I can't recommend Ozlem highly enough
I can't recommend Ozlem highly enough! She recently assisted my mother with her home purchase, and given my mum had no prior experience with such a complex process, Ozlem's support was invaluable. She took the time to patiently explain everything, ensuring my mother felt comfortable and informed throughout. Thanks to Ozlem, what could have been a very stressful experience was remarkably smooth and straightforward.

Left unsupported and vulnerable during urgent safeguarding crisis
I approached Barnes and Partners for help with urgent family court matters involving emotional abuse, coercive control, and safeguarding concerns about my children. Initially, I was advised to pursue a Child Arrangements Order and Non-Molestation Order — I was told this was being prepared and that legal aid was in progress.
Weeks later, after providing detailed evidence and updates, the firm suddenly changed position. I was told not to proceed, and to “wait for the father to apply” instead — despite ongoing disclosures from my children and incidents that had already been raised with the school, Early Help, and other services. No one explained why this happened, and I was left unrepresented at a critical time.
I later found out that the legal aid application was never submitted, and no interim protection was put in place for me or the children. By the time I switched solicitors, I had to start again from scratch, despite already having submitted all the necessary evidence.
I understand delays happen, but the lack of transparency and sudden withdrawal of support during a safeguarding crisis was unacceptable. I felt abandoned and unheard, and this had real emotional consequences for my family.
I do not recommend this firm for complex family matters where child safeguarding and emotional abuse are involved.

Emma Hutton oversaw the sale of our property and the purchase of our new house. She was proactive and always quick to respond to our emails and helped ensure that the whole process was extremely smooth and quick. Proactive and efficient
This is the second time going back to Lauren and Ross at Barnes and Partners - we used them 4 years ago for our house sale and purchase and were so impressed we’ve used them again. I can not recommend Lauren Layton or Ross Layton from Barnes & Partners Enfield enough!!!
Seriously I know people write reviews light heartedly from a great experience, but these 2 people were amazing, they replied to my emails or calls immediately and their work is superfast.
My sale was very complicated and they both dealt with everything from start to finish taking all the stress away from me.
