My wife was hospitalized with an appendicitis 2 days before we were due to travel so obviously we did not.
Despite providing hospital discharge letter and flight details they continue to request irrelevant documentation - even after raising a complaint. It's like dealing with a brick wall.

Never ever raise a complaint as the customer service is so poorly. I have raised a claim to challenge their claim decision as country situation change-after I booked my travel and I was not able also to travel for sickness reasons. Received 10 days a go a complaint notification and no further respond.

Called 4 times and left waiting every time more than 39 minutes with no respond with an answer machine all my advisors are still busy please hold . No respond back no update thickly is very strange fo ref such an FCA regulated company.

I bought travel insurance with Allianz through the Aer Lingus website for a trip I took in 2022 to the US. Because of this, I believed the insurance company to be totally trustworthy. Unfortunately during this trip I had a medical emergency and had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance. After paying out directly to the hospital to cover my medical bills I attempted to make a claim through Allianz to get my money back. After a month long endeavour of reaching out to this company via and phone and email, I managed to get all the forms and documents in order to complete the claim and get my money back. The people I was in communication with via email explained this would take a month or so. Eventually someone who I had not been dealing with got back to me to let me know the claim had been processed and I should see money in my account in the coming weeks. However, this money never materialised and I again reached out to them to explain the situation and request that my claim get relooked at. Again I was promised money would be in my account in the coming weeks and this never happened. I have sent numerous emails, dealt with multiple different people and been left hanging several times at this point. Some of the emails I send do not get responded to and others do but the responses are misinformed and often address me by someone else’s name. Since it is now 2024 and I am out literally 1000s of pounds (plus the £50 I originally paid for the insurance) I have come to the conclusion that this insurance company is a scam. I can now see with the copious amounts of reviews from other service users that this is in fact the case. All I have to say is shame on Aer Lingus for promoting this awful awful company.

bought ticket insurance for a gig for 2 tickets, a friend also bought 2 tickets for the same gig. Our partners are unable to make the gig so I called to try to make a claim and refund the 2 tickets. Apparently not being able to make it isn't a good enough reason to want a refund.

Seems pretty pointless to pay the extra for insurance for being unable to make the gig if not being able to make it isn't a good enough reason to get a refund.

Twenty two months for a travel claim to be processed. Customer service take an age to respond to emails. When claims department finally emailed me (after more than a year), they addressed me by the wrong name, asking for documents that did not exist. Slow to respond to Ombudsman judgement. When claims dept. finally processed the claim, they wrote with the incorrect sort code for bank a/c (their mistake, as they had previously paid compensation successfully). Money finally paid on 22 March, almost two years to the day since the planned holiday date. Avoid like the plague.

Do not buy this fraudulent insurance. They say they cover "missed event" they do not. I have tickets that my partner brought to the same event as I purchased the same tickets last year but to an event that's 3 hours away from ourselves and my partners tickets are 20minutes down the road from us. It's a no brainer to save money. You would think having 2 sets of tickets for the same thing on the same day would qualify us missing the event but no. I don't see anywhere they have EVER paid out or even paid based on the reviews for things they say to cover. Ticketmaster really need to get them removed from their site.

The worst experience of service ever.

Unfortunately I didn't have a choice but to use them as my travel insurance is through my bank.

Long story short in June 2021 my family of 5 had to return from Turkey as the kids had gotten chickenpox.... fast forward to March 2024, I have finally got the remainder of the money from my u used flights.

By this point most people would have given up on the claim but I got Financial Conduct Authority involved which helped

Allianz will use all sorts of excuses, they will ask for the same information 10 times for you to send in writing. They will ask for evidence that is more or less impossible to get.... just hang in there and get the FCA involved

I have never ever seen a company with so many bad reviews , how do they still operate? why are they not shut down ?My experience with them was a mix of all that those reviews had said , disgusting service , delay tactics , cut the calls off, make out they dont have your info' when they do . One of their favorite ploys is to say hold the line please , and keep you waiting for about 2 or 3 mins , and come back and ask you info they already all over again .
If I lived near thier premises I would go and see them face to face , that is if they are operating at thier alleged address , it would not surprise me if that was front and they all operate from india or somewhere far away out of reach in a secret building. What does it take for some authority to look into thier despicable set-up and expose them for what they are , a bunch of crooks and scammers.

