I got a car as advertised
Got a cheap car ($9999) as advertised, a 2016 nissan versa note with 100K miles. The only issue was that it will soon need new tires (but that issue is to be expected - tires NOT bald just low). There were hiccups in the buying process because there were times when they were waiting on me to sign things and I was not aware. On a couple instances I would call them and nobody would answer or respond in a timely manner. I had previously purchased (three years ago) through carvana and they were much more responsive and hand-holdy.
Zuerst war ich super zufrieden
Zuerst war ich super zufrieden. Mein Bremskabel war gerissen und ich wollte eh mal wieder eine Inspektion machen lassen, also machte ich einen Termin bei Vroom. Die Abholung war sehr unkompliziert und schnell. Ich buchte dazu, dass mein Rad innerhalb von 2 Werktagen fertig sein sollte, auch das funktionierte. Ich bezahlte 129€. Als mein Rad - frisch von der Inspektion zurückkam, quietschte es, ich fühlte die Reifen, der vordere war recht platt. Ich dachte, vllt sei das Ventil nach der Inspektion nicht richtig geschlossen worden, schob es nach Hause, pumpte zu Hause nach. Als ich am nächsten Morgen losfahren wollte, war der Reifen wieder platt (Marathon Plus Mantel und Schwalbe Schlauch, beide nicht mal ein Jahr befahren, spätestens wöchentlich aufgepumpt). Ich meldete mich per Mail bei Vroom, da ich telefonisch niemanden erreichte. Auch am nächsten Tag keine Antwort. Als ich dann noch einmal anrief, hieß es, es wäre nie eine Mail angekommen. Die Schuld wurde sofort auf mich abgewiegelt - wenn auch freundlich und ich solle einfach nochmal einen Reifenservice buchen. Ein Meister sehe sich das Problem an, aber es sei davon auszugehen, dass es mein Verschulden sei. Da man bei einer Werkstatt aktuell lange Wartezeiten hat, habe ich dies so gemacht. Natürlich, muss ich nun den vollen Preis für den Reifenservice zahlen. Und habe nun über eine Woche kein Bike und großen Aufwand mit Hin- und Hertransport. Das ist sehr ärgerlich und absolut nicht kundenorientiert oder kulant. Natürlich kann es sein, dass der Reifen von mir bereits beschädigt war, aber sollte dies in einer Inspektion für 80€ nicht auffallen und behoben werden? In der Eile habe ich vergessen, den zwei Tage Service für 5€ Aufpreis dazuzubuchen. Nun dauert die Reperatur mehrere Tage und ich komme bei erheblichen Mehrkosten heraus.
Zugute halten muss man, dass der Kontakt und auch der Transportdienst super freundlich ist. Der Service und die Kulanz überzeugt leider nicht und hinterlässt mich doch sehr frustriert.
Es erinnert an Massenabfertigung, was es letzten Endes wohl einfach ist. Nicht mal eine kostenlose Reinigung oder schnelle Bearbeitung ohne Aufpreis wurde angeboten. Enttäuschend.
Disaster
I started my vroom process to trade in my vehicle for a new vehicle in June 2023 . I received vehicle and had old vehicle picked up at the end of July. The whole process was a mess. Except for the delivery of the vehicle the delivery driver was great. I’m still having to deal with issue with them . The newest issue is title and registration. No one over there likes to take accountability. I had to find out from the bank i finance my car though that my car had damaged that why my car was delivered so late. Vroom still hasn’t taking accountability for that .Please ask lots of questions before doing business with this company.

An- und Ablieferung sind perfekt, das ist schon alles, was gut ist.
Reinigung grottenschlecht, keine Ahnung, was bei der Inspektion gemacht wurde, nicht mal die Kette war ordentlich gefettete.

