Couldn’t recommend enough!! The communication from start to finish was incredible, everyone I spoke to was so helpful and friendly, from the initial phone to call the installation. I had no clue about EV chargers before and everything explained so clearly on the consultation call and installation. Dominic installed my charger and did such a great job, all the cable work is very neat and he worked with me to find the best spot for the charger. Thank you everyone! 11/10!

I booked through Hypervolt's MyInstaller portal and paid on 6 August. Hypervolt's site quoted up to three weeks for installation, but the earliest slot 247EV offered was 9 September, 12:00–4:00 PM, over a month away. They promised to move me up if anything opened. Nothing did, and I paid for public charging in the meantime.

I confirmed the booking twice, including that morning. Both times I was told the job would be completed within the window, since a standard install takes two to three hours. I cancelled work travel to be home.

The installer, a Southwell Electrical Services contractor, arrived just after 3:00 PM with no notice. During the wait, I had to chase 247EV repeatedly. A promised five-minute callback never came, and staff were defensive and dismissive throughout. On arrival, the installer said mine was his third job that day and he had to leave by 5:00 PM, so he wouldn't finish. 247EV's slots are four-hour blocks, so the day appears to have been overbooked.

When I raised this, 247EV claimed the booked "installation time" was only an arrival window. They then cancelled the job and offered a refund, with no apology or compensation.

The refund was eventually processed via Hypervolt after further chasing. Overall, I lost over a month of waiting, a full day, and public charging costs, and got no installation.

Avoid.

Hypervolt chose 247EV. Since first communication its been seamless experience. Right from scheduling to installation everything went well. Great customer service. Installation day went without any issues and I was given full demo of the charger post installation. Highly recommend.

Great installer. Prompt and friendly

I had a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro installed by 247EV and couldn’t fault the service.

Chris, the sales adviser, was helpful, clear and professional throughout. As my garage is around 30 metres from the house, I arranged for the electrical cable to be installed separately beforehand. Chris and the team gave me excellent advice on the correct cable specification, which meant everything was properly prepared and the installation went smoothly.

Tim, the installer, was extremely friendly, punctual, tidy and careful, and explained everything clearly. The Hypervolt didn’t connect to Wi-Fi on the first attempt, but Tim contacted the relevant people and stayed until he had made sure it was fully connected and working.

A completely hassle-free and professional experience from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 247EV.

Booked installation of my home EV charge point via Hypervolt and 247ev were assigned to my job. While my first installation date was rescheduled (from the 19th to the 26th August) then the engineer had vehicle problems and ended up being the following day (27th August) - the engineer Dave was excellent and installation was completed in just under 3 hours - all wiring neatly clipped along the wall and even had a battery Hoover to clean up the dust from drilling through the wall which I wasn’t expecting. Stella was also lovely on the phone who booked the job in and took my payment. Charged my car for the first time now and all working great!

The install went very smoothly and a nice tidy job. The engineer was very approachable and helpful. He arrived later than planned but an unforeseen issue in the morning job had caused this.

Dangerous! Didn’t realise when they fitted ours that they took the cable through the gas box. We have smart meters so no reason for us to ever look in there! My husband checked the connection in the electricity box at the time which looked fine, but didn’t even consider he’d go through the gas box! Only realised when we had a new boiler and the gasman pointed it out. It was fitted over 2 years ago so guess we have to pay someone to put it right now!

Excellent service from start to finish. The installation was completed professionally and efficiently, and everything was left neat and tidy. The team were friendly, helpful and clearly knew what they were doing. I’m very happy with the installation and would definitely recommend them.

Very professional, explained each stage, looked to see what was the least impact on the house when fitting the charger. Made certain that the unit was fully functional before leaving. Walked me through the process and I can’t praise the fitter more highly

Had my EV charger installed and I never thought I would be writing a review about it but good ess me if you have a choice about who to use for your installs, choose this company. Ryan was amazing, the work he did was like a craftsman, the care and attention he showed to my house were 5star. Plus he took the time to make sure everything was exactly how it ahould be and that it all worked and looked fantastic. I cannot recommend them (and Ryan) highly enough.

247ev installed our Hypervolt car charger and I couldn’t be more happier. Exceptional customer service and the fitter was a credit. Would highly recommend if your thinking of having a charger installed.

We selected 247EV after they were recommended by Hypervolt as their approved installer for our EV charger, and the experience was a real mixture of highs and lows.

The initial online survey was quick and straightforward, and the follow-up telephone call with Joanne was friendly, efficient and professional. Everything up to that point gave us confidence we had chosen the right company.

Unfortunately, things then went downhill. We were left waiting around six weeks for approval from the electricity network company, with virtually no communication or updates from 247EV throughout the process. In the end, I contacted the electricity company myself to obtain the approval, yet it still took a further two weeks before an installation date was arranged.

The installation team, however, were absolutely excellent. They arrived on time, were courteous, professional, completed a first-class installation and left everything clean and tidy.

It’s such a shame that 247EV’s communication doesn’t match the quality of its people. The product is excellent, the installation team are outstanding, but the lack of proactive communication throughout the process lets the overall experience down.

From the first get go until the installation, communication, helpfulness and professionalism was absolute pleasure. No issue was too small and acted very promptly to suit our needs. Can’t recommend highly enough! 👏👏

I contacted 247ev to enquire about a post-install upgrade of my Andersen A3 charger to include Advanced Solar which would integrate it with my solar energy system. I was expecting this to entail additional cost for the supply and fit of a second CT Clamp. However, Chris from 247ev contacted me to say that they had spoken to Andersen and worked out that a remote software update to my charger would give me basic solar integration at no extra cost. This is all I need at the moment. Result!
