Called in to the Ingleby store and was assisted by Rich in buying a new putter . Rich was extremely helpful and took the time to understand my needs and fitted me up with a putter that suited me . He also gave very honest views and tips . Definitely 5 star service

Really bad customer service and refund response.

Took 3 months and several e-mails for AG to accept the broken sand wedge I snet back was due to a manufacturing error - now they expect me to send back the whole set (from Denmakr to UK) in order to get a refund/replacement.
Looks like I'll not be playing golf for 3 months!!!!
Get your act together AG - please.

Visited the Milton Keynes store and was greatly surprised by the high quality and well stocked womens section. This is a huge improvement that I hope American Golf will incorporate into other stores. Golf is booming especially amongst women, and we need in store product availability (not just online) Staff (Dave) was incredibly helpful, and I hope to return soon.

Booked a fitting session for new irons with a gentleman called Dave, great service and very helpful, highly recommended

Even one star is a bit rich. Their happy to take your order, take your money. But constantly lie about delivery times, how and when the order is coming. No way of getting in touch with customer service. Absolutely awful service.

Your best bet, is to use them for any measuring or trying a club out, then simply buy it online. I could have had more money for my clubs and bought the new ones for less, but felt I’d use a local business to help promote the area, but really wish I hadn’t.

my experience was one the best I had in an American Golf after some bad ones in other stores if you live in and around Wolverhampton area this is the one to visit as merry hill store is one of the worst as felt by many member at my club. I was served by Clive very knowledgeable and patient man who was more interested in what was best for me and not how much money he could make on that day. This give me more confidence in taking his recommendation in the future which there will me (love new golf gear) Clive will be my go to guy in the future at American Golf. 5 star

One of the worst customer services I have experienced. Went to Swansea branch to ‘get fitted’ for a driver and the guy didn’t talk to me for the whole fitting. Didn’t get any advice or recommendations.

Don’t get irons if you want to wait 2.5 month

I went to the Salisbury store to get a new driver. I was served by Andrew. He was very knowledgeable and gave great advise. Not just about which driver but about my swing and technique. Very happy I with my purchase.

I booked a appointment for custom fit at American Golf in Kettering store.
Got introduced to Jamie Taylor who was going to custom fit me for my new woods and hybrids.
Felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in, tried different makes and models and did not at any time feel pressured to buy the most expensive or rushed.
The process went very smooth, these lads down at American Golf know what they are talking about very professional, and good before and after sales service.
Eventually chose the Taylor Made Sim 2 max driver, 3 wood and two hybrids.
If you ever visit the store in Kettering ask for Jamie Taylor.
Would I recommend to a friend.... Oh dam right I would, I would not go anywhere else they have a indoor simulator and outdoor bays as well.
Good job lads keep up the good work, and can't wait to get my hands on my new clubs and get my handicap lower than what it is at the moment.

Shockingly slow at processing refunds. I have been waiting SO long!! Unacceptable and I won't use this company again.

Ordered a bag on the 14/4/2021.

Multiple updates of sorted at distribution centre with no movement until Sunday 25/4 saying package has been returned to consignor.

No contact from American Golf. I have sent emails to after sales team without response. Online chat has had no one available for the past 2 days.

I have tried calling both Ireland and UK customer services teams. Calls are not being answered.

Incredibly frustrating as I would have it as per website in 5-10 days.

And as mentioned still no response to my emails or call.

I'm based in Ireland. This shop makes it look like it's an EU company (charges Irish VAT rate; has physical stores in Ireland; no mention of customs charges at all on their site; they use .EU in their website address!). Got a customs bill for over 65euro on an order. No response on live chat or to the emails I've sent (2 weeks ago). Shocking behaviour from such an established company. I understand Brexit has changed things but they are obviously aware of the changes and are happy to hide/ignore them and let the customer pick up the extra charges. The lack of response to myself or any of the other customers below is nothing short of shameful! AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS.

Exactly the same problem as those below. Purchased item from the EU website and am now being asked to pay almost €200 in import fees. No response to emails, live chat not working, telephone number constantly engaged! Avoid if it's not too late.

EDIT: This was satisfactorily resolved back in April last year when all fees were refunded. Apologies for not updating the review. Changed to 5 stars, very happy!!

So sad to see American Golf receiving all these bad reviews and my experience is no different. It was bad enough being the victim of a 'systems error' at AG but how long does it actually take to process my refund? One error is just compounded by the other. Come on American Golf, get your act together!

Absolutely shocking I brought an item off Americangolf.eu for €450 to wake up this morning to import charges of €165 absolutely shocking i get nó responce to any of my emails, no communication over the phone. Please do not purchase from this site you open Americangolf.ie but it will auto change to Americangolf.eu I don't order from the UK I ordered it from and Irish site.

What am I ment to do now I paid way more than normal which was €450 turned into €615 and no help from American golf

Also to note nothing on there sites about brexit and duty charges, but as I said above I brought item from an Irish site

The service was exceptional and I can't wait for my clubs to arrive!

Had a fitting with James Wilson at the livingston branch,great advice in a relaxed but very informative manner.Very happy customer who left with everything i wanted and more.

Had a custom fitting for a driver,with Mike from the Middleton branch (Heaton Park).Highly recommend tried several shafts and club heads to suit my swing.Will be returning in the future.

After my old driver disintegrated on driving range I received excellent service and advice from Darren Grey in the American Golf Shop. He recommended a Wilson Staff D7 Driver and after two successful test drives I bought the club just before Christmas.
