Amber Brunton was fantastic from start to finish, if we had any questions she was available and responsive, if we needed other parties chasing she was on it straight away and we had a reply by the end of the day, even when we had a few uncertain moments due to other parties she was calm, professional and reassuring.

Overall the experience we had with Alexander Grace was excellent as well as reasonably priced.

It's been another week without an update on anything.This is now over 14 months since moving

We are still unable to find closure because of the lack of input yet again from yourselves.

Please provide a realistic timeline for resolving

* Land registry completion

* Proof of our ownership via final invoice

* Resolution in regards to our lost revenue because of Alexander Grace Law

I would highly recommend this service! Has been bloody brilliant from start to finish! As a first time buyer it’s a stressful thing to go through. This is by far the worst law firm I have interacted with; I have been trying to get an update on my case for weeks and despite several emails and calls, there is not even an acknowledgement from the team. You have to wait for atleast 10 min on the reception line only to be told that the team is busy and will get back to you, which it never does! Thank goodness that its only a deed of variation and not a sale/ purchase transaction, which would have ended up being an absolute nightmare. Avoid them at all cost, if you can and pay a little more elsewhere to get better service!

AVOID! Communication awful. Legal advice lacking and incorrect. Donnamarie Sturrock and ‘Team Young’ singularly incompetent. Avoid like the plague!

Rebecca, Jodie and Mia over at the Blackpool office were all fantastic from start to finish conveyancing for my recent property purchase. All correspondence was dealt with and responded to with urgency. Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely professional. Would recommend 110%. Thanks guys

I could have done with more clarity on what would happen to my mortgage payments after the new mortgage agreement. I was hoping they would be taken off the amount borrowed but they were sent back to me.

Very good experience from AGL, very efficient in answering questions/solving problems. Had a long drawn out experience due to the vendor having issues and AGL supported and reassured me every step of the way. Definitely recommend team Mercer, would definitely use again.

Samantha Robertson was outstanding during my homebuying process. She was available on the phone at several crucial moments and her communication was excellent.

In particular, at the last moment the seller threatened to pull out if exchange was not made within a week, and Samantha and Caroline Lomax worked very hard to expedite the process and see everything through on time. In the end their hard work was crucial to the success of the sale.

The only complaints I would have is that some of my questions raised on the online portal were not answered early on in the process, there were some occasional mistakes on forms, some emails were somewhat cryptic to a first-time buyer and at first it was hard to get through to someone on the phone, but the service was offered at a very good price and once the communication lines were open, they really did everything I could have expected, so thank you to Samantha and Caroline for everything.

Avoid this firm at all costs!
I used them to purchase my first house in September 2021, the purchase still is not registered at the Land registry. I contacted Lyn Cornish in September 2022 to see why the purchase wasn't registered and received no reply. So I checked with the land registry, who confirmed no application was pending. I only found out there was a problem with the sellers transfer in January 2023,I've had no explanation yet,as to why I wasn't told about this in 2021!

In January of this year I made an official complaint, I've still not had an official response to my complaint. Karen the client care manager, makes deadlines and doesn't keep to them. I'm still waiting for her, to contact me with contact details for the company directors, DonnaMarie Sturrock and James Alexander Young.

I've now reported this to the legal ombudsman, and I'm getting legal advice on this matter now.
