I went for a club fitting, the fitter Dean, was very informative and helpful. Went away with some new clubs that I know are right for me!

i paid 400 pound for a driver on the 5th november still not received on the 19th january or heard anything from american golf. minus score if i could have i been conned or have they stolen from me

Took AG up in an email offer for a free golf lesson. Was having a serious issue of an unpredictable draw with my irons from time to time. Within 5 minutes and less than half a dozen 7 iron strikes, Ger was able to sort me out. Great to work with such a knowledgable team member , and even better to help me with my game.

I bought a golf bag from American golf back in end of march 2021 as mine had broken , I then didn’t receive the bag for almost another month .
On receiving the bag I noticed a scratch on the front cover and that the removable lower pouch was missing a zip , contacted after sales and was told that the zip is correct and never supposed to have one zip of which I know isn’t the case and the scratch on pocket I would have to return the bag that I had waited a month for as had no bag and that they had no replacement for me as no longer in stock .
So I left it with them as fealt wasn’t my issue but nothing so ended up keeping the bag , bag has been ok but have had to carry the bag the last 4-5 rounds and the strap has broken within the years warranty ! On returning it to my local American golf they told me that this would need returning to titleist and looking at again leaving me with no bag ?
I find this ridiculous as do they expect people to own 2-3-4 bags as back ups ? So now I have a titleist hybrid bag which is no longer a hybrid bag as can’t carry it and can’t get spares for it anywhere which mean I may have to buy another bag of which I don’t want to as I’m playing in 5 days time and at this time my club is carry only !

Went this morning to get fitted for new irons by Dean Drake ,excellent service and was taken through the process with great detail .I would recommend getting this done . Just have to wait on the clubs now

I went to American Golf for some new irons on 18/10/21 was told they would 6-8 weeks. Just called to see if they were in and have been told might be March???. Thats nearly 6 months `CRAZY!!!!
Will never use them again.

I own my own business and have had to deal with Covid like all companies have had to do, we have also had to deal with Brexit as many companies have, but we keep our clients informed from start to finish about what his happening!!!! . Why was I not told when buying them that there is a problem with your supply chain at least I could then have made a choice!!!!

Great service from Callum & Declan at American Golf Rossendale today. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their knowledge on products was very helpful. Thanks guys.

I bought a set of irons in American Golf’s Cork store a few days ago. Ross took great care of me and helped me trying them out in their simulator. He couldn’t have been nicer. I would buy there again.

I had to return a golf top I purchased yesterday at the Boucher Road Store in Belfast as the golf top had a very bad hole at the back where the security tag would have been. I was very angry when the manager casually informed me that this does happen due to people trying to steal the garments!! They’re obviously aware of this happening but failed to check my purchase yesterday for any damage. I was offered an exchange but had to get a similar top which cost £5 more, when I asked the manager would they consider a straight exchange due to my inconvenience and having to make a 30 mile round trip costing me time and petrol his reply was no this wasn’t their policy. I have to say I was disgusted by his attitude and customer service and decided to opt for a refund as I didn’t even get a proper apology for their negligence.

I have to agree with previous reviews rating this company and its customer service. If that does exist.
I have to refer more so to Head Office rather than a store.
I received during a period of over 6 months a number of different answers surrounding an issue I had raised relevant to the Account vouchers and Birthday vouchers that American Golf promote.
Having tried at store level and Head Office level, I have given up.
Clearly processes rather than customer service angle dictates the company.
However there are only so many different answers you can receive from the same company over a simple request.
Store assisted to a point but then in came the ''process'' angle again.
Timescales to respond have not assisted this complaint, but it is what it is and I have other options where to shop for golf equipment.

I went to get fitted in American golf Eastleigh for some new irons. Tried quite a bit. Taylormade, Cobra, ping but the last once they were the ones, Callaway apex DCB. Tried it with steel shafts because that’s all I’ve had for my life time. Then Dean who fit me put a shaft in but it was graphite. Then I was like oh no….but what he did change my game. Hitting it now 15-18 yards and that’s only carry. So any time if you want to get fitted with irons, driver, rescue club or wood then go see Dean he’s a great fitter and he knows too much about golf. American Golf Cork - recently availed of a custom driver fitting in the Cork store.
The process was so easy starting with a call on the morning of the fitting to discuss requirements etc. and to let me know what to bring, what to expect and all that.
The fitter, Ross, was very cordial, professional and knowledgeable and I really couldn't recommend him and American Golf Cork highly enough.
Top marks from me all round.

Have you heard the one about the American Golf customer service - it’s a huge joke but not funny.
Finally got my complaint ref non delivery escalated to the customer service manager. He said it would be delivered following day - currently 23 days late - and he would check on it. It did not arrive and he did not check. Customer service agents can only apologise- again and again. If they lose it they cannot refund until they find it!!!!

Had a driver fitting with Alan at Doncaster Store, fantastic service, very knowledgeable, even gave me tips to improve my game, would highly recommend, can’t wait for my driver to arrive now & give it a go
