Poor customer service
On the 21 April 2026 I purchased the MAX stretch skinny trousers, my third pair, very good quality. I also purchased the Endurasoft quarter zip but sadly this was too long in the body and was returned. Return acknowledged on the 29 April but I have still not received a refund (20 May). I would not order again because emails are not responded to and refunds not processed efficiently.

I’m hoping I’m getting real quality here as the jacket seems very lightweight and flimsy. I’m going to use it on holiday as a layering up.
I ordered 2 sizes 10 and 12 (I’m normally a UK size 12) but even the size 10 is on the large side. I’ve kept this one and returned the size 12 and awaiting a refund which I’m told could take up to 21 days!! I have no idea why a refund can be held up for so long so that’s disappointing.
The return process was easy enough. The jury is out.

Having bought many items over the years from you and always been happy with my purchase, I had to return an item. You received it back at the end of April and have acknowledged this via email. Returns are a problem
I ordered a couple of colours and sizes as I hadn’t used this company before. They came quickly and the trousers I kept I’m pleased with. BUT…I returned the others on the 19th April and I still haven’t had a refund. My query to customer services on 11th May hasn’t been responded to beyond an automated response.
This company seriously needs to invest in after sales support. If you don’t need to return anything you’ll be fine, otherwise don’t bother as it’s not worth the hassle.

Great products, really well made and fit great. I love the hoodies the best. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because it takes so long to get refunds on returns, it's 21 working days which is a really long time to wait, to get your money back, especially in this day and age.

Terrible Refund Process
I have purchased many items from Acai and overall, find them to be a good company. The delivery is fast and the products are of a high standard. My issue with Acai is their refund process and how long it takes for them to refund the money back into the customer account. Despite them receiving my original order (I ordered the wrong size), I had to re-purchase the item which has arrived. I am yet to receive the original £120 back into my account.
UPDATE: day 23 (working days since they received my return) and STILL waiting for my refund. Absolutely awful returns process from this Acai Outdoor. No other company I have used has an outdated returns process like this. I would advise customers to only order what you can afford to be out of pocket for, over a month, should you need to make a return.
Despite this, I really do love their clothing. Also, 14 days is the 'magic' number for refunds. I will be escalating this issue with my bank. Looking at the other reviews, this company has really gone down hill and I will NOT be making any further purchases.
