Stephen was very helpful from the start. Answered lots of questions I had and also confirmed how it would work and what was required from the quick online survey I completed. Ordered, booked and completed within a week. Fitting was easy and on time. Very happy with the whole process - at a competitive price too. Definitely recommend.

Great job. I had a slightly complex installation which involved a 30m routing from my electricity box to my EV charger location. The cabling went underground, along a wall and around 2 sides of my garage. My online enquiry was followed by a Whatsapp video call with Stephen to run through the cable routing. After which I felt completely at ease that he understood the job and there were going to be no hidden extras, which was completely different to my experience with other companies. The quote was really clear and I thought the price was fair. Payment was simple and secure, by card. Communication was great throughout the process. On the day the guys arrived promptly and the job was extremely neat and tidy. Stephen even reduced the price by £100 as they ended up not needing to dig a trench. I would highly recommend.

I was given a fair and reasonable quote for an installation on a new property that are all pre-wired internally from 2022 for EV's under the current regs. None of this "standard installation" nonsense trying to charge full price. Undertaken in a fortnight.

Had a great experience! It was smooth and painless to get set up. The only hiccup was the delivery of the unit which not to do with Affordable EV Charging Solutions. In fact the customer service given by Stephen was personal. Would recommend to anyone!!!

The whole install was really well managed from the online application with Stephen to the install day. Our installer Dan was really friendly arrived on time and was ready to start as soon as got the Ohme charger. We looked at all the best positioning options and Dan advise from other installs he had completed. Overall an excellent install and experience I would recommend to others.

Very professional company. The quote was competitive and the installation of my EV charger was completed very efficiently. All installation certificates were provided and as I was able to benefit from the government grant, the company was able to deduct this amount from my final bill. Would recommend.

Really professional and caring team. From initial request through to the installation the team really helped me understand what would be the best EV charger for me, they installed it within days and during the installation really helped me navigate the App and how to setup my energy tariff / EV links. Great company to deal with

It took only a few days from ordering my EV charger to it being installed. The fitter arrived at exactly the time given to me. It was explained what was to happen and he spent time listening to me to find the best place to install the charger and the accompanying wiring. On completion, all relevant test were carried out, the site cleared of the debris from the installation and left clean and tidy.

Choosing a new EV is comparatively straight forward. Watch reviews on YouTube, go to dealers, test drive various makes and models and make a choice. Easy(ish) then get excited waiting delivery - at 70 years old, I dont get excited about much these days!

The choice of Home Charger is rather more daunting. Which one, what about wiring, circuit brakers, fuse boxes. earthing, power. Aargh. I contacted some bigger suppliers with their wizzy Facebook ads and claims but speaking with the small and independent Affordable EV Charging was different.

First contact took the confusion away. We talked at length. Chose the right charger for our needs, discussed all the installation issues (ours is a very rural location with some complications) and settled on a price - not the cheapest but competitive. Installed within the week. On the day, Dan was great, explained everything, efficient and we are completely satisfied.

My recommendation - go independent - they have the desire and need to care.

Small company delivering great service

I had my charger installed when I first bought fully battery electric vehicle (BEV). Whilst my EV car has been serviced my charger has never been checked. So it was really good to get the assurance of a complete check over for safety, if fact, the earthing was not entirely right so this was corrected in the check. So not only do I have a faultless charger, but Affordable EV Charging Solutions are also faultless.

Fell over backwards to help me with a charger robot that stopped working correctly. Sent a technician to see if the charger could rebooted or fixed. The manufacturer of the robot were able to remotely corrected the problem. As a result of getting such a positive response that any further problems Affordable EV Solutions will be my number one choice.

Stephen worked with me to understand my needs and then presented a few options with different chargers and prices. When we narrowed down to one, he was able to offer an install date within a week. Danny the engineer met me at the appointed time and then again discussed the physical fitting. The work has all been carried out to a high standard and looks great. Hidden cables on the outside and neat runs on the inside. A superb install and would be happy to use them again.

I recently contacted Affordable EV Charging Solutions because I'm thinking of having an EV charging point installed at my bungalow in Sheffield. It was a slightly complicated enquiry because the bungalow is currently rented out and I need to negotiate a timescale with my tenant, so I wasn't able to give an immediate installation date. I was a bit worried that I would be subject to the hard sell and being pressurised to make a decision there and then. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that the person I spoke to was both knowledgeable and understanding. They explained what is involved with the installation and are keeping my contact details on file so that I can get back to them when ever I am ready. They also told me that there would be a £350 grant available for my installation, which I didn't know about! A very positive experience.
