I was apprehensive when I saw the reviews however the price was amazing. I had no issues with delivery at all! It did take a while to come but I was not in a rush for it. I would say if you need something urgently then don't rely on quick delivery time but if you are happy to wait about 5ish days then it was great.

Paid £429 for a “Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire GPS Watch“ on the 16th of June. Delivery was stated as “3-5 days”. One week later the order status is “Not yet dispatched!” Contacted customer service, got a ticket number and ‘We will process your message as soon as possible.“ 3 days after that and still heard nothing from them.

Extremely unhappy!

Update: Bergzeit contacted me to apologise and have said they are dealing with the issue. My order has now been shipped, and I’ve been told to expect it Wednesday/Thursday should all go to plan.

Update 2: Just received watch. Seal to box broken, as if already opened. Watch has damage to inside of screen. Returning.

Very, very poor!

Read the reviews and was a little apprehensive but the savings were too good not to try it out. Ordered a body warmer on Sunday afternoon and my delivery came today. Couldn’t ask for more than that, even if it had been posted from an English company

I saw the bad reviews here before ordering, and did think twice, but the price was much cheaper than anywhere else, so I thought I'd take a risk.

As it turned out, everything worked perfectly - dispatch was prompt, international delivery as fast as could be expected, communications good, and the product (a sleeping bag) was exactly as I ordered.

Rubbish service and delivery. Waiting for 8 days already for a delivery promised in 3-5. DHL tracking shows parcel stuck in Germany for 4 days - Bergzeit don't want to know and I have no idea if I'm going to get the parcel or not. They seem to take your money and forget about you - won't be using them again. Much better online retailers than this - avoid.

Same as most people in here, I was reluctant about getting stuff from them, but my experience was great. Ordered a jacket on a Friday, it got dispatched in the same day and delivered on Tuesday. The jacket itself seems fine, but I do have the option to return it just in case, with a Returns Note in the package. So far so good, though.

Fast and good! After reading some reviews, I was reluctant to order from this Shop but now I'm wondering what all the fuss was about?.My Bergzeit shopping experience couldn't have been better! I ordered a pair of La Sportiva Trango Boots, fast delivery and no hitches at all. I will definetly order from them again, especially because their sale items are good.

I ordered a north face backpack which was delivered within 5 days from Germany. Although a great bag, the bag did not look totally as I expected (there are so many variations and colours in these backpacks) and so I messaged the company on Facebook. They very kindly offered me a 50% refund if I wanted to keep the bag, or I could return it. I chose to receive 50% of my money back which they sent to me via PayPal straight away. Very good customer service and will be shopping here again. Thank you :-)

Order spent a further week in DHL system within Germany.

Dispatched order was recalled by Bergzeit.

Informed Bergzeit of this (as after 3 days they hadn't informed me) and requested further information.

A week later I still haven't received a reply.

Over three weeks after placing order I have not received anything and have not been informed of anything.

UPDATE: Finally heard back, informing me order was still in transit (not recalled). Only to go on to receive a refund 3 days later (suggesting it has been recalled).

WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I placed an order for Marker Griffon Bindings, on confirmation of purchase the delivery address was incorrect!! I have emailed several times to amend this and have had no response. I have also been on phone on HOLD for nearly hour an hour with no answer.

The prices are are NOT worth it, I hope to hear from BERGZEIT very soon to amend this.

Oh dear, I wish I'd read these reviews before I made my order!

I ordered a T3 Rescue Package, which was supposed to include the *new* BCA Tracker 3 transceiver for £304.

The order arrived quickly enough, but did it contain the Tracker 3?

No it did not, it contained the the old discontinued version Tracker DTS !!!!!!! It looked like there was a space for the Tracker 3 in the box & that it had been removed and the Tracker DTS stuffed in (it didn't fit neatly)

I'm returning the box today and asking for a refund.

They make the return process easy enough. You are provided with a return label online so it's easy enough to send the box back to Germany from UK without charge.

I'll update the review when I get a refund or not, whatever the case may be......

They didn't even send me a confirmation email, and they already took the money. 3 emails sent to the customer service and no answer. 3 calls and no answer. Unacceptable

i sent back tomtom adventurer watch which was received on 18th august they still have not refunded or replaced i have sent numerous emails get standard response completely have lost faith with them there is no way i would recommend anyone to use this company. Bergzeit you should be ashamed of your lack of customer service

terrible customer service
send the wrong things , that dont even arrive and then ignore the emails sent . plenty of other mountain equipment companies out there Definitely wont shop here again . Also found the same kit at half the price elsewhere .

I received the wrong short (wrong color and pattern) and I can't reach them ... phone or email, no answer at all !
I ordered two other products which are ok but I still have to figure out how I can get the correct short and return the other one for free... !!

RETURN AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE !!

After 2 weeks from returning my package, I got an email that they "processed it" but I NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK. I got an email that they processed my package upon arrival and... I'm still waiting.
Please be careful, make sure that if you order something, it's the right size and you don't have to return it. I got robbed of 94 pounds !!! :(

Super fast - super support - superb shop:
I have ordered skis, skins and bindings to Slovakia (Slowakei)

Pros:
1.) Before shipping the whole pack Bergzeit came back to me by email asking if I am aware that maybe a different size of binding would fit the skis better.
2.) They have shipped the whole pack 1 day after order and payment - keep in mind also after clarifying the size of bindings.
3.) Shipping from Germany to Slovakia took 3 working days - and I have been ordering over Easter period.
4.) Based on data protection the shop cannot give away phone number - they do not even ask for that. So a courier had a problem to find me as I do not have a name on a door bell. So I have asked lady from Bergzeit support line to help me. She helped me to find out who exactly is delivering my parcel and the problem was solved. Because info email had DHL link to track delivery, but the package was delivered by UPS at the end. :-D Well solved - I had to contact local delivery service to give the m my phone. No problem, but require additional work from customer. :-) I have no problem with than. Law is law.

Cons:
1.) Information email about the shipping and even the Bergzeit pages after you order do not warn you that you should contact the delivery service and give them your telephone. It is because of data protection, so OK.

But it would be good to have such information in the email, so please Bergzeit consider this information ;-)

2.) Calling support line gives you faster problem solving way. Contacting by email or form is ok, but after 2 days of no new information I lost my patience and called the line. It was ringing for 3-4 minutes, but it was worth it.

Conclusion:
Based on my SINGLE experience with this shop, I recommend Bergzeit even when you are ordering from abroad. Great service, super fast (when the item is on stock), very good support.
And I would be happy if this "no phone" problem would be highl ighted in the information email. :-)
