I like the personal touch, which was well indicated by the telephone contact when there was an unavoidable delay with the coach. Plus, the friendly driver made it an enjoyable journey. The hotels are always good, some better than others. The room was a basic single one, but comfortable; the hotel staff were friendly. Food can be variable depending on the hotel. This time at the Queens Hotel in Blackpool I was a bit disappointed with the meals, but that could have been due to my expectations because the last time I was there the food was excellent, better than a five-star hotel, this time I reckon there may have been a change of chef which led to my disappointment at a lower standard. However, most of the meals were acceptable with a few exceptions. Breakfasts were always good but the evening meals less so. The waiter service was excellent and our waiter, Robertson, couldn't do enough to ensure we were satisfied. On the whole I enjoy travelling on holiday with Alfa.

We have been on a number of Alfa trips but this was perhaps the best because of the standard of the food, we know that all Alfa hotels offer the same menu but the presentation and quality of the cooking was by far the best we have experienced.
The journey, though long passed by very quickly aided by Richards "jokes" , he will be missed.
Definitely our most enjoyable Alfa holiday, even the time spent at Bowburn interchange was cut to a minmum.

Value for money and friendly staff

The driver, Anthony, was very good. Informative, funny, considerate.

The hotel was good, though the food wasn't as good as previous Alfa holidays. This won't tho, put us off booking with Alfa again.

Some of the excursions, day in Norwich, especially, need reassessing.

Debbie coach driver was brilliant and very helpful Hotel Staff and food brilliant always very hot and presented very well room lovely but no view and steps after a long corridor outings very good but a bit hilly for older people boat trips brilliant but had a brilliant holiday thank you

Nice hotel,not right in the town,quiet area,staff work hard and are friendly.Lovely walk from hotel along the huge promenade.Lots of little cafes.
Town a bit sad like most other seaside towns.

The whole holiday from the time we got on the coach was lovely a smooth journey to our hotel a nice room with an easy walk in shower that works windows that open to keep the room aired with fresh air comfortable bed and excellent choice of food and friendly waiters and waitresses
Our driver was great took us to some great interesting places very knowledgeable and we loved it

Great holiday on the Isle of Man the hotel was nice and the food was great and plenty of it, we asked for a room with some kind of view but we were put out the back in a small room with white film over the bottom of the window so we couldn’t see out at all !! the manager said he would move us when he was able to but for the last night it didn’t seem worth it.
Neil our driver went above and beyond to help us all even on his day off when he told us about ticket you can get for the electric railway and horse drawn carriage and you could use this all day for the buses as well.Neil was a very good driver and took us to some really nice places
to see the Laxly wheel and the horse sanctuary which was lovely and he stopped at a shopping village as well
we would definitely like Neil as a driver again.

We enjoyed our holiday very much. Arrangements were easy and we had a lovely drive to Torquay from our local pickup. The hotel and room was spacious and the staff were very friendly. Excellent food choice. Clean. Entertainment was mixed. The excursions were well received and organized. Would definitely recommend.

We had a 3rd party coach which was great as was the driver. We could have done with a bit more time at Longleat as I didnt get time to see all that I would have like to. Noahs Ark Zoo Farm would have been a nice stop for me in stead of Bristol. Staff were all lovely and food was good.

The trips out were exceptional; whilst staying at Bognor Regis in West Sussex we visited Worthing - my first time here and I was very impressed (in fact, it would be nice to actually have an Alfa holiday here); Arundel - a lovely touristy place; took a ride on the Watercress Line heritage railway which was most enjoyable AND visited Winchester. Rather a lot in a 5 day holiday.
The hotel was good and the food exceptional in taste, choice and quantity.

I went on the Glorious Lake District trip from South Mimms. Feeder coach picked us up promptly, pleasant helpful driver and no issues. Didn't wait long to get going from South Mimms and head to the Lakes. One stop on the way for the driver Neil to fill up the coach and a quick coffee. We stayed at the Auckland Hotel in Morecambe. Quick to check in and we had clear instructions to find our room. We were on the 2nd floor, lovely room, very clean and well equipped. Food at The Auckland was incredible. Full English breakfast, toast, juice, cereals tea and coffee. As much or as little as you wanted. Evening meal was chosen in the morning. 4 choices of starter, main and dessert followed by tea or coffee. Every meal I had was delicious, well cooked, good portion sizes and always on a hot plate.
Staff at The Auckland worked incredibly hard and were all friendly, chatty and couldn't be faulted.
The actual coach part of the break was disappointing. Neil the driver was a retired Marines band man. Rightly proud but we never heard the end of it. He played depressing music, very loud which isn't to everyone's taste. Our daily trips into the Lakes to us on the dual carriageway or motorway rather than the scenic routes. I've been to Scotland with Alfa so know the drivers can take the pretty routes. We never saw the beauty of the lakes at all, just random town centres where we had a couple of hours. The last day when we went on a boat trip across Windermere and it was beautiful, but again just 2 hours and we were back at the hotel. Full days were only 10am-3pm. The people on the coach were a fantastic bunch and we certainly had a laugh, but if your looking for seeing the Lakes then this isn't the trip for you.
Found the driver to be miserable, unhelpful and with no sense of humour. All he wanted to talk about was himself and the marines, he repeatedly went over the same thing 3 times.
Has a fab trip, the hotel was 5*, people on the coach fab but not the break I was expecting.

As a single traveller I always enjoy the friendliness of staff and fellow travellers alike. Alfa are professional and from the coach drivers to the hotel staff the whole holiday experience is excellent 🙌
