We created an akupanel wall in our foyer and in our mudroom. Cutting the pieces to fit was a giant mess. Black felt fuzz was everywhere. We didn’t expect such a mess. Also, the panels we received weren’t all the same size. I feel like although the finished project looks good, it was not nearly worth the cost. The wood was cheap and chipped at the ends once cut. My husband said he could have bought black felt and made this for 1/3 of the cost from WoodUpp.

WoodUpp has a great selection and they make the process easy. Great to work with.

Needed lights, worked great. Remote was missing but you guys sent it immediately. Great service and experience

Enjoying our panels. The only negative we encountered is several of the panels came damaged on the edges. Something you wouldn’t anticipate for the price we paid. We don’t know if it happened prior to shipping or not. But since it was on several panels we just adjusted the panels during instillation to better hide the damages.

Overall this product is very good. It is simple to cut, apply and looks great. I love the accessories, the way they look and simple to install. There are a few items that could be improved: The wood quality itself is good, the issue is that; 1- not enough staples holding the wood on the felt. When you cut it If you don't have more staples yourself the wood will move during the cut. 2- The board pieces are not all aligned evenly on the felt I had to take some of them off and re-staple them on to get them all even.

Easy installation and looks great. Would recommend buy of product

This projuct was easy to install, and beautiful looking. The website was easy to navigate and when i reached out with a question it was addressed by a real person quickly. The ordering was based on square feet which might make small projects difficult to estimate since its hard to determine wastage since you are working with board units of 2 different widths. I suggest buying extra to make sure you have enough.

I am a photographer and videographer, and I've always wanted a space that I can use as my office/studio. When my fiancé and I moved into our condo last year, we came up with the concept of doing an accent wall, and he found your company. While he's very handy, I can't explain how easy the process was to install the panels! We came up with a system and got a whole wall done in just a few hours, and it looks amazing. It's everything I've dreamed of having and I'm so happy with the way it turned out

The panels look great. I abandoned the glue. The glue had different viscosity as it was used. I changed over to screws. The job went faster than expected. The people at Woodupp were easy to deal with and accommodating with my schedule.

We have transformed our space!

Update following comment from Woodup so that customers can make their own opinion.

Ordered on 12/19, on the basis of the information on the website: order processing 3-5 days. Shipping 1-3 weeks, if no unforeseen circumstances arise.
Followed up on 12/27 as hadn’t heared from anyone about my order being processed. Received automatic email from « Ai agent » to let me know that someone would follow up. No one reached out. Emailed again on 1/10. That’s almost a month after ordering. Heard back on 1/12 to let me know order was expected to ship « later that week ». Did not receive any confirmation that product had indeed shipped that week. Finally received partial delivery on 1/18 : one box was missing. I had to reach out to customer service to get update.
Overall: never received order processing confirmation. Received goods over 5 weeks after order, with no explanation. Had to constantly chase to get updates. 2 to 3 days delay between my outreach and customer service response.
Limited or inaccurate information provided, reactive and not proactive communication, slow to respond. I confirm subpar rating of customer service.
However: product is indeed really good. Installation is easy and it looks great.

Great quality product, expected delivery time was much longer than expected but overall pleased with the craftmanship.

These work perfectly

Customer service was excellent at coordinating a delayed delivery request and changing a few items in the order. On the other hand items were missing. I still don’t have the remote control. It’s a unique product. Not many construction materials have a felt board backing. A list of tools and materials would have been helpful. Nowhere is the need for very short screws, a staple gun, or a 64 tooth saw mentioned. If you want an excellent rating, these things matter because it saves the customer time, money and aggravation.

Awesome product, fantastic customer support, and an all-around great experience! I will be using WoodUpp again for sure!

The product itself is SO, SO, SO gorgeous, and so easy to install. I completed a 16' corner of our office by myself. Once we get all of our doner plaques and such installed, it's going to be so impressive.

The shipping and shipping-related customer service was a little lacking. We did purchase during Black Friday, and anticipated some delays, but we were not anticipating that it would take nearly 2 months to receive. Customer service was so nice, but their stated shipping days were not accurate.

Having said that, I would still recommend the product, but if you have to have the panels installed by a certain date, give yourself plenty of time to get the product in and installed.

I started ordering for my office project when Woodupp launched the “Black” Friday sales. I went with them due to their overall quality and the versatile custom accessories. Their customer service team was great to work with and I absolutely love the end result!!

I love how easy it is to transform a room with these panels. Just finished the second project with the blue oxide and I absolutely love the result
