WoodUpp is an awesome company. I previously bought screwless shelves from another company and mounted them on our new slatted walls. Even without anything being placed on them, they started sliding down. Needless to say, I returned them. I saw WoodUpp’s ad on Instagram so I decided to give them a try and boy am I glad I did. I bought two and the install was easy. They are unbelievably secure even with items on them. The shelves are powder coated high quality metal and nice and heavyweight. Extremely well made. Yes, they are more expensive than the cheap others, but you get what you pay for. These are made to last. They arrived quickly in well packaged protection to insure no damage.

I chose WoodUpp for my English Walnut project because they market themselves as a premium brand. Unfortunately, the experience has been a disaster from start to finish.

Inaccurate Tools: I followed their "Sona AI" agent's specific calculations to place my order on Feb 8th.

Conflicting Advice: On Feb 9th, after they took my money, a human staff member (Angel) reached out to tell me the AI was wrong and I actually needed more panels.

Out of Stock: When I went to buy the extra panels they told me I needed, they were suddenly out of stock. Now I have a stalled project and a half-finished wall.

Poor Quality & Support: To top it off, a panel arrived damaged at the bottom. When I reached out for help, I was told to "just check the website" and "use a calculator."

For the price they charge, this level of service is unacceptable. They offer a "100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee," but they make it nearly impossible to actually get a resolution when their own tools and staff cause the error. I’m currently stuck with cut panels and no way to finish my room.

Communication was incredible, prompt delivery packaging could be better with extra layer on top of Wall Slates in the box. Wishes: 9-10ft pieces and end trim for horizontal applications. maybe even electrical box wrap.

While I do like the finished look and functionality with the attachments I was underwhelmed by the quality. I bought a new saw blade in anticipation of this project to make sure the cuts were clean as this is a focal wall in our living room. despite this, many of the cut edges splintered the veneer causing rough edges. Apart from this some staples were missing from the panels causing the slats to be very loose after cutting. We had to cut around a fireplace, wall outlets and a thermostat and every time we struggled to reattach the slats that came loose because the cuts were between stapled parts. Would love to have the option to buy replacement staples for these situations. The attachment like the dupps feel like pretty cheap plastic, I was expecting metal for the price. Overall a bit let down by the quality of the products.

Slats looked a bit cheap with mdf on sides, and very rough/sharp on edges considering I wanted to use in bedroom wall doubling as headboard.

Absolutely great product. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the Grey Oxide. Completely changed the feel of our bedroom. Such an easy process to put up. Thank you WoodUpp!

Shipping was good but mirror had some damage on it. Far away you won’t spot it but up close you can see the damaged spots

The installation was super easy. I am not a diy person but I was able to do it with a help of a friend. I am getting tons of compliments.

It took quite some time and a few emails to get my order delivered. Why? I have no clue. Once delivered I was happy with the quality and the colors.

Great looking product, good quality, and easy to install. Adds a nice richness and depth to our family room.

Installation screws have been on backorder for more than a month! Purchased panels a month ago and am still waiting to install them.

Product shipped quickly and came with everything we ordered. Putting it up was easy and cutting it to exact size ( we have a 1920 bungalow) with our circular saw went fast. Using the screws that we ordered and the spacing method shown in the video, we were able to completely finsh the wall in a hour and a half. Designing the wall was fun and simple using picture hangers and shelves that we purchased. It is a beautiful addition to our room. The only downside was a couple of the pieces of wall had too much material on the side that should not have had any.

Cheaply made way overpriced, is functional.

I love my wood up panels, they are made from really good material and they look amazing on my island and fireplace. I will use this company again.

I ordered three boxes of the oak with dark backing and they arrived on time and are beautifully made.

We ordered the Akutiles for a large office wall to help buffer sound. The product arrived securely packaged and without any damage to the items.

As we currently have the Akupanels installed in another office, we wanted to see if we liked tiles over panels. The tiles are more versatile for directional pattern placement and such, but panels are much easier to install.

I have to mention something weird... an optical illusion occurs. While we love the look of the panels and tiles, they can mess with your eyes a bit. It's hard to explain, but we discovered if you put something on the paneled/tiled wall (picture or tv -using their mounting hardware) it diverts the eye and reduces this weird optical illusion. It probably wouldn't be as noticeable on a small wall (guessing). Our walls 10ft high and 18-24ft long.

The videos sent from the co-founder and from Tara are a nice touch and because of this follow-up on my order, I am giving you 5 Stars. I will order from you again.

We love this product! We first installed this in our own home and now sell it in our kitchen and bath store. Ordering is easy. Great customer service with great communication whether it's email, chat or phone. Now I need this on the outside! Excited about the new product. Don't hesitate!

The quality of the product was horrible. I wasn't expecting the best, but the laminate they use makes it nearly impossible to cut clean edges, or otherwise sand the edges to appear clean after being cut properly.

The end result is beautiful, but there were bumps along the way. Ordering 7 panels (consisting of 14 separate panels), a large TV mount and a cable cover was easy enough. WoodUpp reached out to let me know that the cable cover was backordered and asked if I wanted to cancel. I asked that they ship everything else and the covers when available. Not a big deal at all. I also asked when they think they will ship and was told about a week.

After a week came and went with no update, I inquired on the status. Another week passed and I received no response. At the two week point, I received shipment notification for the panels and mount with tracking, so I made plans to install the day after delivery. Each box had a tracking number, but only the master tracking number showed travel progress. When FedEx arrived, they only had the TV mount.

I reached out again stating that I never received a response to my previous inquiry, and only received the mount, despite having tracking info for the panels as well. WoodUpp finally responded and said the panels weren't ready to ship yet, despite having tracking info. I was offered a discount, which was very nice. They finally shipped that day and were delivered promptly.

Unfortunately 4 of the 14 panels were damaged. There was no packing material to protect the finish. One had a gouge where wood was scraped off. One panel had a smashed slat on the end. Two others were scuffed to the point where I needed to use wood touch up crayons. One panel was cut crooked and I had to trim felt for it to align with other panels. I reached back out and they offered an additional small discount for 2 of the 4 damaged panels. No apology. I appreciate the discount, but an apology would have been nice. Also, their customer service is appears to be AI driven, which made it seem pretty impersonal. Your results may vary.
