Be careful of this company. This company unfortunately sends fraudulent letters to solicit business - which can be quite dangerous and cause conflicts with neighbours.
They sent a letter to me alleging that our neighbours are undertaking construction work and hence we should engage their services for PartyWall work (which I neighbours would be obliged to pay work). Completely false marketing and untrustworthy company. Avoid.

I was very impressed with the level of expertise and knowledge of the surveyor Shaun. His survey report was specific, detailed and not full of generic statements. It was clear that Shaun had taken time to consider elements of the property carefully before writing up the report. I found Peter Barry after an extensive and exhaustive online search, and chose to go with them because they had the best reviews, bar none.

I subsequently commissioned a RICS Level 3 Home Survey and was quoted a price of £1,390 + VAT for the survey and estimated cost of repairs.

The survey was not only detailed, but the surveyor Robin called me up after to give me a summary over the phone, and then promptly answered my follow-up questions that helped to put my mind at ease.

It's hands down the best experience I've had in the house buying process, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone wanting a survey.
