer traffic" stay neutral and make their customers feel welcome at all times. Receiving help so quickly in this store was a great experience. Art listened to me when I was describing what I was looking for and he found it quick!! It was a chair side table. He was very professional and courteous. He put the box in the shopping cart since I couldn’t do it due to hand surgery.

Wife and I went there to see about buying a tv entertainment center which she had called prior to us making the trip and was told that there was 1 in stock.
When we got there,we went to the furniture dept. We walked to the other end where there were employees standing around talking but ignored us. My wife went up to one of the employee's and asked about the item. The employee "barked" at telling her they were at the other end and left the area. We went to that area and there was no one to help us. So , I took the item ticket to the front cashiers and the same one that had barked at the wife started talking in a disrespectful way to me trying to talk down on me stating: we don't take care of that up here. I told him that, there was no one in the furniture area so I brought the tag to the register-this person tried to argue his point that they were short handed. Maybe he should spend more time taking care of cusomer's instead of goofing off with the other employees. This happened around 5:30pm on Saturday 01/21/2023 in case someone higher up with Big Lots would like to investigate.
Big Lots will never get business from myself again.

If you’re looking to save time and money, then big lots on 955 Sepulveda Blvd. is not the place to shop. Went into the store to look at furniture and found a couch I was interested in but no one there to help me nor did anybody offer assistance. Next, I wanted a small carpet for the family room, which there seem to be a variety of different styles but no prices were listed on any of them. Then I pursued to the house, cleaning supplies to replace my mop, and once again most items had no prices listed. Not wanting to be surprised at the cash register. I chose not to purchase any of the items that I sought to buy at the store and left frustrated to purchase those items at target down the street in which I found their prices to be comparable to big lots and better quality. Upon arriving home I went to the big lots website and once again ran into issues. Only the information on the items was available, but no pictures. So I am assuming that there is little interest in them having a fully functional website. The store and Company are struggling to manage their business and put forth the necessary effort to maintain a professional operation and have lost my interest.
Frustrated with Ordering Online
When you shop online, and pickup is the only option; you get multiple stores some as much as an hour away. It is very frustrating. I have seen things I wanted to order, but then the distance is too far to go. Can't they ship to store and let you pick up locally? They are losing a lot of customers, sales and money. I can never find anything locally available. I don't shop this store anymore because of this issue. I would spend thousands over my lifetime. Such a shame they don't need the customers or money.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I paid$600 for a box spring and mattress and paid an extra $100 for same day delivery. The order was placed at 6am. Not only did I get charged for same day delivery and the delivery was scheduled for the next day, the store now says they will not deliver the items. I will not shop at Big Lots again and I am on hold now asking for a full refund. Don't order anything from Big Lots that you need delivered. They are fraudulent.
Update: They did not refund my entire amount. I paid $702.89 and they refunded $652.90. What a rip off!!!!

Ordered online got an email saying it was ready for pickup
Called for curbside pickup they told me they didn't have it I ordered from a different loction I told them I have the email I then read off the address he told me he didn't know the stores address! Had to go into the store my item was there then I was told it hadn't processed even though I had the email. Showed them the email and my bank charge (at was pending)
Still had to pay again! He told me if they charged me twice I could come back for a credit.
2nd time I have had issues with this Big Lot location Tatum and Bell Phx AZ for an online order.
