Great service and excellent communication throughout the whole buying and delivery process. Excellent professional staff with a helpful attitude.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from the Bensons for Beds Aylesbury branch.

During the delivery of our bed, the delivery driver named Adam made several rude and insensitive comments that were completely unacceptable. He made a point of saying, “You’re young, you don’t need to sit in bed watching TV, get off your arse.” We found this incredibly hurtful and completely lacking in compassion or professionalism.

When we commented that the bed looked like it would fit in the room, his response was, “I don’t come for your opinion.” This was unnecessarily rude and dismissive.

Following this experience,the bed was taken away. When I called Bensons for Beds to raise my concerns, I was told that I would have to deal with the issue in store and that I would have to pay a cancellation fee. After the way we had been treated, this response was incredibly disappointing and made an already upsetting situation even worse.

No customer should be spoken to in this manner. I expected far better customer service, both from the delivery team and from the company when I contacted them to make a complaint. I hope Bensons for Beds investigates this incident thoroughly and ensures no other customer has to experience this kind of treatment.

I am leaving this review on behalf of a friend who had an absolutely appalling experience with one of your delivery staff members, Adam.

From what they have told me, Adam was rude, dismissive and completely unprofessional throughout the delivery. When they questioned whether the bed could be delivered, he told them he “wasn’t there for opinions”, before deciding the bed wouldn’t fit and taking it back, leaving them with no bed or bedroom furniture.

What is even more shocking is the way he spoke to my friend’s partner, who is currently unwell with cancer. Adam reportedly said, “Get off your arse, you’re young, why are you sitting around watching TV?” This is an utterly disgraceful comment to make to anyone, especially someone whose circumstances you know nothing about.

There is simply no excuse for this level of disrespect. Customer service should never involve speaking to people in such a degrading and insensitive manner. I sincerely hope the company investigates this incident thoroughly and takes appropriate action, as no customer should ever be treated this way.

great customer service, great product, great delivery

In recent months I have bought two products from this company. A mattress and a single divan bed complete with mattress. On both visits the staff have been professional, helpful but without any pressure to buy. The delivery date was met both times with continual updates. Great service.

Absolutely awesome, from in store sales to the delivery crew, it was perfect, I didn't feel pressured in to buying & i didn't feel rushed on delivery, thank you so much for a super easy purchase & delivery

I knew what I was looking for, there was no pressure to look at more expensive options. The mattress I bought was delivered when agreed, I was informed when it was on its way. The delivery team, Stevie and Brian were friendly and efficient, setting the mattress on the bed for me. Only took a few minutes, very pleased with the result.

The mattress was delivered on Monday, nice and early so I didn't have to wait around. Stevie and Brian, the delivery team were friendly and efficient, the whole thing took less than 10 minutes, what a relief!

Overall a really great experience from bensons for beds. The bed and mattress we chose is fantastic quality and very comfortable. In store I was very surprised at the £69 delivery charge after we had spent £2600. The wait time for delivery was almost 2 months. On the delivery day, the 2 guys were really friendly and got the mattress up the stairs no problem, something I was worried about as in store they said the Mammoth AdvancePro extra firm would not bend….it was pretty bendy! The only down side was as the bed frame boxes were too big, they couldn’t take them up stairs and removing everything and the left over boxes was a bit of a challenge. I’ve bought from bensons before and I would again.

Arrived on time and delivered my mattress and took old one away and were very efficient

Greeted straight away, explained a few things for us and we have never brought a mattress before and then left us to it. We tried a few mattresses and he asked if we needed help. We asked a few questions and he left us to it again. We found this super helpful as I'm disabled so it takes a lot of time to try mattresses. At the end we advised him which we liked and he was straight there, he ordered it but also asked if we needed anything else like mattress recycle, mattress protector etc. He also got us a discount on a pillow as it was the last one in the store as it was discontinued and on display.
Bryan was great at the Aylesbury store. He gave us time to go around but also checked in without pressure. When chatting he spoke softly, calmly, answered questions and so pleasant. I didn't feel rushed but didn't feel left to my own devices getting lost and confused. Definitely recommend. Lots of choice as well and plenty of space for someone in a wheelchair to get into the beds to try the various mattresses. 5* service and choice.

Helpful but not pushy sales person in store. Order process was easy with good communication prior to delivery. The delivery guys were polite and efficient. I assembled the bed as I was decorating the bedroom, went together easily, very happy with new bed.

Our experience was excellent. From visiting the showroom, the ordering process through to delivery. Everybody involved was a pleasure to deal with.

Luke, the amazing salesman guided us, with his comprehensive knowledge about all mattresses on sale, into making the right choice, in selecting the mattress that was suitable for us. He gave us information about the mattress that we were interested in, left us for a while to discuss and try out various mattresses, guided us to a different brands within the store, gave us the relevant information about the brand, and then left us for a while to try out the different mattresses. We got helpful, knowledgeable but not overbearing attention in store. On purchase we immediately received our delivery date. Within days we got a 2 hour delivery slot, which remained the same and did not get changed or 'bumped'!
Delivery team were great and phoned the day before and before arrival. They turned up promptly 5 minutes into their expected delivery slot, put the mattress in the room. We immediately thought the mattress looked and felt great quality and my daughter is thrilled with it.

We recently bought a new bed and wardrobe and had a great experience from start to finish. Bryan was extremely helpful and friendly in the Aylesbury store, making the whole process easy and stress-free.

Delivery was just as impressive — Charles & Chichi were professional, careful, and delivered everything to the room of our choice without any fuss.

We went into Bensons for Beds in Aylesbury to have a look, with an eye to buying a new bed if one was good enough. Luke, the manager, from the start was excellent, informative without being pushy. We purchased the bed, which was in no small part down to Luke and his attention to detail and overall customer service. The bed was delivered yesterday, just less than 4 weeks from the order. The overall communication and delivery has been top drawer as well. Emails, texts and phone calls to inform us when the delivery guys would be coming. Charles and his colleague (couldn’t get his name from the card that was left as it has smudged) were lovely, they took out our old bed and put together our new bed with minimum fuss. They were tidy, professional, friendly and courteous. Overall brilliant service and very very happy with our purchase

From showroom to delivery it has been a superb experience .To me Benson sets the standard in customer service.
