I was pleasantly surprised just how fast they responded to a query with an order - Thanks Kirsty for great customer service!

Called to order items over the phone,the Technical Department - Chris & Sales Department - Tracy were both extremely helpful in helping a novice get the right items (Chris) and then deal with payment etc., (Tracy), really clear & concise, thanks Guys world definetly recommend you to anyone who has never used you before, thanks again:), Ronan.

Stock showing as available next day. Email sent after order processed with tiny print stating stock not available.

Happy to take money instantly, have to wait days to get money back.

In this day and age not having up to date stock availability is Mickey Mouse, and if this is the case, a simple follow up afterwards would have saved hours of hassle that now follows.

BES Customer Service are the best.

I have four missed deliveries from DX. Four times they said they were coming and four times they didn't.

BEX customer services were relentless in chasing down DX and getting the goods to me in time that I didn't have to stop the job and upset the customer.

Having experienced some difficulties obtaining the correct sized gas valve for a very old compervan I purchased a 6mm valve from BES which arrived, as quoted, the following day. Unfortunately, that too was the wrong item. I called BES to arrange a return and spoke to the Technical Dept (I think it was Kish) who took the time and effort too investigate my issue and provided details of the parts I needed. I was then transferred to returns who were extremely professional and helpful. Finally, I was transferred to sales where Sarah sorted my purchase. The whole experience was one of total appreciation for their efforts assistance. I would whole heartedly recommend BES to anyone. Thank you Sarah, Kish and (Vanessa), sorry if this is the wrong name.

I have been really impressed with the excellent customer service that we have received. We had an issue with the courier delivery and the lady I spoke to was so helpful in trying to resolve the issue.

Excellent customer service with immediate assistance to help resolve my query.

We purchased an Alpha Press gun from BES in 2025. The gun has failed, spitting out all of its oil. I called BES to report this expecting some kind of customer service. I was met with a customer service agents, patronising and condescending approach to problem solving. Whilst giving me a vague idea of a possible call from the manufacturers, then asking if that was ok. My response was to point out that it apart from the fact I had a piece of vital equipment that did not work, yes. This must have offended her in some way, she the proceeded to inform me that it worked when I purchased it. Fantastic piece of deduction. No words in the way of an apology for any inconvenience. BES, its probably time for a refresher in customer service.

Recent rush order, failed to note wrong delivery address on my account.
Kirsty redirected it to my correct address, still arrived on original due date.

Great service. My purchase arrived as promised the next day and within the time slot (as provided by the carrier). The item was well packaged. The invoice was promptly emailed to me without having to request it. Very happy. The product is good quality too. Thank you BES

Every conceivable plumbing component next day. How do they do it? Prices are very fair too. e.g. a fairly standard nylon pipe connector as you would expect, less than 50p, but on famous auction site for £7, everyones favourite online warehouse its £10 and the big retail park DIY store a whopping £15!From now on I am blacklisting all the price gougers and sticking with honest traders like BES.

My central heating expansion tank failed and after going to five local plumbing merchants who all told me i had to order one in i realised why local shops are failing!
So i found BES online and ordered one late yesterday afternoon getting it across country the following morning!
Unbelieveable, a plumbing emergency averted by this company that actually has stock and gets it to you quicker than all the local shops could!
Needless to say they are on my list now of great people with a great company.
The expansion tank was of good quality and at a good price.
Thank you guys you do your company proud.

Great company with a good range of threaded pipe fittings, many of which (such as the black iron fittings) are suitable for use with steam engines or vintage machines.

the only downside is that if only ordering one or two small bits, the postage is very expensive, but if ordering a lot of components or large items, the postage is very reasonable.

Always very helpful and hands on and willing to help!

I bought a 10mm to 1/4 adaptor but they sent out 16mm instead and instead of appologising and refund me they argue about 16mm while I have got the proof as a photo and have already sent them.
