I did Saint Cuthbert’s Way which was a great experience. I chose Walk with Williams because they offered a good price with a reasonable single person supplement which was much more affordable than other companies. In addition, they provided useful guidance in advance which helped me decide to do the walk. Thanks to Matthew for patiently answering my questions about the walk - I was a bit nervous about if I could do it. During the week the baggage transfer and pick ups all worked very well. The accommodation was good as was the itinerary with useful suggestions.

Williams made it easy for us to complete St Oswald's Way. We chose the maximum length to walk each day, exactly which dates we wanted to be away and were made a custom itinerary. Everything worked perfectly, from the location and quality of overnight stays to suggestions for packed lunches and evening meals.

A great first experience of a walking holiday. Everything was planned for us and the companies used for this (transport and baggage transfer) were all excellent. Accommodation options are limited on the walk we did (St Cuthbert’s way) but we stayed in an interesting mix of places, most of which we would choose to use again. It was helpful to have recommendations for where to eat too. Matthew was helpful if we had any questions and the itinerary we were sent was detailed and well planned. Lots of our friends and family have been interested in our walk and keen to try something similar. We will definitely be recommending Walk with Williams to them.

The trip was so well organized. We were pleasantly surprised by some of the accommodation and if and when we had questions, both Joe and Matthew were reachable and helped us figure it out. Our taxi drivers were so nice as well and we had a great experience. If you are thinking about it, just drop them a line, you will have a personal and knowledgeable response and great interaction.

The booking process was super easy and we felt very well taken care of.

Just be aware: if you’re not that experienced of a hiker, it would be wise to integrate a rest day here and there or reduce the amount of km to be walked per day. We managed, but would’ve changed that just a little bit the next time.

Everything was in place. When we did have an issue it was sorted out immediately with no fuss and all luggage transfers sorted without any issues. The taxis booked arrived on time and even earlier when requested.

Excellent arrangements - lovely to deal with a small personal company. Everything went smoothly, and once again they had organised excellent weather! The Cleveland Way is a perfect mixture of countryside, moorland and coastal walking.

I have just completed 180 mile walk - Icknield Way & Peddars Way. Walk with Williams did a splendid job of organising the accommodation along the route. Any taxi transfers arranged happened smoothly. The accommodation ranged from good to fabulous (I was a solo walker so was dreading being in small single rooms - but that wasn't the case at all).
I am already discussing another trip with them.

This was my first experience of doing a long distance / pilgrimage hike and the service offered by Williams was fabulous, prompt, clear, and enabled me to tackle this walk with real confidence. All arrangements fell into place beautifully - I would definately book with Williams again!

My wife and I had a great walk that was really well organised. Accommodation was good with a couple of minor problems but we understand accommodation was limited at certain locations, Our baggage was transported with no problems and all went according to plan. It is our intention to use Walk with Williams again as they provided a clear well organised and professionally run operation and I would recommend them to others at any time.

We had a great trip walking the Cotswold Way. The accomodations were good and we especially loved staying in the two farmhouse bed and breakfasts. Our luggage was picked up and transfered correctly every day. They coordinated 3 taxi trips for us which worked out very well. We also received advice on the best way to get taxi's and store luggage when we were in London which wasn't even part of the trip! The price was the best we found and we highly recommend them.

Excellent accommodations on route and the baggage was always there , which was most important. This was our first time walking long distance days and on the whole it worked fine. The first day was the hardest and could have allowed more time for the walk. Good informative pack provided. However would have like a more in-depth information book on St Cuthbert's way. Perfect last day had plenty of time to cross the sands to holy island. But on the whole well organised walk experience .

Great company organised everything for us from accommodation, baggage transfers, taxis when needed, maps eating suggestions, personalised itinerary, maps. All worked great. 6 nights for us west to east.

From the first point of contact Matthew was extremely helpful and was able to fit my six day walk along the Hadrian's Wall Path on my chosen dates. As the time drew near to my adventure travel advice was given together with a detailed itinerary, maps and accommodation details. Transport was arranged where the accommodation was off the track. Baggage transfer was included and was faultless. All I had to do was turn up and walk. The friendly, personal service Matthew and Joe provide is faultless. Talking to b&b owners it turns out Matthew has walked the trail and visited all b&b himself before placing guests there. Great service guys. Many thanks to you both.

A fantastic weeks walking, expertly put together by Walk with Williams. The accommodation was all first class and the recommendations for places to eat spot on. The bags were collected and dropped off in time for our arrival seemlessly. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly book with them again. Tip for anyone doing this walk - book a rest day along the way. Although the walk is mainly flat the beach walking can be tiring and there is very little time to take in the scenery and sights.

The trip was well organised, the accommodation was booked and luggage arrived as expected. Often, the accommodation was further away from the path than preferred and we felt a taxi could have been provided, certainly for Ellerby, which was a mile walk along a main road. All the accommodation was excellent, with hospitable hosts and ample food and drink. The walking schedule was ideal and suited the terrain. It is the first time I have used this company, but I would use them again.

Our itinerary for a holiday hiking the Northumberland Coastal path was very well organised by WalkswithWilliams.Luggage transfers and transportation to and from the stages of the walk went smoothly including an extra day on Lindisfarne Island. Will use again!

My experience of using Walking with Williams was one of gratitude. Having spent many years organising my own travel trips both in the UK and all over the world and in doing so, learning how a simple lapse of attention to detail can sometimes put a shadow over an otherwise exciting trip, I took the plunge to allow someone else to undertake that task. What I experienced was an unexpected attention to detail and plenty of information about the trip and how to maximise the enjoyment thereof.
Not only that but the cost of employing another to undertake tasks that I was used to, turned out to be extremely competitive and great value. The hotels / B&Bs selected were exceptional value and consistently added to the overall quality of the experience.
I would highly recommend this company to undertake the planning and organisation of any walking holiday and I have no doubt I will be turning to them again in the future.
