Shipped a broken RG40xxv and haven't responded to my email.
I suspect they're just dropshipping from China (where it was posted from) and the product is not legitimate, hence the immediate screen issue.
Scam company.
Sent an email, three days later got an automated "you'll get a response in 24-48 hours" but it's been three days since then and nothing.
Waste of money, just buy directly from AliExpress yourself that way you can contact the appropriate party for assistance with problems instead of getting ghosted and scammed.
AVOID.

I've just received my second order from WhatGeekUK and both were delivered within the timeframe both were delivered in mint condition and the price was excellent so I will be buying from them again.

The product came within reasonable time and well packaged. the product itself is packaged well does not contain large number of boxes or plastic. which i am happy about.
For me, I would buy again or even recommend for others.
The ANBERNIC RG34XXSP Flip Game Console with 3.4" Screen and Joystick is very compact, has a large volume of games to play and a good battery. it charges in a good amount of time, comfortable to hold, good screen quality. I really enjoy this product so far and i know i will not get board. this product is in good value for money and perfect for long journeys.

Competitive pricing. For me, also had no import tax or hidden fees on arrival. Long delivery as it ships from China, despite the "UK" suggesting URL. I see that others from the UK have had issues, so it could well be a stroke of luck that I've had a relatively painless experience. Tracking kept me up to speed along the way.

I love everything about this keyboard:
- The slim profile
- The 84-key layout
- The volume knob
- The connection to multiple devices
- And of course - the sound of the switches is absolutely amazing!
Perfect for both work and gaming! I genuinely hope the quality holds strong for years to come!

I recently bought a very expensive gpd mini 2025 machine from Whatgeek but because I had accidentally bought the wrong one I had to request the cancellation of the order and ask for a refund. I contact support and they were able to help me. They replied to all emails and were very helpful.

And I have to add that I send a lot of emails with questions and they replied to all very politely.

The refund took 5 working days to arrive but it arrived without issues. So please keep that in mind, it is normal to take a bit longer than UK based companies.

They are honest and trustworthy and reading from the rest reviews here, they are trying to improve their customer service.

Overall I had a very good experience and will buy from them again!

I've previously ordered from this company a few times and had a great service, however this was the first occasion ordering an item over £400.
I had to chase and contact numerous times to try and resolve. Requests to cancel and refund the order was ignored. Eventually had to get PayPal involved after a month of chasing my item. Company agreed to resend the item immediately along with issuing £40 compensation. The compensation never happened, however I did finally receive my item.
Very disappointed with the service and looking at other reviews, it seems they have a history of promising refunds etc that never happens. Just glad I used PayPal and eventually got my item.

Update: This morning (10/07/25) I received a confirmation email from PayPal to advise that the £40 refund has been issued. I appreciate this being resolved.

I bought a AOOSTAR AG02 Egpu caddy. Whenever i plug it into my PC is blue screens or the Egpu spins up for 30 seconds then switches off. I contacted them they said they would like to give me a partial refund to have it repaired. I've told them i would like to return it for a full refund. I will update when concluded. Update to this. They have now asked me to return to China at my expense but not to use a western courier. The only Chinese courier i can find is China post and they want £57 to return it and it won't arrive for 20 days. I've reported them to my credit card company. Edit i have just received another email saying i can use Royal mail. The cost is nearly £100. My order number is WGUK_27229 and despite the message from What Geek they still have not arranged a collection or discussed a refund. Final update. Email from the customer services. I can't afford the £100 to send back an item worth £150. Hopefully American express can sort it. Please don't buy from these lot. Lets hope they go out of business.

Ordered a controller from this company. Mainly to use with my switch 2 as the Nintendo pro controller is very expensive. The quality is outstanding. The price was great sbd it was delivered promptly.

Ordered the anbernic RG40XXV and it's superb. Build quality is great and the LCD screen means the colours are crisp with no game lag. The game catalogue is huge (16000 games!!!) I was interested in only PS1 and SNES but have discovered so many great games for mega drive and Gameboy. Delivery was good and I was informed at each stage. Have already recommended and will be purchasing more from this company.

I ordered an Anbernic 556 handheld gaming console with 2 controllers all arrived by the earliest delivery date stated, all intact and as described the console is a brilliant games console easy to use and to add other games to I would recommend this site and console to anyone and everyone.

I was informed this would ship from UK stock. It didn’t—it came from China. I try to avoid buying direct from China and wouldn’t have ordered if they’d been clear. WhatGeek charges more than other sellers but gives you the same slow delivery and no local support. You get the worst of both worlds. Avoid.

The. Company has been excellent so far. The keyboard was so cool,I immediately had to buy another. If the company developed Mac drivers, I'd give it 6 stars!

Absolutely terrible experience.
I purchased an item which was to be shipped to the UK with free shipping advertised. The next day or two later I received an email that they cannot ship the item because they priced it wrong and expected me to pay and additional 100 pound shipping charge.

I followed up many times seeking a refund and I ended up having to raise a case with PayPal.

Avoid!!!

Shipping chain is excruciatingly long. Ordered a keyboard over two weeks ago. It did not even get on a plane to leave china for 10 days. Now it's been stuck at the US Airport for another 5 days. The expected delivery date has now been pushed later and later, it's now over a month after my order date. I don't even have the product yet but based on this I am unlikely to purchase again.
