Allen Ford had my car from 09/02/2024 at Kettering, they never had a high voltage technician qualified to fix it, the car was then moved to Coventry. They also informed me that their two HVT's had left, this was obviously rectified as I received the car back on the 08/04/2024. During this time I received two phone call's from Allen Ford, one was to suggest going through the insurance, the other was to ask me to fill out this survey, communication from Allen Ford was abysmal at best. I had to phone up at least 6 times for progress. I also had to arrange collection as I live near Kettering and no where near Coventry. No not great service.
Please don't buy electric cars.

The service from Allen ford Nuneaton has be outstanding, shoot out to Holly, Grace and Kate who have been fantastic. The delivery of my car was amazing. Kyle was great and the little red carpet walk was an extra special experience. Will be a returning customer.

My wife purchased the car from the leasing dealership team and from day one had issues with it. Once the deal has been done, the dealership did not want to know. She has had issues from day one and still has the issue ongoing over two weeks after owning the brand new vehicle. Messages not being returned emails being ignored and just the general unwillingness to help in any situation whatsoever. There is a fault with a car and I am told that I have to take it to a dealer and for me to sort out. After having done that and them having the car for nearly a week, the dealer still doesn’t know what’s wrong with it and no further forward.

It was a pleasure to purchase a car from Allen Ford Northampton, especially the help and guidance from their sales person Francesca who made great efforts to ensure we had the right car and arranging all the paper work with a trade in. She carried out all the services, paper work and delivery details with a friendly and professional attitude. Francesca is a good asset to the Sales team.

I spoke to Olí whilst searching for my next vehicle. He was responsive, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. Ultimately I didn't buy a vehicle through Allen Ford but Oli took the time to speak about alternatives and refunded my deposit with no quibbles. Refreshing experience with a sales person!

I had to get a car on finance. I had Paul Thompson deal with me, he found me a Ford focus St line within my budget and helped me with every little bit I needed help with.
I would highly recommend going to Allen Ford Coventry.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Oli from the online team when looking to purchase a new vehicle. What I found so refreshing was how proactive he was at following up and staying in touch and it really felt he did everything he could to get me the best possible deal in terms of finance and options. Top service, I'll definitely be in touch next time I'm looking for a new car.

Terrible customer service from Allen Ford Rugby when I took my vehicle in for a recent service. When asked whether I wanted something additional done as part of a service and I tell you yes, don’t then not do it and also not bother to tell me when I collect my vehicle. When I question it, please don’t start your response with ‘there’s a disclaimer which says we may not get all of the work done’ and follow this up with ‘we’re stacked out with work and say it will be several days before we can fit you in’ along with ‘I’ll have to do you a quote for the work’ despite me showing you on my phone how much I was quoted. Own your mistake, apologise to the customer and try and remedy it as quickly as possible to avoid further inconvenience to them. Really shoddy and appalling customer service from Ranvir. I don’t blame him, it’s no doubt his training which is defective!

Bought my new car from Allen Ford and Oli was very professional, helpful and went that extra mile to make sure our trade in and sale went through smoothly.

I have purchased 4 brand new Ford vehicles from Allen Ford Nuneaton in the last 5 years and usually only have the first check service before trading them in, they have aways been friendly and welcoming when taking my money from me.
This year I called to book in my 11month old vehicle for is first service with just 8000 miles on the clock, I was politely asked if there was anything else and said “yes” the driver’s door seal has split (first issue in 4 brand new cars over 5 years)
On the 6th Feb I took my vehicle in to the dealership for its service however, there was no mention of the door seal on my booking, I told them on reception of my issue and asked why it had not added on my booking.
What I did then get is a video report telling me I will need new tyres soon, and required a new driver’s door seal instantly at £157
When I collected my vehicle I told them that a door seal on a vehicle less than a year old with just 8000 miles should be covered under warranty (See consumer protection Act “fit for purpose” /” Durability”) “You will need to speak to Ford about it” they replied
Sorry buy if I but a new TV and it fails within 12 months, I speak to the electrical retailer not the TV manufacturer!!
Allen ford Nuneaton said they would speak to Ford and get in touch.
Ironically at 11:29am the very next day 7th Feb I received a call from Allen Ford’s Brentwood office to ask if I was happy with their service the previous day in Nuneaton.
I informed them of the door seal issue, and they were apologetic said they would send me a form to fill out, and someone would get in touch.
One month later NOTHING!!
Guess where my next 4 brand new vehicles WILL NOT be purchased from??

Whole process from negotiating price (through CarWow) - through to delivery of the vehicle (within the advised dates) was smooth and easy.

I feel terrible writing this review re Allen Ford Dunton but as a regular customer for the at 10 years I feel I must as this is such disappointing service.

The vehicle in question is a Nov. 2022 Ford Stormtrak.

We use this vehicle a survey/ small service vehicle with an electric bed cover to hide and secure the tool boxes when on the road. The electric shutter has failed to work and is stuck in a locked open position!!

I have just rang Ford Dunton to book this in as urgent as we cannot use the vehicle for its intended purposes.

They have just told me that the earliest time the they can even look at this for me is 27th April. 11 weeks away. What am I supposed to do in then meantime!!!!!
Awful service. They told me they have to book it out for a whole day under Ford warranty whereas a full major service for this vehicle is booked out for 2 hours. It does beggar belief. Where is the common sense in these companies in looking after their regular customers.

No care or concern to my urgent needs with this product fault, just trying to justify why they cannot give the service that is required under Ford's warranty.

They told me the reason is that they apparently only have one engineer to deal with this warranty work as the others have recently left to join the AA for better hours and more money after finishing their apprenticeships.

Astounding to find this out. I was told to approach another local Ford dealership as I may get better service from someone else.

So I contacted an independant local garage who told me its probably because the shutter has gone out of synch and it should be a quick fix to reset if this is the case but they would help ASAP as they realise the importance of this particular vehicle being able to be used for its intended purpose.

In this instance 1 star is too high but you are not allowed to leave a zero score on the trust pilot system.

Classic case of big companies not looking after their regular customers. Whereas little companies value their customers business and realise the need to give good service.

I recently completed the purchase of a new Ford Kuga Black Package edition from Allen Ford, Wayne was brilliant throughout the whole process. I ordered the car a month ago and had to wait for funds to come in before paying the deposit, I explained the situation to Wayne and he was very understanding and wasn’t pushy in any way shape or form. Just waiting on delivery of the vehicle now, would recommend anyone to speak to Wayne when purchasing a new car.
