High Quality Customer Service

I hope I never have to do this again
I don’t understand why bother to answer all the questions about any damage to your vehicle, get an estimate, or “valuation” I think they call it, only to get there and be offered thousands less than the offer you get on line! Then they ask you how much are you looking to get. A call to the manager has to be made, just like the bs you get when you go to the dealer to buy a car. Then there was a form that needed to be filled out, and there was not one to be had in any of the drawers which led to significant delay while I was there. I got thousands less than they offered. $3500 less. The girl was chatty, but I’m not sure if she was genuinely nice or just buttering me up to let me down.

Regarding the valuation: The online estimate is based on the information provided initially, which only disclosed a chip on the driver-side front fender. During the in-branch appraisal, we invite customers to join the process so they can see what we see. In this case, our inspection revealed multiple issues not reflected in the online disclosure, which accounted for the adjustment. These included:
Physical condition: Cracked front bumper, dented driver-side front door, and scratches across several panels (doors and fenders).
Diagnostic findings: We found 10 confirmed fault codes impacting safety and performance:
• C2421–C2424: Transmitter Battery Voltage Low
• B1650: Occupant Classification System Malfunction
• C1935: Ignition Switch Circuit
• C1413: Power Supply Volt Error
• C1411: ECU
• C1733: Longitudinal G Sensor Abnormal
• C1921: Parking Position Switch
• C1922: Hill Hold Switch Circuit
• P1604: LIN Communication with DC/DC Converter
These findings affect a vehicle’s market value and required an adjustment from the online estimate to the final offer.
Regarding the process: The “call to the manager” is not a negotiation tactic; it is a required step where the branch verifies diagnostic findings with our central valuation team to ensure accuracy. Similarly, asking about your price expectations helps us confirm we’re in the same ballpark before proceeding further.
We also want to clarify that the vehicle had an active finance balance and was described as “title releasable.” This means the title could be cleared and transferred after the lien was satisfied, but it does require extra verification steps with the lender, which can extend the time needed to complete the transaction.
Finally, we sincerely regret the delay caused by missing paperwork. Your time is valuable, and we should have been better prepared with the necessary forms on hand.

A Pleasant Vehicle Sale Experience
Ed was very helpful and made the experience of selling my car very easy. He explained the details of the price that was being provided for the purchase of the car in an understandable and factual way. I took my car to Carmax, CarShop and webuyanycar.com for pricing and webuyanycar.com was highest of the three. I would highly recommend this company and will come back again if and when I need to sell a vehicle.

The transaction to sell my car couldn't have been easier. Made appointment online and Darnel from Morton called ahead of time to let ms know he was on the way. He was courteous, explained everything in detail and came back with a very fair offer. He did all the paperwork and within an hour everything was completed.
