Great communication from Tien as the store manager throughout the entire process (rebuilding of my bike due to a broken frame). Very good interaction with Ben (mechanic) - felt was provided with good advice. Ridden the newly built bike twice since and it is working very well .

Bike went in due to an ongoing issue at the bottom bracket
Bike went in due to an ongoing issue. A problem with the motor was diagnosed, and the motor was replaced under warranty.

Gavinb is super helpful
Incredibly helpful staff, especially Gavinb. He was very helpful, very patient with my beginner questions and very informative. I went in there a bit shy because I knew nothing, thanks to the helpful staff, now I have a bike I love. Best shopping experience in London, not just Bikes but in general. Thanks.

Smooth Bike purchase
Excellent service provided on first visit by Herbert to make my purchase then tested bike and was served by Tim made things all clear and pretty straiggtforward.
Collected bike served by Herbert very happy with all advice given woukd recommend these guys to all.

The chain I bought was £3-4 more expensive than a shop in the same road was selling it.

No refund even with reciept
I bought some overshoes from Chiswick branch of Balfes. I couldn't get them over my cycling shoes so went to return them but was refused refund or credit even though I had the receipt because I didn't have the hanger they were on when I bought them. Very disappointing. I won't buy from them again.

Life made easier with a click and collect and very helpful staff in the Chiswick shop.

Excellent service
Excellent service! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Kayode, a mechanic at this shop, managed to fix my bicycle in about 30 minutes, despite my arriving just before closing time. They really put a lot of effort and skills into their service. Thank you, Kayode!
