Better than 3 * but.....
There was an admin error so I only received half my order, Battery Station remedied the problem immediately and sent the rest of the order the next day.
I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the initial mistake, and delay.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Had a bit of a glitch with my delivery due to a change of warehouse, but when I spoke to Customer Services, they did not faff around, they identified the problem immediately and despatched my order within a few minutes, which I received within 2 working days, even though I only asked for 3-5 day delivery. I would definitely use Battery Station again.

Was terrible - BUT i was Wrong!
After a scathing review, I now change my rating to 5* Great company - totally changed my mind - just spoken to Owner, sorted out my issues, full refund given and a gesture of goodwill. Not his problem, but along the supply chain. Thank you Jamie - and I will be using you in future!

Disastrous deterioration of service quality.
The service from this company has deteriorated disastrously recently. I put in an order on the 30th April. They said they sent it on the first of May. Nothing has been received to date (9th May). They assigned me a "ticket number" on the 7th of May for a missing order, but have not contacted me to say what is going on (despite a 24 hour response target). Just phoned them and the person on the phone has no information whatsoever - just promised to pass on a message.
There is a great opportunity for BatteryStation's competitors to take all their business now, because they appear to have lost any ability to solve problems or look after their customers.

You placed your order on the 30th of April after 10pm at night which is well after our same-day dispatch cut-off of 4pm. So your order was dispatched on Wednesday 1st May on time. You'd selected the Priority Service so we'd expect your order to be delivered on the 2nd or 3rd of May.
However, the courier raised an issue with your address, as your address does not have a building number. Due to the bank holiday we only received this notification on Tuesday 7th and we contacted the courier to rectify the issue with the address. They have since released the parcel for delivery.
I fully apologise for the delay in your order but in this case, we did dispatch it on time. While I'm sure you experience accurate delivery from Royal Mail (as they tend to know addresses best of all), as your order contained lithium batteries, we had no choice but to use a courier. Couriers do not do as well without building numbers and from time to time, flag addresses for verification. The bank holiday compounded the delay further.
In regard to the customer service you received from us, we originally heard from you by phone on Wednesday 9th May at 15.13 (yesterday). The representative you spoke to explained he was going to investigate matters for you which he did, and found that remedial action had already been taken. He was due to reply to you today with an update. All these calls and tickets are logged on our system.
I renew the apology for the inconvenience of the late delivery. We thrive to get orders out on time and delivered quickly. The timescales you have reported in your review are however simply incorrect.

Placed an order and paid extra for next day delivery. No delivery was made and have not received my order at all.
Tried to communicate with them but just get a ticket number and no response.
I will try to get my money back through PAY PAL.
A very poor company.

Have used this company quite a few times and have always received excellent service. Items are exactly as described, priced fairly, and delivered promptly. I always purchase my batteries from BatteryStation as I know that they are reliable and trustworthy, and that my order will be quickly dealt with.

Guaranteed Delivery?!!
I ordered a small quantity of batteries on 3rd December 2018. The order was placed well before their 4pm cut-off so I paid £9.95 for delivery today, 4th December, by midday. It is now almost 3pm and no sign of my delivery. I have tried to contact them twice by phone and email but completely unsuccessful. I am much less than impressed and will be seeking a refund of the delivery charge at the very least.

Prompt delivery but poor after sales care
I ordered three items on 27/9/18 which were all delivered very promptly, which I was very impressed with. However, one item was 'dead on arrival', and I arranged for it to be returned. It would have been easiest for me to send it back in the post, but instead I had to wait for a courier to collect it as BS said the item had to be sent back to the supplier for testing. The first collection did not materialise. It was however collected on Friday 12th October. The replacement eventually arrived on Monday 5th November, after being told that it would arrive from the supplier on Friday 26th October. Overall I believe that I had to initiate a lot of the communications in this transaction, more than I should have had to. I also don't understand why I couldn't have been supplied a replacement item by return, as my contract was with BS and not the item supplier, who BS should have taken up the issue with subsequently.

Dear Customer,
We did actually replace the item ourselves and the manufacturer sent the replacement to us. The actual issue with not returning the items to us in the mail, is that it's illegal to send any used battery by Royal Mail. We send couriers for the faulty products to comply with this. While I understand in this case, the item in question was a charger, the staff simply stuck to procedure when arranging for the item to be collected.
We're sorry for the inconvenience and I'll definitely look at the timescales of things here as you clearly should not have had to wait this long for a resolution.
