World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

Very disappointed with the whole…
Very disappointed with the whole experience. I tried to contact customer service to double check my delivery as I had paid extra for a certain date. Firstly the AI Bot Tom is useless and of no help if you email customer service so I called and spoke to an extremely rude lady who refused to check for me and just kept saying it will be there. I was notified that delivery would be between 7pm and 9pm. On Friday the delivery was made to my 80 year old Mom and the driver did not even ring the doorbell and just dumped it out the front of the house. Luckily my sister visited and saw it
The gift was then opened and what a waste of money the gift wrapping was that I paid for. The rose had been heavily pruned to about 2 inches tall so all you could see was the support stick. It was actually embarrasing to send that as a present to her
Overall a terrible experience and I feel in no way worth the money. This was a special birthday and it certainly wasnt a special gift .

The rose for my son was very good and I…
The rose for my son was very good and I was pleased with it. However, I was more pleased with the 4 roses I had bought previously. I think, perhaps, it was the delivery that irked me more. It arrived over 6 hours late and was left out all night on my front doorstep, and on its side which spilled out some of the soil. That, however, is not the rose's fault. I would still use this company, as they obviously take great pride in their product. I'm just glad it wasn't raining.

Was told on the day of dispatch the wedding rose I had ordered was cancelled due to poor condition. It was for a friend returning from their wedding so the surprise was ruined. I was also annoyed they said refund can take up to 14 days. So they take my money, no rose and I have to wait 2 weeks for a refund! I went with another company same day dispatch great service. It would have been a nice gesture if goid will to offer a small discount off next order for the inconvenience and disappointment caused but no nothing. Not good customer service at all. I wont be using them again.

Third time, last time.
This was my third experience using World of Roses company. The first experience, early in the year, was spoiled due to delivery issues and damaged plant. I gave the company a second chance, later in the year and was pleased with the service and product. Unfortunately this third purchase was delivered in a poor condition, squashed and broken pot, compost scattered throughout and plants looking bruised and sad.
Customer service was impersonal and, in my opinion, appeared dismissive. I’ve removed myself from mailing list and will not be using this company again.
