Great experience from start to finish. Good communication throughout the process and one of the only companies I spoke to who were prepared to undertake on an onsite survey before confirming their quote - so I knew exactly how my EV charger would be installed. Installation by Tim was excellent and professional too.

The positive experience started with a call from Jo in Head Office, who talked me through the installation and quickly booked me in for an install the following week.
Tim the installer arrived promptly and worked cleanly and discussed in detail all aspects of the work and allowed me to have input in the location of the charger on the outside wall, along with the plastic trunking position in the garage. The install was completed quickly and handed over with a demonstration before he left.

What can I say, from start to finish the whole process was really easy and straightforward. I had requirements for the install to be completed in a certain way as I rent my house which was stressful but Chris dealt with this with ease. He provided all the information I needed before hand and was really efficient and clear. The day of the install went smoothly and the electrician was a delight to deal with, really neat job and completed to a high standard. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience truly deserves one. The engineer was professional, well-organised, and clearly knew their stuff. They explained everything in detail, kept the work area clean, and made sure everything was installed to a very high standard. All cables were tested thoroughly, and the charger was fully checked and working perfectly before they left. Fantastic job from start to finish – I’m extremely happy with the installation and the level of service. Highly recommended!

Everything was so easy, from purchasing the charger, to arranging a time and what was needed at my end, and the installation guy was really efficient, helpful and friendly.

After a great deal of research, I chose 247/EV to install my Hypervolt EV charger. I chose this installer as Chris had been very helpful and hand on in answering my questions at the survey stage and had given me the confidence that mine would be a standard and fairly straight forward installation. The unit arrived exactly when it was supposed to and the administrative arrangements for the day of the install went very smoothly. The installer was clearly very experienced and he did a very neat install.
My new car wasn't due to arrive for a few weeks after the actual installation was completed so I was not using it straight away. However, on a couple of occasions I had noticed that the front of the charger was showing a red light which indicates a fault. On the third occasion this happened, I contacted 247/EV and they directed me to Hypervolt the manufacturer of the charger. Cutting a long story short, it transpired that what was causing the problem, was the charger was experiencing voltage spikes from my power supply and this was causing it to trip out (all EV chargers are designed to trip out if the voltage it receives falls outside of a pre-defined range - this is to protect not only the charger itself but also the car it is attached to). With Hypervolt's help, it was discovered that the voltage spikes were being caused by the in-coming power supply to my property which was the responsibility of National Grid and there was no issue at all with the installation nor with the charger. National Grid initially tried to pass the book but Chris at 247/EV was instrumental in getting them to sit up and take action. After further involvement from me, National Grid actually then visited the sub-station that feeds my property (only 2 doors away) and found, by their own admission, that the voltage was set too high and this was what was causing my EV charger to trip out. About a week later, National Grid visited again to turn the voltage down in the sub-station and this has cured the problem. I have to place on record the great service I have received from both 247/EV and Hypervolt in helping me to achieve a resolution to this problem which was not of their making.

I am delighted with the service I received from 24.7EV. I found their pricing to be extremely competitive and the products which they use to be the best around after months of research.
Tim did a great job of installing my unit and left the area clean and tidy. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain how to operate the unit whilst also assisting me to link the app to the device.
I’ve already recommended 24.7EV to other friends!