Horrible STAY AWAY
Horrible STAY AWAY. Bought a BMW that was listed as immaculate. Relieved a BMW that had many imperfections, a re painted bumper with wrong color, misalignment, needed rear brakes, bad battery, marred windshield, broken interior lighting, and illegal tint on windows for my state to approve inspection. Would cost me approx 10k to fix. Vroom denied and wouod not pay anything! Stay away...they photo shop there pictures, they lie to you about a 90 day warranty, and they have 0 knowledge on how to run a car business. If you have read this and already bought a vehicle and it's like my experience...file claim with Texas AG and Texas DMV. Also the BBB. These guys are losers
They are a horrid company
They are a horrid company. We got a decent mini cooper from them about in 2020 and never received the Title. We were told the company ally has it. We were recently in a car accident almost 2 months ago and are now being told ally doesn't have it. Don't trust vroom!
Bait and switch
Had an online price for them to buy my car, when I called they told me it was worth HALF of online quote. Not a reputable company. Could not talk to supervisor either.
Laughable!
Laughable!! Saw one of the hundreds of commercials they are running about buying cars and decided to see what they would give me for my 2002 Lexus SC430. This car is commonly for sale for $10k to $20k. KBB is over $10k. Did the website and they said they needed to evaluate more. Keep in mind, this car is in good shape. I got their offer today... $200.00. Not $20,000.00, not $2,000.00, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!! What a joke!! Even their biggest competitor offered $4,000.00. Don't waste your time!!
SLEAZY LIARS
THIS COMPANY IS SLEAZY AND THEY ARE LIARS. Bought 2021 Jeep Renegade for $30k. Got it and took to the Jeep dealer for state safety inspection. The brakes were rusted, grooved and rutted and would not pass inspection. Required $1300 brake job. Vroom said they would try to get it covered for me, then played games, ghosted me, then I finally got the one the phone and they said they could not and would not do anything for me. They were sleazy throughout the process. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VROOM!!!!
Smooth Vroom Purchase Soured by Lender Incompetence
The actual experience of finding a vehicle and buying it was fairly decent, my problems were with the incompetent lending groups that work with vroom. For context, I use allotments to pay for my rent, car notes, bills, etc., so that I don't have to worry about them. The rest of my income gets sent to my checking. Every single one of the lending groups I spoke with, were absolutely incapable of understanding that the allotments are part of my pay. They believed that all of my bills and rent are paid with the money that gets sent to my checking account, after allotments. They just couldn't understand and refused to believe that they are wrong about calculating my income. While my experience with vroom itself was good, it was heavily tainted with the sheer incompetence of other companies and groups that work with them, it was an uphill battle the whole time and going through with purchasing a vehicle wasn't worth the trouble.
NIE WIEDER
Den einen Stern bekommt der wirklich freundliche Fahrer. Vom Rest kann ich nur abraten: selbst nach mehreren Tagen konnte man mir nicht sagen, wann mein Fahrrad fertig wird, obwohl mit 48h-Service geworben wird. Fadenscheinige Ausreden, dass man inzwischen die "Werbeaussagen" mit 48h-Service relativiert hat (was unterm Strich heißt, für 48h-Service zahlt man nun extra), aber weiterhin keine Auskunft, wann die wenigen Reparaturen fertig sind. Habe den Auftrag storniert und nach einer Woche vom wirklich freundlichen Fahrer mein Rad wieder zurück bekommen. Dann die Ernüchterung: Kratzer im Lenker, Position des Bremshebels verstellt, Klingel "hing" auf halb acht, Licht war auch verstellt....NIE WIEDER VROOM REPAIR!
KATASTROPHE
Ich bewerte wirklich nie etwas - aber vroom ist so unfassbar schlecht, da fühle ich mich verpflichtet zu warnen. Ich habe so unfassbar viel Geld hier gelassen, damit zwei Fahrräder mehr als unzulänglich gereinigt werden. Eines hat direkt am Tag nachdem es uns zurückgebracht wurde, einen Platten. Beim anderen ist mit bei der zweiten Radtour (die erste war sehr kurz) die Gangschaltung in die Hand gefallen.

Worst car buying experience in my 37 year history. Muiltple imperfections that were not listed. Large issues with the car that cost thousands to repair and vroom offered a fraction of what they should be liable for! They’ve not paid off my loan of the vehicle I transferred and they STILL have not started my registration transfer. STAY AWAY!
One of the worst app ever
One of the worst app ever. I ran my credit application got a hard inquiry on my credit file and these people didn’t even get back with my terms and customer service was rude. Dont buy cars from this worst app
Buying a car from Vroom has been a nightmare
If I could leave 0 star review, I would. Vroom is literally the worst company I have ever worked with, particularly with regards to purchasing a car. They don't perform any sort of inspection or even quality check of the vehicles that they sell, despite what their website says. I was delivered a car that had a broken trunk (would not open), oil leak, needed a new battery (wrong one was installed), all 4 tires were below the legal limit of what is allowed to be sold in Washington State, and more. Upon inspection of my vehicle at the mechanics shop, it was even determined that there was some interior mildew and rodent festation of the vehicle, and when it was dropped off to me it was full of dog hair. In trying to work with them to get the repairs arranged for any of the mechanical issues, they have been difficult and cheap, not seeming to care that they literally sold me a car that has tires below the legal tread limit that are allowed to be sold. Will never work with Vroom again and highly advise anyone considering working with Vroom to move on and choose literally ANY other dealer, online or otherwise.
If there were zero stars
If there were zero stars, that is what I would have checked. Worst car buying transaction I've experienced in my 45 years of buying cars. The CUE system didn't work when it was delivered. It still doesn't work and I've been on the phone with Vroom and Safeguard for countless hours. I'm exhausted and replacing the CUE with my own funds.

We stayed as a family group at Sation house Upper Poppleton York. What a fantastic house, it was so spacious and clean, the standard of everything was 10/10 . The high ceilings made it so grand, everything we needed was on hand. The downstairs bedroom and on suite bathroom suited me because I'm disabled, the family didn't have to fight over the best bedroom upstairs because the were both fabulous, the bathroom was huge. The kitchen was modern and had all the amenities we needed. We would all definitely stay again.

Absoluter Saftladen! Was sich hinter der Inspektion verbirgt, bleibt schleierhaft: Reifen nicht mal aufgepumpt, Kette schleift, ist nicht geölt. Dann war beim ersten (!) Abholtermin das Rad nicht verladen worden, beim zweiten hab ich 80 Minuten auf den Fahrer gewartet. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Everything went well! I got my new car with no issues anywhere in the process. I don't know why here so many people are complaining. It seems like they are trolls from other dealers.
