Unsatisfactory
A family member lost their loved one recently. Had nothing but problems with this firm. Time consuming. No continuity. Lost valuable docs which were located after a lengthy time. Were told we were not able to conduct probate ourselves.
Would not recommend at all. Go to a local reputable solicitor.

A very disappointing experience
When we wrote our wills, they were great in sorting them & our LPA’s. When my Husband passed away in July they have made my experience dealing with them so stressful at a time when I needed help & guidance. I wish I had gone through a local firm whose help & response times would have been quicker. When a loved one passes you don’t know what to do. I would have expected a better experience for the money we spent with them.

Amberlie
Amberlie was amazing I lost my mum in March and I had to deal with my late mums estate which is not an easy thing to do when you have lost a loved one.
I contacted WSL who mum had her will with.
They were absolutely brilliant Amberlie was very helpful in everything I needed to get and do.
Amberlie was very patient/polite with me as I've never done this before and it it is so upsetting to do.
I could never had done this on my own I can't thank Amberlie enough for everything she has done.
Amberlie also put me in touch with a conveyancer to help change the name on my mums property to ours.
That's all going through now. I am now looking at doing my Will with them.
Once again thank you so much for everything WSL especially to Amberlie

Slow, unresponsive, and not worth the cost
When I tried to contact them about getting my will, it always took days. After I paid, it took more than two weeks to actually receive it. Once they sent the documents, they stopped responding to my emails and phone calls, so all my questions and requests were just ignored.
In the end, all I got was a hard copy of exactly what an online will-writing service had already provided me in 30 minutes—at a sixth of the price. Really disappointing.

Avoid at all costs - Incompetent
Avoid at all costs, Took my 82yr old fathers money which gradually increased and increased depending on various service, sent through the documents to sign and they were all wrong was then informed he had to pay to correct them. I of course argued this and they said they would rectify the documents and resend them. Once again documents arrived incorrect and missing vital information that had been agreed. Have since called intermittently for over 1 month to get this sorted and more recently have formally left a total of 7 messages with various people but still nothing at all.
Negligent and Incompetent AVOID.

Thoroughly disappointed with the service. Paid for a them to write my will. Never recieved the document, called after realising nothing had been recieved only to be told I have to pay again if I want the will.
Shirking any responsibility blaming Royal Mail (they send by 1st class not recorded delivery apparently).
Would not recommend.

Thank you for contacting WSL and informing us you did not receive your Will. We find Royal Mail 1st Class to be the most convenient way for our clients to receive their Wills, as it means they do not need to be at home to sign for them. Unfortunately, however, it does mean that occasionally documents do go missing. We do not require you to pay in full for another Will, but as it has been 12 months since your appointment, as reissue fee would be payable. Please do contact the office should you wish to proceed to ensure your wishes are legally recorded and loved ones protected.

Professional & extremely helpful company
Angus Childs helped us with a very complicated Probate application. He dealt with all matters in a sensitive, professional and timely manner. I cannot thank him enough for his help and feel that it was definitely worth employing WSL to deal with this matter rather than trying to do it myself