Köpt denna försäkring via Ticketmaster, men är HELT omöjligt att fylla i en skadeanmälan. Tog över 45 min att fylla i ett helt galet formulär fyllt av massa hinder. När jag ändå klarat av detta så fastnar det i sista steget och allt bara står och tuggar och formuläret hänger sig. Totalt oseriöst företag och för j-t att Ticketmaster fortsätter lurar på sina kunder denna försäkring!!

No stars if I could!! absolute joke of a company i got my house insurance through these guys was contacted few days later asking if I wanted emegancy cover incase the worst ever happened I would get quick repairs done only to be told 8 years later when my roof started leaking and damaging my home that they don't cover flat roofs and that I should have read the leaflet they send after falsely selling me a product I'm not legible for! Why should I read something they already knew I had a flat roof as I stated it when I took my cover out! So they should do some reading of their own! Complaints department not interested as usual for companies like this!..... as you can see from all the other reviews here stay away from them authorities need to step in with these fraudsters taking hardworking people's money for nothing in return scum the lot of them and hope it happens to friends or family of them one day see how they feel!!!

Bought this insurance when booking tickets for Strictly Dancing in October. Also booked train tickets to get there. I have a medical condition that means I need to plan where toilets are on my journey. The train means there are toilets at the stations and of course on the train itself. Unfortunately the trains were on strike due to industrial action so we wouldn’t have been able to get home. Refused to pay the claim as they said we had plenty of time to get alternative transport. Have told them the reason why we couldn’t do this, but nobody has bothered to reply.

Claimed for an event following the sad death of my lovely mum. The whole process was very straightforward only needing to explain our situation and provide a copy of the death certificate and invoice for the event. The money was refunded in to my account within a week of making my claim. I would recommend taking this insurance out.

Sambon blev sjuk vi tog kontakt och skrev in alla uppgifter ni ville ha. Allt på engelska, vilket inte gjorde det särskilt lätt för oss. När allt var inskrivet fungerade inte sidan längre, stod bara och snurrade, vi fick inget avslut, gav upp efter 45 min
Fick alltså ingen användning av försäkringen vi köpt
Är väldigt besviken och kommer definitivt inte köpa någon försäkring av er i framtiden. Kan inte förstå hur Tickmaster kan jobba med ett företag som är så svårt att kommunicera med.

Even when providing a reason within their policy, they will do everything they can to not pay you. It's wrong. Even if it's a good time before the event! It's absolutely NOT made obvious, that it's only a tiny handful of reasons which this insurance is valid for. They make it seem straight forward, that if you can't go - you can cancel for a refund! Nope. This is certainly NOT the case.

Bought this insurance via Ticketmaster for a concert that my daughter bought me surprise tickets for my birthday.
The venue was an hour away but due to rush hour traffic, torrential rain and winds it took over 2 hours.
We arrived at the theatre in Bradford to a sign on the door that said the show was cancelled and the decision had been made at 4.30pm !
Ticketmaster sent a text at 8.04pm 1 hour after the show would have started !
Tried to claim for travel costs to be told we couldnt ? it was not covered ??? She only wanted some petrol money for a 2 hour journey !!!
DO NOT BUY TICKET INSURANCE IT IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON

Almost nothing is covered, even if you call up beforehand, explain the situation and they confirm it is.

Took out insurance for a concert on two tickets.. we can't attend has both of us have fallen ill .. arthritic flare up.. and covid for my friend... couldn't contact them as the email addresses and numbers are obsolete.. I did ring their head office and was diverted to someone who dealt with my issue who sent me an email with a claim form the problem is I have to have written doctors and specialist letters to send as proof before they'll entertain giving me a refund.. absolute robbery and a disgrace this company needs investigating and I am going to contact the ombudsman tomorrow.. avoid these (legal!!!) scammers..

100% rip off not worth the money, you will never get the money back. So many rules and you have to do so much for them and still will not be refunded. Absolute waste of money.

I responded straight away with screenshots of everything, all of the proof and now 4 days have past and I've received nothing back. So obviously their 3 day policy threat doesn't work both ways........

Scammers, be careful, do not buy this insurance
I have the Travel Insurance Policy - Policy : KLMGB7000065498.

I had an accident while I was going to the airport, and I missed my fight.

So I had to buy another fight it cost me £905, and I had to book a hostel it cost me about £22.

They are just scammers, be careful, do not buy this insurance, it is just rubbish.

I will take them to the court.

SCAM - these guys DO NOT PAY OUT. You are placed on hold for a ridiculous amnount of time so you give up trying to correspond with them.

Been trying to contact them since Feb 2023.
